Need them to hold off

I just need them to hold off until I get my taxes so I can catch the past due amount up. Will a forbearance or repayment plan stop the foreclosure? Wells Fargo acts like they won't help. They want their money now. If I had it, I would give it to them.

Don't want Deficiency Judgment

My wife and I built our dream house in 2007, then my employer forced me to move in 2008. We tried renting and selling the house to no avail. Currently, we are 8 months past due, and I am not sure what America's Servicing Company is doing; however, I have received a foreclosure notice from ASC's attorney. My primary goal is to get out of the loan without a deficiency judgment. Will a short sale or Deed in Lieu accomplish that?

Suntrust won't work with my Attorney

I am on a forbearance agreement with my lender who is Suntrust. I have a law firm working on a loan modification but they are not doing to good for me. I have paid them money and that's why I got behind on the last 2 month since October I was only 1 and half months behind before I started with the law firm and I could not pay both Suntrust and the law firm at the same time, they said that they would be able to help me and now they are telling me that Suntrust wont budge to do a loan mod and I just got a call from the guy at Suntrust he left me a message saying that he is going to start the foreclosure as of tomorrow because I have not made a payment I want to start paying them with my next paycheck. I will allow them to take the money out of my account automatically but the past due amount is too much for me to handle its about $10,000. I will be going to court for my fiance he is out of work hurt and has no income at all but he is getting SSD. We go to court to settle the case that may take a month to go through though he is owed a couple years of money for waiting to get on the SSD. I will be able to afford the payments until that happens but I need them to be willing to work this out with me and I would love for them to put the past due amount in the back end of the mortgage with a partial claim and I will keep up with the payments. I know that there is help out there. My law firm told me that they would get back to me but I am not sure on what to do. I just want to get this worked out. Should I call Suntrust back or should I let the law firm call them back. I want to call them but I don't want to mess anything up that my law firm might be doing. I have 2 children and I lived in my house for 10 years I cant go through this I worked too hard for my home and losing it is not an option.

We want out of home

We purchased our home in 2007. My house has been on the market since August 2009. We both commute from PA to our jobs in NJ. We no longer wish to live in PA and cannot find financially viable jobs in PA. Our home is not moving as it is in competition with the many foreclosures in the area. We will not be able to afford our payments much longer as I will have to settle for a lower paying job in PA in order to enroll my son in school out there. Wells Fargo won't help with a short sale or deed in lieu of foreclosure. HELP.

Bank of America told us we were in a Modification gave us the negotiator's name and when they expected it to close. We received a letter from Bank of America's Attorney stating a sale date. Bank of America postponed the sale. They told us for 30 days I got paperwork from the Attorney that postponed for 5 days. Bank of America stopped the sale. Said we were in loan modification and were pre-approved for a 31% modification. I received an advertisement from an attorney wanting to file an injunction for us he had gotten our name off of public record that our house was to be sold. I called Bank of America and asked them they said we were in modification and there was no sale date. But if I could get Bank of America to send an email they would stop the sale. I worked for 3 days to get them to send a email the the Lawyer. I can't do this alone.

Temporary Lapse of Employment

Temporary lapse of employment caused me to fall behind in my mortgage payment. I am a schoolteacher. There was a hiring freeze this past summer 2009. I am now working regularly again in addition to other part time and per diem employment. When school restarted, my employment restarted. I want to keep my home. Bank of America has reassigned my account to a government workout negotiator. Apparently, I did not qualify for the Making Home Affordable plan, so my info was reassigned. I have a hearing in two weeks. So can you help me?

Need help immediately...but not sure if I can trust anyone. For that matter just scared of losing money that I don't have in the first place!! I can afford my payments now. It would be great to put all the missed payments at the end of the loan, but all I need is a loan forbearance or repayment plan of some kind to catch up what I am behind.

My ARM will go up soon

We have been late on our mortgage many months as both of our retirement checks arrive the third Wednesday of each month. We are able to afford the payment, but the late fees are adding up and going against our credit report. Our adjustable rate mortgage is up in six months and we are afraid of losing our house then. I have asked numerous times to change our due date and have been unable to get that done. We are also in the process of a bankruptcy as we have lost our business. My husband has gone back to work full time. What i really need is a loan modification to keep my ARM from going up. I hope you can help us some how.

Is it better to let my house go?

We tried several times to get a loan modification with Indymac and even submitted a complaint to the Office of Thrift Supervision. They made a determination that it was more costly to help us remodify our loan than to let our house go on foreclosure. I don't understand this, it does not make sense. Is it better to let my house go?

in the eviction process

I have a 1st & 2nd mortgage on my home. The 2nd mortgage is up to date. The lender for the 1st mortgage placed us into foreclosure four months ago. We have attempted three time to get a loan modification from the lender. Recently, while supposedly working with us on a modification, the lender allowed the foreclosure sale to proceed and now we have received a notice requesting possession. It sounds like I am in the eviction process. Can I still do bankruptcy? How will this affect my credit?
