they are not friendly as for example when your in a situation such as facing foreclosure and you ask them for advice and try to ask them questions some of the representatives whom answer your call are not kind to care of your situation. some reps did not talk to me in a professional manner and made me feel like ther's no help out there and don't give any kind of advice- they talked as if they wanted to hang up the phone and not deal with their customers.

The one time I was late on a payment it was not my fault. I hold Wells Fargo responsible for messing up my almost perfect credit. I will never use Wells Fargo again in the future!

by GM From Pitman, NJ on July 14, 2008
WF told us we were behind on our mortgage payments but could never tell us exactly how much. Every time we called they told us something different. They would give us one forebearance agreement and then change it the next month. We finally had to hire an attorney who told us not to sign ANY agreement with them. He could not believe how incompetent they are. I believe they are incompetent AND dishonest. We never had a problem with our mortgage until they took it over. Avoid them at all costs.

We have been trying for 4 months to get a ARM Modification with Wells Fargo, they let your paperwork sit in their mail room forever sometimes a month or more before they assign it to a case worker. Their loss mitigation reps. all give you different information, no two are the same. they don't want to hear your problems. Customer service is basically horrible. They say they have options, but not willing to make them available to customers. Make it more complicated. No one seems to be able to give you answers, nor wants to.

I gave my opinion earlier, they are the devil in man's clothing. I have never talked to someone so rude, they will tell you they do no care what you have to say, either listen or they will hang up, up hang ladybug. They are the worst, I have never never seen the whole group that way, there were 3 people, 2 guys and 1 lady and the lady told me to hang up on the ones that talked to me like I was trash, I did not deserve it so do not take it. Her and those 2 guys, love them, yep loved them.

Every person you talk to tells you something different. You're told to submitt forms, and wait 3-6 wks. You call them in 6 weeks and they haven't gotten to your application yet. Tell you to submitt different forms to move your app. faster and wait another 4-6 wks. You call them again, and then they say that can't apply until your motgage is current, even though they said in the begin that we were eligible even though we weren't current. The ONLY good thing they have done so far is to accecpt one month payments even though we are behind more then that.

We've never had to contact them before this. I did contact based on a news program suggeting struggling homeowners try to work negotiate and owrk out issues they may have. Wells Fargo has asked me to write a harship letter, give them a list of our monthly finances, and other info in order to determine if they might modify the loan to lower payments. In searching for an example of a hardship letter, I found this website. We have spoken to an attorney and have retained Phillips & Assoc. in order to file a chapter 13 but are reluctant to give up our home in this.

Told by Rob Talley at VA he feels Wells is purposely defaulting hoping the VA will step in. They refuse to pass callers on to previous reps, refuse to fax documents to customers, and refuse to send their copy of contact info. Reps are unhelpful and sarcastic. Told by VA rep each Wells rep gets $400 dollars for working on a loan...no wonder they won't transfer us to a previous rep. Also, told by Rob Talley their is a program of stored info on mortgage notes called "VALERIE". He checked under our account and NO notes availible. Wells is deliberatly dumping accounts! How many people must suffer until something is done?

Will not talk to me, make mistakes and will not take responsibility, refuse all reason, and their Branch Manager called for over an hour, trying to find my loan to see what was going on, and even he could not get through. He was hung up on, transfered time and time again, and could not find anyone who could give him any information. He was finally given a fax number to send documents and it was the wrong number. Worst customer service EVER!! I was speaking with a woman yesterday who simply hung up on me in mid sentance and we (the branch manager) had to call her back, and the 1st lady was 'unavailable' so we had to start over with 'brad', then he was cut off, and during the 3rd call, (each time we had to start from scratch) I was asked repeatedly how much of a down payment I had. That made no sense to me or the manager. She then informed me I had been turned down for financial help due to the fact I had no down payment. The home has been in my name since 1985 and is worth $300,000.00, the original loan was only $70,000.00 -- I only need $5557 to get the house out of foreclosure, why would I need a down payment?? I have proof EVERY PAYMENT WAS MADE ON TIME AND IN FULL!

I have had nothing but the run-around with Wells. Every time I attempted to get hold of someone, they referred me to someone else, or I would be promised a phone call back, and never received it. For months, I was attempting to get the direct number for the "Loss Mitigations" department, but no one would allow me to have that direct number, I always had to go through another department, then promised a call back which I never received, again, and again. Wells Fargo is my last choice for future mortgages. I currently have two mortgages with them, one is a rental property. I’ve had the rental loan for 7 years now. I’ve never had to pay a late fee. The tenants have until the 5th to pay, so I send out the payment to WF on the 8th. I have until the 15th according to the loan docs. Since last year they call my home at all hours, weekdays and weekends to harrass me until they get the payment. They wake up my toddler and interrupt our family dinners. Whenever I talk to a rep, they are rude and condescending. I am outraged!

We have not had any problems with Wells Fargo....we had not start being late until this year. I guess we will find out when we actually talk to them about the payment plan. I pray that they are helpful.

They refuse to help me. I pay my mortgage on time all the time I am merely asking to lower the interest rate so the payments will not be so high. I aM NOT SEEKING AN EQUITY LOAN EITHER. JUST A LOWER INTEREST RATE

Process for mortgage review took several months before a decision was made to deny.

Very pleasant on the phone, but don't really say anything. Can't give me answers, etc. I guess it is nice that they are not rude. Just not very helpful.

Customer Service with Wells Fargo is seriously worse than Sprint. Many of their service desk personnel are rude, uncaring and brutish in their mannerisms, and in regards to my situation, showed little remorse or understanding.

my experience with Well Fargo hasn't been that bad. at one point I was falling behing on my payments and they were able to put me on a repayment plan which brought me back on track. Wright now im in the process of getting into another repayment plan with them as I have fallen behing againg. Let's see how it goes this time around.

It has been a nightmare trying to make sense of their procedures. One hand does not know what the other is doing. I have loan with Well Fargo financial, but a company called America's Servicing Company is the one actually filing the foreclosure. When I call I just get sent all over the place. One cutomer rep told me our loan does not show that we were ever in Loss mitigation! That was 2 days ago. We have been in Loss Mit since July of 07. We signed up for Project Lifeline and have been told for the last week that we are waiting for a negotiater to be assigned to us. All the while our home is getting a sale date for foreclosure. Very fustrating and not sure what to do.
