Horrible customer service! I have called and called trying to speak with someone about the status of my account regarding a modification and/or other program (unemployed borrower's assistance??) I might qualify for so I don't loose my home that I live in with my 3 children. I can't get anyone to return my calls, I have no written documentation that Wells Fargo is even working to get me into any such program, despite the fact that on three separate occasions with three different agents I had to give my whole financial "statement" (income vs all expenses) over the phone and give the same information over and over again. Every time I call the rep says "they" are doing everything in their power to help me but in my opinion, "they" are doing everything in their power so I don't get help. Feel sorry for the reps that have to answer all the calls because they get the brunt of the frustration from the customers and all the "behind the scene" Big Wigs just cower and never come to the phone, call you back, or give a damn about who the customer (AND PERSON) is on the other end of the line.

They stop taking my payments two years ago, I tried to do everything I could to get back on track. There is no way I want to loose my home, now in foreclosure Wells Fargo never tried to help me in the past. I want to know why they will not take the money to avoid the foreclosure, if willing to take it last week and last month. Thank you, I know they were given some type of monies for assistance to help there customers and never heard anything from Well Fargo, this was on TV

Terrible customer service. For 25 years we have always paid our mortgage on time (never once late) and in December 2008 my husband lost his job of 28 years due to business closing. Unable to find immediate employment we applied for the loan modification program. We did EVERYTHING that was asked of us. We called every Monday checking on the progress. Every time we called we got a "New" representative who knew nothing about our case and we had to explain our situation all over again. Every month we were asked to submit the identical information we had just submitted the month before. In the mean time we repeatedly asked if we could begin making payments to help us stop getting further behind. Our frustrations were at an all time high but we continued to do what was asked of us. We were finally told (after a year and a half later) that "everything looked good" and "most likely you will be approved". A week later we received a notice in the mail stating we were denied for the loan modification program with no explanation. Also many representatives from Wells Fargo stated "this loan modification was knew to them and they weren't sure how to really handle it"

I did have an audit done on my home and there were 4 violations in my home closing. I have sent an complaint to OCC. I have not got a respond from them yet but My mortgage stated they found nothing wrong. The violations GF01-RESPA,GF02-RESPA,AD13-GLBA,and -UD09-The FTC. I have the audit papers but can't seem to get help. Please guide me in the right direction.

I started home loan modification process last year in the month of June/2009 due to being laid off. I always called wells fargo and supplied updated documentation when asked. I only received one call from them asking me if I wanted to stay in the home and always my answer was and still is yes. They never modified my home loan and therefore this resulted in my house being foreclosed on.

Gave documentation they asked for then denied modification. Re-filed for loan modification but foreclosed and THEN denied loan mod. Never talked to the same person twice in a year. Just kept going forward with foreclosure even while saying they wanted to keep us in our house.

Wells Fargo asked for documentation: hardship letter, etc...which I sent time and time again. They keep losing my information and have never spoken to me about where we are in the process. All the while their lawyers are moving ahead with foreclosure. They lack integrity.

I have been with Wells Fargo for six years. For the past two years I have been working with them to try and keep my house. They told me to do certain things and then I would be qualified for a program and then they would call and tell me that I was not qualified that the person I talked to gave me incorrect information. I feel that they have given me the run around time and time again. I would not recommend this mortgage company.

They won't work with you,If they do it's putting you in a worse situation to a point that if you mess up one more time "you're out". We've been told over the phone "You can't even afford your house..You might as well give it up".They don't give you options of where to go to get help. I had to figure it out myself, realizing I have a FHA loan. Finally we went to The Housing Authority FHA/HUD (Grayslake Illinois 60030)and was told by Helena Walls(no longer there)that they suppose to work with us due to us having an FHA loan. She put a lot of effort in our case--She found out they was holding on to our escrow when the mortgage could have been paid (at least 3 months)In our time of trouble and charging us late fees--another time they did the same thing and had us in foreclosure without any notification, and we got our legal representatives involved then they said they were sorry and cleared matter up (again holding our escrow). The thing we learn about owning a house IT'S SO LEGAL !!! and a lot legal terms and contracts that come with it. I guess if you don't know FOR sure the servicer(WELLS FARGO) won't say a word and you can lose out. Our last closing was done at a pizza place in Waukegan Illinois,60085 with a Notary. We got NO COPIES of our closing papers until JAN 26 2010 ---we did the closing on 8 26 2009--It was suppose to 8-24-2009.I know that ain't right. Just the notary,me, and my husband. Why couldn't we do it at The Title place down the street---She(the notary)wanted to come to our house!!!No appraisal,no lawyers ,no any body else. Sir ,Ma'am We want our house!!!!!!!!!!!But just as well I wish someone would look deeper into the way it was done. I know we did what we needed to do to save our house without no more threats ,but if it was done wrong I hope it could be addressed to a higher authority through FHA/HUD. I don't think anybody should be done this kind of way. Please help us at this point. I have tons of paperwork from the beginning to the end and can also attach them to an e-mail address as well as copy and paste. Names,Numbers, and WELLS Fargo. I hope you can assist us in keeping our home that we worked so hard to keep for 15 years. Anything else you need (proof)I got it or can dig up with out a problem. Marshall & Janice Garrett 1-847-263-9813 (Home)Call any time PLEASE or leave us with a call back number and WE will return it ..It's not fair to us..I know we are not alone. Thank You

My insurance and property taxes are included in my mortgage payment. They had failed to pay the property taxes several different times over the last six years. They don't pay the yearly premium on my home owners insurance so it gets cancelled then we get a letter that we are paying for insurance through Wells Fargo cause we don't have any hazard coverage.

Everyone treats you with customer courtesy so that is not the issue here. Making sure I understood everything that was going on is another. They didn't explain that if I wasn't approved for the loan modification I'd owe all the money saved during the forbearance period or that it would affect my credit. I am so angry after 3 years of perfect payments - they are messing me up. What do they have to say - what a usual representative can say - I'm sorry and they proceed with their processes - I'm just another number. Each time I called - someone had something different to say. No one could comment - seems there is no one in real decision making authority and yet everyone has the authority to make the decisions in how they leave you hanging. Angie

I applied with Wells Fargo Financial to refinance my home in November and never heard from them. In December Wells Fargo began the process to restructure my mortgage and so far I have had to refill out the financial summary 6 times. They have had me refill out everything over and over again and I also was told to hold off payments till the restructure agreement is in place. In the meantime their loss mitigation department calls my work every day, several times a day. I have caller ID. They call and hang up, call and hang up. Once a day someone will actually come on the line and they ask me the same questions every day. I have finally reached the end of my rope with them and am looking into bankruptcy because I have no other way to resolve the debt since they appear to no be willing to work with me in a professional manner. The prank phone calls are annoying to say the least. I have asked them several times not to call me at work but they just keep doing it! I really think the government needs to take a look at the way Wells Fargo is operating in such an illegal manner. They are not supposed to call folks at work if they have been asked not to. Consumers are supposed to be able to ask them to not call at work and then the consumer can advise their acceptable manner of communication which can be via the mail and no phone calls. Wells Fargo operates in an illegal manner and should be investigated.

I absolutely agree with the person that left a comment under "Ratings bad". Wells Fargo is the worst one in my opinion to deal with, and I honestly believe that they really don't care whether or not someone loses their home. What is really bad is you can not walk into their bank and talk to and deal with someone face to face on an important matter as saving your home. Instead you only get to call their 800/888 numbers and talk to a rep. and each time you call you get a different Rep. The reps tell you different things and all they have to go by is what the rep. before them wrote/Typed in your file. I'm sorry but my home is very important to myself and my son and I do not want to lose it. But going through a time like this and doing everything I can to save our home the last thing I want to do is talk to someone on the phone that doesn't have a clue and apparently NO HEART!!!

They are the world's worst in helping someone out when they are doing everything in their power to pay their mortgage. They say they want to help but when it comes down to it they say one thing and do the opposite. They promise things are resolved and everything is ok, then try to take your home and money.

they are not a good company to deal with. even in a bad situation, they say they want to help, but don't. they don't allow partial payments even if its more than 75%, which I understand is normal, but my situation has been a snowball effect, and we even tried to get the ex husband off the mortgage, and attempted to bring things current using my current husbands income, etc. this was not an option, due to having the bankruptcy. and in talking to 25 different people during the past 3 days, I've been given 25 different and conflicting stories. very frustrating.

I have never been late on my mortgage payments in the eight years that I have owned my home. In 2009 my daughter and myself were hospitalized several times, each, for up to a week at a time, each, for different medical reasons. My daughter almost died and fortunately we didn't loose her. However, we had trouble paying our mortgage payment. So I contacted Wells Fargo and talked to them about a loan modification. We started the process in June of 2009. We made our payments on our mortgage through July of 2009. Then in August, Wells Fargo told me not to make the mortgage payment because they were modifying the loan. So I didn't make a payment, but I called them once a week, each time they told me not to make a payment, that everything was going good with my modification. Then the end of September they sent out my modification. They wanted me to pay more than DOUBLE what we were paying before, which made no sense at all. After talking to them, I found out that they had our income wrong, and they thought that we made twice what we actually made in a months time. So it started all over again, and once again they told me not to make the payments, as they were modifying my loan again. I called every week, sometimes twice a week and I got the same answer from Wells Fargo, the Loan Officer said, "Everything is going well, we have a lot of modifications right now, so we are running a bit behind. We are looking at it right now though, and we should know by the end of the month." I reply, "Okay, if you're sure, because I cannot loose my home, I have six children and one is an infant. I just can't loose my house!", the Loan Officer, GIGGLES, & says "You're not going to loose your home, everything is fine, don't worry." To that, I say,"Ok, well should I at least make my regular payment?" the Loan Officer says "Oh, no! Don't send us any money because it probably won't end up in your account, with your account being pulled right now & my manager going over it, it is very easy for your payment to not process on your account. So we always tell our customers who are modifying their loans to not send in any payments, until the new payment is set." To that I say "Okay, if you're sure about that, because I really cannot afford to loose my home! Can I continue to call you at least once a week until this process is finished?" Then the Loan Officer says "Of COURSE you can call once a week! You can call anytime to check up on your modification!" To that I thank her or him & we hang up. The following week I call & get basically that same conversation. Only with a different word here or there, words that meant the same exact thing as the other word. The above conversation is a quote. Also, every time I ask them if everything is ok, because I cannot loose my home, the loan officer giggles or chuckles! EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! So, I guess they find people loosing their homes a funny thing! I, for one, cannot believe how lightly they take these modifications. These are peoples homes! Not something to giggle about, when talking about foreclosing on their homes! It is a week before Christmas & I have been notified twice in two days now, to call this 1-800 number to find out when we have to be out of our home!!! I have SIX children, it's Christmas in Colorado, & so it's bitter cold, & they're wanting to throw us out on the street!!! What am I going to do??? I thought everything was fine! I had no idea that they were going to sell my home on December 4th 2009! I am so scared, I don't know where we're going to go. All because Wells Fargo wasn't truthful, never sent me anything about foreclosing & selling in December! I have lost my home of eight years & they just think it's a laughing matter. I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else. BE CAREFUL!!!

practically everything I've read here is true. I am shocked at how the President's help means nothing to them. Talk to different people and all of them tell you something different. I actually was told 'not' to make a payment. Now received a demand letter from attorney. Waiting on person in Hamp Fulfillment Center at Wells to get back to me. I have left 4 messages, because I was told she was the one that had my paperwork. These companies need bigger incentive to re-instate loans rather than foreclose them and use them as write-offs for their 2009 income taxes. That's all these homes are to them. A huge 'loss' tax write-off. How much you want to be that come January 2nd, they miraculously are able to help the remaining customers? Tax year is over then. We need Obama's help in forcing them to help us. Please, please....please!!!!

The reason that I say poor is because you get a different answer every time you call you can never speak to the same person. I applied for a loan modification, it was approved the package was mailed to me it contain 3 documents that were the same. I signed and sent the package back to them. I called the company and was then told that there was a $4000 (attorney, etc fee). The company sent me another package which included different documents and a demand for the 4000 which was due 5 days after I received the second package. If I had that kind of money laying around I would pay my mortgage.

Wells Fargo hates single moms and displaces children. Not one late payment and won't even do my application because I collect employment benefits and have no Qualifying Income. The concept totally contradicts the reasoning for helping homeowners and the FHA's website. No HOPE for single moms with Wells Fargo should your husband leave you after you lose your job. That's cool, I'm highly employable and I will live in the overpriced apartment and budget for luxury items like food and toilet paper which I can't collect food stamps on because I Make to much money to qualify. Momma bears don't like it when you mess with our babies. Wells Fargo rep got mad and chided me for crying because I have no income. Bail this. Wells Fargo lied to us. When I called and told them I would be late with our payment, they said "no problem, we are willing to work with you," and then they promptly tried to put the home we have been paying on for 7 years into foreclosure. We never did "not" pay, we were just running behind a bit. Our bankruptcy attorney told us "they are sneaky" and that Wells Fargo does NOT really care about us. He said that the people who negotiate with you over the phone are nothing but Call Center workers who do not even have the authority to enforce any verbal agreements. What we should have done was gotten Wells Fargo to send us something in writing to sign stating it was okay for us to work out a "being late" agreement. We simply took them at their word. Also, Wells Fargo charges a $20.00 fee to pay your mortgage over the phone, AND a $35.00 fee for being late. We never thought they would try to foreclose on our home since they only too gladly accepted our late fee. We thought it was a non-issue. It clearly was.

Wells Fargo employees either know absolutely nothing about the process or "lie" to you to get you to say and do things that benefit Wells Fargo. No, I am not generalizing. I am simply stating facts from my experience with their "Customer No Service". Occasionally I spoke with a "nice" person, but now I wonder if these were also "plants" to give the false impression that Wells Fargo has some "Humans" working for them. When we fell behind on our payment, we contacted them and asked for "loan modification". They requested this paper, that paper, this budget and that proof, while promising to "work with us". Next we received a notice from an attorney that the house is up for sale within 30 days. Wells Fargo was going forward with the foreclosure while they were "pretending" to work with us. This went on for 3 months. I no longer believe anything they say. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Company engaged in numerous tactics to deceive me, kept diverting me to other offices and refused to provide me with names and contact information of senior officers in the company. CEO John Stumpf is either unaware of or complicit with these tactics. Either way, he's culpable. Meanwhile, according to Forbes Magazine, Stumpf's total 2008 compensation was $13,782,433.00

Mainly because they promised a loan Modification & then took it back after agents confirmed that it was okay and completed then kicked back our check. The agents told me that it would not be placed in foreclosure and that they were working out everything not to have homes given back but they owned to many homes already. I believe they main reason they are taking homes back that are FHA mainly because it will be the government that will suffer and repayment will be given to back to them.

Wells Fargo uses scare tactics, uses diverting tactics when calling or faxing. Does not call the consumer, or send an email or a letter when there was a problem. I was told they could not read the income and expense sheet we sent. And had already determined we did not qualify. But in fact we do. They created the problem on there own being selfish and negligent. In the past my brother had done credit reorganization and was paying those credit companies. A year later he got a loan with Wells Fargo because he had CD in his Wells Fargo account, thus the bank gave him a loan based upon his savings account. Then 1/2 year later they saw that he had reorganized his credit cards, years in advance of getting the Wells Fargo. When they saw that he had been paying for several years on his reorganized credit, Wells Fargo emptied all his money from his checking and savings account and his checks began to bounce. He later contacted an attorney it took him 3-4 months before he got all his money back from Wells Fargo because they did illegal dealings. He was not notified prior to the money being taken from his savings account. That was illegal. Watch out for that bank, they do not inform the client prior to causing the problem, and the problem gets bigger and bigger. Therefore, I myself had to stop the foreclosure that never was to happen. Oh darn, they will now hear from my attorney and they will then pay the attorney fees for this notorious failure and they will also correct my credit score. I hope this never happens to others. I will now close my Wells Fargo account and never do my business with them. I have found another bank last year and developing my roots, then I will close Wells Fargo,

They drag this out for 4-5 months making you even more behind because whiel they are "working with the investors" more house payments are due,cuz it takes so dang long and they wont accept any payments drom you,As they put it "it will interfer with the process, and the investors are aware that you are not making payments',per there request' Once your approved for a loan mod, your so far behind, and they present you with crazy terms, for them to make money off you!! So now you either have to agree to the crazy terms, or they are sending you into foreclosure!!! Dont do it people it is some sort of scam!! They dont care anymore, they got bailed out!! DONT TRUST THEM

I was 3 months behind they put me on a loan mod that raised my payment from 1666.00 to 3,000 for three months then after that they said I still had a past due balance of 7,000 they said since I mad teh 3,000 payments for the 3 months that I now qualified for a real loan modification, they told me they would work with the investors and the 7,000 would be rolled to the back of the poan and my payment would only go up 75-250. They told me not to make any payments, just wait for the laon mod papers to come to me, it took 5 Months for them to send out teh papers, and durring those 5 months they told me not to make any payments-they would be returned to me because I had a 7,000 past due balance, so each month I kept calling and they kept saying call back in 2 weeks. At the end when the investors finally agreed my past due balance was 19,000!!! They wanted to raise my payment from 1666 to 3500 till 2010!!!! I called back and said you were teh ones telling me not to pay!! They said my only option was to sign the papers and get them back as soon as possible, if I disagreed they would send me to forclosure!!! They thought they were going to get me when i was done, I told them tehy were nuts if they thought I would pay 3500.00 till 2019 to roll in the 18,000 past due, do the math they would be making a killing off me. I was lucky enought to get the cash together and pay them, I think they thought they had me but I am the one laughing now, they are a JOKE!! Dont think they will will work with you, they dont care now they got bailed out, they want to forclose on houses that have a lot of equity, they figured "we will jack teh payments up, they will pay down the balcance even more, and eventually they wont beable to keep up with the hefty payment and we will get the house!! The origination process was simple, easy and professional. as long as you have the money, you are a good client. but as soon as we fell on hard times, i felt that they were no longer regarding us as humans in dire need, but rather just an account that was past due. they are not willing to help us modify our loan... not even as much as to just pay interest for a couple years while we straighten everything out. at this point i feel that they do not want to help people stay in their homes....it saddens us a great deal.

Starting with the purchase of my home, I was told I would receive a fixed rate then was rushed to sign the papers and ended up with a variable rate. My mortgage has gone up almost $200/month since purchased in 2002. Then when I had to change my employment and my husband was laid off, I got the run around when seeking help to adjust my payments, being told they couldn't help me because our debt outweighed our income. Why do they think we were asking for help? We finally broke down and asked our church to help us make a large enstalment payment for a forbearance agreement with the morgage company in August. We having been making our scheduled payments since. I noticed that our October payment hadn't cleared the bank yet and called to find out what happened. The very harsh woman on the other end of the phone told me that our payment was late getting to their office due to a delay in mail, so our agreement was null and void. I asked her what I could do, she told me there was nothing that could be done.

The entire time I have had the loan even from applying for it I have received different answers of what is expected. Their departments do not communicate from each other. For example I started a short sale application and decided to rent the home. They stated if I rent the home I could set up payments to take care of the past due balance in the meantime make regular monthly payments. I received a letter stating my app for short sale was closed per my request and things were back on track. Then I received a letter stating that they started foreclosure.

In the last months of 2006, me and the gentlemen from a company that try to help you save your house tried to contact this company and to no avail time went by and the only contact that we got was from their lawyer demanding that I pay the whole $87,000 that was owed on the loan. They wanted a balloon payment of which I could not afford. They took me to landlord tenant court in December of 2007 and I had to be out January 18, 2008. Mice got under the siding on the house into the roof and the basement had flooded and I had to get that fixed. They would not contact me so I ended up moving out of the house. I hear the crooks in Detroit has stole everything off of the house and what was left in the house. They are not a good company and I reccomend that who ever have them to get rid of them. The company that refinanced my home was Fremont Mortgage company and the guy that did my loan knew what he doing when he came to my house late for me to sign papers. He knew that I would not have the time to read those papers even though he said to read them. It was a variable rate and not a fixed rate of which a good agent would have done being that I was a single mother and the only one paying that mortgage. So, I rate them 0.

Called to see if they would work with us when my husband lost his job in May 2008,at that time we were current and they said to call back on the15th of the month and see what they could do then. The woman we spoke to on the 15th was rude! She told my husband there was nothing they could do that we need to decrease our monthly expenses and increase our income!Really it is not like we are unaware of our situation, my husbands unemployment check and my paycheck only go so far that is why we were asking for them to work with us she told him, well sir you could let your house go into foreclosure! I am pretty sure that is what we are trying to avoid by calling and asking them to work with us.I have disliked Wells Fargo from the very start, but REALLY dislike them after this. Problem is that I end up talking to different person each time to arrange payment and get told different things. They claim not to receive letters by regular mail, and only acknowledge receipt when I remind them I sent certified mail and have proof of delivery. Not helpful and get too many calls from collectors at bank who cannot tell me status of negotiations. Claim not to know what is going on with Loss Mitigation dept. Sometimes I get a nice agent, most times get a very rude one. Have been hung up on twice. Once told them I will record calls to ensure no more misunderstandings and was told they cannot talk to me in that case.

I discovered in papers the court ordered them to produce they had nearly 3 years of payments held in a "suspense" account. They were ordered to post the payments to the original date paid. It has been 16 months since the court order and still waiting. So I will probably be taking them back to court.

The one time I was late on a payment it was not my fault. I hold Wells Fargo responsible for messing up my almost perfect credit. I will never use Wells Fargo again in the future!

by GM From Pitman, NJ on July 14, 2008
WF told us we were behind on our mortgage payments but could never tell us exactly how much. Every time we called they told us something different. They would give us one forebearance agreement and then change it the next month. We finally had to hire an attorney who told us not to sign ANY agreement with them. He could not believe how incompetent they are. I believe they are incompetent AND dishonest. We never had a problem with our mortgage until they took it over. Avoid them at all costs.

by Anonymous From Austin, TX on July 09, 2008
We have been trying for 4 months to get a ARM Modification with Wells Fargo, they let your paperwork sit in their mail room forever sometimes a month or more before they assign it to a case worker. Their loss mitigation reps. all give you different information, no two are the same. they don't want to hear your problems. Customer service is basically horrible. They say they have options, but not willing to make them available to customers. Make it more complicated. No one seems to be able to give you answers, nor wants to.

I gave my opinion earlier, they are the devil in man's clothing. I have never talked to someone so rude, they will tell you they do no care what you have to say, either listen or they will hang up, up hang ladybug. They are the worst, I have never never seen the whole group that way, there were 3 people, 2 guys and 1 lady and the lady told me to hang up on the ones that talked to me like I was trash, I did not deserve it so do not take it. Her and those 2 guys, love them, yep loved them.

Every person you talk to tells you something different. You're told to submitt forms, and wait 3-6 wks. You call them in 6 weeks and they haven't gotten to your application yet. Tell you to submitt different forms to move your app. faster and wait another 4-6 wks. You call them again, and then they say that can't apply until your motgage is current, even though they said in the begin that we were eligible even though we weren't current. The ONLY good thing they have done so far is to accecpt one month payments even though we are behind more then that.

I don't understand. They don't appear to really want to help you get back on track at all & certainly do not explain things very well to use.

not helpful at all!! they establish unrealistic terms and make it impossible to get a repayment plan without fronting a large sum of money! Don't they realize that if I had a large sum of money that I wouldn't be behind on my mortgage payments?

We've never had to contact them before this. I did contact based on a news program suggeting struggling homeowners try to work negotiate and owrk out issues they may have. Wells Fargo has asked me to write a harship letter, give them a list of our monthly finances, and other info in order to determine if they might modify the loan to lower payments. In searching for an example of a hardship letter, I found this website. We have spoken to an attorney and have retained Phillips & Assoc. in order to file a chapter 13 but are reluctant to give up our home in this.

Told by Rob Talley at VA he feels Wells is purposely defaulting hoping the VA will step in. They refuse to pass callers on to previous reps, refuse to fax documents to customers, and refuse to send their copy of contact info. Reps are unhelpful and sarcastic. Told by VA rep each Wells rep gets $400 dollars for working on a loan...no wonder they won't transfer us to a previous rep. Also, told by Rob Talley their is a program of stored info on mortgage notes called "VALERIE". He checked under our account and NO notes availible. Wells is deliberatly dumping accounts! How many people must suffer until something is done?

Will not talk to me, make mistakes and will not take responsibility, refuse all reason, and their Branch Manager called for over an hour, trying to find my loan to see what was going on, and even he could not get through. He was hung up on, transfered time and time again, and could not find anyone who could give him any information. He was finally given a fax number to send documents and it was the wrong number. Worst customer service EVER!! I was speaking with a woman yesterday who simply hung up on me in mid sentance and we (the branch manager) had to call her back, and the 1st lady was 'unavailable' so we had to start over with 'brad', then he was cut off, and during the 3rd call, (each time we had to start from scratch) I was asked repeatedly how much of a down payment I had. That made no sense to me or the manager. She then informed me I had been turned down for financial help due to the fact I had no down payment. The home has been in my name since 1985 and is worth $300,000.00, the original loan was only $70,000.00 -- I only need $5557 to get the house out of foreclosure, why would I need a down payment?? I have proof EVERY PAYMENT WAS MADE ON TIME AND IN FULL!
