I need help catching up

Need help immediately...but not sure if I can trust anyone. For that matter just scared of losing money that I don't have in the first place!! I can afford my payments now. It would be great to put all the missed payments at the end of the loan, but all I need is a loan forbearance or repayment plan of some kind to catch up what I am behind.

My ARM will go up soon

We have been late on our mortgage many months as both of our retirement checks arrive the third Wednesday of each month. We are able to afford the payment, but the late fees are adding up and going against our credit report. Our adjustable rate mortgage is up in six months and we are afraid of losing our house then. I have asked numerous times to change our due date and have been unable to get that done. We are also in the process of a bankruptcy as we have lost our business. My husband has gone back to work full time. What i really need is a loan modification to keep my ARM from going up. I hope you can help us some how.

Is it better to let my house go?

We tried several times to get a loan modification with Indymac and even submitted a complaint to the Office of Thrift Supervision. They made a determination that it was more costly to help us remodify our loan than to let our house go on foreclosure. I don't understand this, it does not make sense. Is it better to let my house go?

I have an adjustable rate mortgage that Bank of America refuses to modify to a fixed rate. Currently I can afford payments but when interest rates rise we will be priced out of our home. Seeking advisement on what can be done to avoid foreclosure.

in the eviction process

I have a 1st & 2nd mortgage on my home. The 2nd mortgage is up to date. The lender for the 1st mortgage placed us into foreclosure four months ago. We have attempted three time to get a loan modification from the lender. Recently, while supposedly working with us on a modification, the lender allowed the foreclosure sale to proceed and now we have received a notice requesting possession. It sounds like I am in the eviction process. Can I still do bankruptcy? How will this affect my credit?

We are in foreclosure - we were just turned down for a loan modification. We have talked to credit counselors twice. Our original loan was with Taylor,Bean and Whitaker who went out of business while they were supposed to be in the process of a loan modification for us then our paperwork was handed over to Bank of America. I want to avoid foreclosure.

How can I get current?

I have been trying to work with Citi Mortgage, but they are being difficult. They are aware my husband was out of work, but now we make more money and are ready to become current on the loan. Instead of helping with a forbearance or loan modification, they sent a letter threatening to foreclose. They won't recognize we are trying to get current. How can I get current?

Saxon was no help!

I talked with someone a month ago about a a loan modification or some other payment plan. This person said they could help me with the first mortgage, they said something about a forbearance plan that was supposed to start next month. They said they would send me a contract, but they never did, and when i called back later they said the forbearance plan already started and that i had broken the contract by not making a payment on time. They never did send me any information about the smaller mortgage like the said they would. The last person i talked to was very rude, she just told me well you broke your contract, and she would have to transfer me. She did transfer me, and after I waited for five minutes she hung up. Saxon was no help at all.

I called their law office and they asked me to fax a request for reinstatement with an answer expected this Monday. I don't know the Foreclosure Laws.
