"SHAME on the US Government" for ALLOWING this company to ever exist. You CANNOT talk to anyone who speaks/understands the English language. Everything appears to be read from a script. They even call non-stop and when you answer the phone....they say nothing. They REPEATEDLY send the same documents in triplicate, stately that they have not received your submitted paperwork/documents. Well... YES THEY DID! They submit to you NONE of the documents that YOU ARE REQUESTING (over and over) FROM THEM. What a total embarrassment for the US Housing/Mortgage Industry. SHAME!! SHAME!!

THIS IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE, I HAVE NEVER DELT WITH A COMPANY OF THIS CALIBUR, OCWEN BOUGHT MY LOAN FROM LITTON LOANS ....I HAVE 2 LOANS 1 ST AND A 2ND I WAS NOT PAST DUE ON MY 1 ST BUT IN ORDER TO GET THE LOAN MODE I HAD TO BE 3 MONTHS BEHIND ON MY 2ND IN ORDER FOR LITTON LOANS TO LOAN MODE, THEY SOLD THE LOAN TO OCWEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LOAN MODE, OCWEN EXPLAINED I WAS 8 MONTHS LATE ON BOTH LOANS , KNOW 1 SPOKE PROPER ENGLISH THEY ASK ME TO DO A DEED AND LIEU AND TO SHORT SELL MY HOUSE AFTER I SENT CONFIRMATION THAT 8 MONTHS WAS FALSE, HORRIBLE YEESSHHA KNOW 1 SPEAKS ENGLISH , I HAD 1 OF THERE REPS TELL ME I HAD EQUITY IN MY HOME AND ITS 268% LTD .. UPSIDE DOWN...THEY LEFT MY PAYMENTS AT WESTERN UNION NEVER EXPRESSED THEY THEY WERE THERE , TOOK MY PAYMENTS AND ATT. THE BIGGER PAYMENT TO THE SMALLER PAYMENT THAN ATT. SMALLER PAYMENT TO THE BIGGER PAYMENT AND SAID I DIDNT PAY THE CORRECT AMOUNT... THIS IS JUST WRONG EVERYTIME THEY MAKE AN APPT 3 WEEKS THAN THE PHONE HANGS WHEN THEY CALL , THEY JUST HANG UP IM DOING EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO FILE SUIT....I CANT TAKE IT... LITTON SOLD THESE LOANS FOR A LITTLE OF NOTHING THATS WHY THEY ARE FORCING PEOPLE OUT OF THERE HOMES , BECAUSE THEY PAYED NOTHING FOR THE HOMES IM NOT GOING OUT WITHOUT A FIGHT...WRITE LETTER 2 THE MORTGAGE DIVIONS SO THEY CAN GET SMAKED THEY CANT AND WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS!

Was with Litton Loan, was screwed over by them for two years and eventually it went to court and was dismissed by the judge...I was told my loan was dismissed as well as charged off. Then my loan was apparently sold to Ocwen. I didn't even know, no-one notified me. Once I found out that Ocwen had my account, I called them to find out what is going on. The first rep pulled the "your in the foreclosure state" and need to remit payment asap. The second person I spoke to said that I needed to Modify. The third person I spoke with informed me that I was charged off and although it was a debt, it was not in foreclosure, because it had already been written off as a tax write off with Litton, Ocwen has bought the loan to try and settle for a lesser amount to collect for Litton. Now why the heck would I pay someone who's only going to give a portion to the person who screwed me to begin with, and on top of that...IT SEEMS ILLEGAL FOR THEM TO FORECLOSE ON ME AFTER ANOTHER COMPANY HAS GAINED FUNDS AS A TAX RIGHT OFF ON MY PROPERTY, for another company to try and collect on it. Isn't like them getting paid twice??? ANYWAY, CAN THEY FORECLOSE ON MY PROPERTY IF THE FIRST BANK THAT FILED SUIT AGAINST ME HAS BEEN DISMISSED AND IT'S CHARGED OFF???

After hearing all of this i am scared to death for my situation. This piece of crap company bought my loan a year ago and haven't been paying the taxes on one of my parcels so we informed them that it was going to tax sale over a year ago well as you can guess we received a letter saying it has been sold. Now after hearing over a dozen times that they are reviewing the situation and will contact me in 4 to 5 business days i am stuck. If i could get a hold of someone who can speak english i would really tell them what i think. So not sure what to do next except contact my lawyer.

starno starno starno starno star by Anonymous From Columbus, OH on January 11, 2012

Ocwen is the WORST company out there. They bought out loan from Litton while we were in the middle of a short sale. Didn't honor that sale. So, we started the process over. Long story short after denied short sale because they never could find documents i finally sent the docs via certified mail and they accepted the short sale. Now, Ocwen is not listed on the chain of title so the closing can't happen. How can they threaten to foreclose on my home when they aren't even on the chain of title. And of course, no one there can tell me who has the title. The customer service rep all but told me their business is to foreclose on properties. They are a scam and should be outlawed in the US.

I have had medical issues in the past with other mortgage companies, and was always able to work out a reasonable agreement, but the amount they are asking for is enough to put me out of my home. They are the worst, took them over a year to do a loan mod, as the people in India kept losing the paperwork, apparently not smart enough to keep it all together. Then once we did the mod and everything was done, they did not may my prop taxes or insurance like they should have! Now, I am in 'default' on my mod, so, they will probably take the house. Fortunately I have done NO improvements to the house in the past 2 years I have been fighting with them, so they really won't want the house back. I would suggest that ALL of you contact your US Senators and Reps about Ocwen, numbers count, and if 10,000 people complain, it will be noticed how they cheat people. I would also contact the House committee on financial services, the financial institutions and consumer credit members specifically, calling them doesn't take much time, and complain about Ocwen, ask them how to file a formal complaint. Do NOT stop complaining to elected officials, the BBB, the Attorney General of your state, etc, especially if they are foreclosing on you with no notice!

well, I tried to post here...not sure how long it takes, but I am not going to repost my long story. All I can say is if you get a call from 1-866-549-9190 it is National Union Fire Ins Co Pittsburgh PA. You can call them directly @ 1-212-770-7000 and complain about OCWEN ruining their business by trying to make people take their insurance. This is the company they are trying to PUSH you into buying their Insurance, although you already have insurance.

starno starno starno starno star by Harassed From Glen Burnie, MD on May 13, 2011

Lol...they called me AGAIN the other day and said it was about "your payment is late". I told him we were not behind on our payment, and asked if they got my last payment. he said "I am not sure, let me check. Give me a minute to get into our system". I laughed, and said "you don't know if I am even late, do you?". He said "no, let me check". After months of being harassed by OCWEN trying to sell us some other insurance, I finally went to their site and submitted a complaint. We have asked over and over and over again to be removed from their call list, because we didn't want to buy anything. Below is their response: _________________________ The Office of the Consumer Ombudsman for Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC (Ocwen) would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your recent email regarding the above reference loan. The Consumer Ombudsman was created to provide Ocwen's customers with a resource to assist with unresolved concerns and issues. We are sorry to hear of any unsatisfactory experience you may have had with Ocwen. Ocwen strives to provide each customer with the utmost in customer care and professionalism. In order to keep our borrowers informed of the products and services that may be beneficial, Ocwen allows several third (3rd) party companies to include promotional information with the Account Statements or to make marketing calls. If the borrower obtains any of the products or services, Ocwen is able to include the premium payment with the mortgage payment for the convenience of the borrower. As a consumer, you have the right to decline the services that are offered to you. How you may have agreed to this specific product or service depends on the specific vendor. Sometimes if you request information regarding a product or service, by not subsequently responding to the vendor to decline their offer, you automatically accept the product or service coverage. Pursuant to your e-mail, we have updated our records to cease all the solicitation calls to your attention. _________________________ my response back was to email them back. In my email I told them that I had blocked their number. The end result...lol...they called from another number at just after 8pm last night. This company calls every day 1 -2 times daily. It got to the point where at 8:02 am I would simply pick up the receiver and then hang it up. There is a class action lawsuit against this company, just type it into your browser and contact the attorney ASAP, because it is going to Court this month. Also, they do not have the right to contact you to sell you anything, although they think they can. Go to the National Do Not Call Registry and file a complaint. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I am really tired of their calls. My next step is to change my phone number that I have had for the past 13 years.

Ocwen is the worst! My wife and I lost our jobs, we tried for a loan modification and were told that we can't because of a 3rd party lender. No one to date can tell me who this is. In fact today I was told they don't know who it is either. I have scoured through all our mortgage papers and still can't find who this is. Now comes the kicker, My wife and I decided that we would stay in our home until they foreclosed on us. My last payment was 4/30/10. We are still in our home! We are now both back at work and I called today to try to work something out that would work for both of us. I was told I could either pay the 18,000 I am behind and then start making my monthly payments or We could short sale. UNBELIEVABLE. This is what they said a year ago! All we want is to keep our home and Have an affordable payment. And they say they want to help.

This company uses delay tactics to charge up more late fees and they run out of a calling center in India which means that you cannot talk to a person who knows anything about your loan- there is no continuity. The modification process is a joke- they continually ask for more documents to be faxed with no results. My interest rate is 7.75% on a 30 year mortgage and I make 38,000/ year. I can afford my monthly payment, but not all the late fees and charges.

They are very poor when it comes to trying to working something out. The one time they did give me a break to get back on track, I realized the payment was more. That put me even more into default and it was an uphill struggle since then. You can never get a reason why they don't want to help. They are very blunt and they don't want any partial payment. They add a tremendous amount of fees onto the payments as well. They are not very sympathetic to the times or your situation at all.

OCWEN WILL STEAL YOUR HOUSE WHILE YOU ARE WORKING ON THE LOAN MODIFICATION. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM FOR A SINGLE SECOND. In March, I was in a serious accident and my payment began to be slow in May my doctor took me completely out of work, resulting in a decrease in income. I contacted Ocwen in June to try to work out a modification, which they told me they would. I sent financial papers and a hardship letter in. At that point, with no response for about a month. I attempted to search someone to help find out the status but I was unable to reach anyone to help me. I reached people who could not speak understandable English most of the time, many of them from India. I was told that no papers had been received. I re-faxed the papers requesting a response that they were received, which I never got, I called the same number and got another Indian who was very difficult to understand who told me there was no record of my information and to re- submit it and he would return my call. I re-faxed the papers but I did not receive a call back. I got involved with a third party to help me get through the jungle of non-English speakers and deceptions. In that process, I ended up losing my home, a home that was my parents. I found out that the third party was a scam company through my State Attorney General's office. I also filed complaints with the Commissioners of Banking and the Federal Trade Commission. It took me approximately two week to find that my home was with Ocwen' s REO Department. After a lengthy process of non-English speaking people and disconnects, and unanswered voice mails, I finally spoke with a gentleman who appeared to want to help me buy back my home. I had 2 buyers and the buyers nor I had been able to reach anyone for the last 15 days. I have called numerous people in the REO department; I have e-mailed each of those persons; I even called the CEO of Ocwen with no response. I had resorted to contacting their attorneys, who gave me the same names and numbers, and admitted that Ocwen was a very difficult company to communicate with; I had had three different agencies attempting to help me get through this communication web. Ocwen had presented the pretense of assistance but because of their terrible customer service and communication process, they set people up for failure. I think I have experienced almost every trial of all the previous reports. This company is very dangerous to the consumers. I did everything, plus some, that I was told to try to save my home but there appeared to be no one to receive the efforts and they have just waited their time to force me to leave. This is very frustrating and disheartening, less mentioning the unfairness of their practices and services. This company should not be allow to hurt anyone else especially in North Carolina. Note: I have a home, that is a rental property, with another company, and that company resolved the issues, which were the same, on my rental home in less than 1 day.

Ocwen is TERRIBLE. They are rude, arrogant and simply not helpful. They sent me an escrow statement (that I asked for 3 times) due to the fact that they raised my mortgage payment nearly $200 due to an "escrow shortage." I am familiar with how this works and even after reviewing the report, I still do not find it to be accurate. They CLAIM I had an escrow shortage with my last mortgage company before it was sold to them (not true). I am currently refinancing - anyone who can should go online and find a site that compiles 2-3 new mortgage lenders for you.

Due to financial difficulties I was unable to modify my home and I am currently short selling it. The buyer is all ready to go but unfortunately we are held up, waiting for ocwen to send us a release letter which we were supposed to receive June 16th and have yet to receive. Each time my realtor, mitigator or I call for the status of this letter we are told it has been emailed and we should expect it in 48 hrs. I find it very frustrating because when i ask why it takes so long i am told another dept is in charge of e-mails. 48 hrs comes and goes and still no email or fax. Not only that but it is hard to understand the reps which are working in india and Uruguay. I am speaking to way too many people that have no clue what is going on. I can never seem to speak to reps in the U.S. and am told they cannot transfer my calls to the states, never mind get an extensions from people i have spoke to. The other day i was speaking to a rep in india and he started to blow in the phone acting like it was bad reception on his end. I asked to speak to whoever was in charge of approving my short sale and was told I am not allowed to talk to them. Who do i talk to then that can actually answer my simple question? I am so confused because i am told my short sale is approved and the release letter will be sent out in 48 hrs but we receive nothing. I feel like Ocwen wants my home to go into foreclosure. I owe $200,000 and the buyer offered $180,000 which i think is fair so what is the hold up? The buyer is getting impatient and threatening not to sign another extension. Ocwen will get far less if the buyer withdraws and it is auctioned off. Ocwen really needs to be investigated and i am about ready to contact some news channels to put their asses on blast. My heart goes out to all those ocwen VICTIMS!

I too have been having nothing but trouble with this company--I started the process LAST May 2009, and it is still not resolved. After the usual "lost paperwork" excuse battle for several months, last Nov 2009, I got a call from Ocwen saying my loan mod had been approved at 2-3% interest rate, they just needed the financials page filled out, so I waited for them to send me that paperwork, and low and behold, a few weeks later, I got a REJECTION letter from them saying I was not in danger of foreclosure at the time, so did not qualify! WTH???? Then I applied again and again and again, got rejected for different reasons EACH time!! All by people from India you can't understand or don't seem to understand our language. Finally, in March 2010, I got loan mod from them and they actually RAISED my payment!! The gal in India who I talked to said she believed I could pay Ocwen MORE money rather than less---I am on disability income, facing major surgery, and I guess she feels I don't need to pay for electricity or heat or for food! It all should go to Ocwen! Now my mortgage payment is 42% of my income, and that doesn't include the small second mortgage I also have! This company needs to be SHUT DOWN! And their Prez, Ron Faris, needs to be arrested for lying to Congress, he lied to Dennis Kucinich's sub-committee hearing in Feb 2010. Call the White House, complain, call Kucinich, complain, call your elected reps, complain--oh yea, my US Senator has contacted Ocwen on my behalf due to the raising of my house payment, that was over 6 weeks ago, they have not bothered answering her yet! Talk about disrespectful!! Anyway, write the BBB, the Attorney General of your state and Florida, and keep calling complaints in every week about them, the squeaky wheels get greased, if 500 of us do this every week, imagine! And there is the FB page, rip-off report I believe it is called about Ocwen, join it, we need numbers, easy to join, I have!

OMG! Again, contacted by someone from India re my mortgage which I have been paying faithfully every month since my original mortgagor went bankrupt & Ocwen bought my loan. I am not a child and don't need big daddy calling me to remind me every single month!!! I did start a loan mod last year due to the fact that my home is now under water, but they said they needed more documents! I sent them everything they had asked for!! I really think they want my house. This is not a company that is helping people (and why the Fed Government gave them carte blanche for loan mods is beside me), but rather to build their business with foreclosed homes and build up their REIT business, not to mention their greed for their stock to go up. They could care less that they are destroying the lives of many families and throwing away the hard work of decent people. In a recent statement to our Government, Ron Faris said the good thing to do is to give principal reductions for the homes; however you can't even get a competent person to help with a loan mod! **Oh, and your loan has to be Fannie or Freddie from the US Government to be eligible for a hope for homeowners mod! In addition, there are certain criteria for principal reductions that aren't helpful at all *like you have had to have spent the money you borrowed to fix up your home, etc. Any other money is not eligible for a principal reduction. So exactly how many are going to be helped? Just more Business suits talking as usual. So sad that the USA has come to have to deal with companies such as this. If I had the chance, I would never do business with Ocwen but do hope that someone out there listens to all of us and does something soon; otherwise, this blob company will swallow all of our homes up.

Well I found these complaints and I mean there are TONS of them. It appears that Ocwen is NOT in the business of helping people. They are NOT out for BLOOD. They want to SWALLOW you Whole. This company appears to be the FINAL-SOLUTION. Ocwen appears to be at the BOTTOM of the Food Chain. When other companies feel that they are not going to make money on the loan they sell at a discount to OcWen and let them HANDLE YOU. Without question this appears to be a CROOKED COMPANY. OCWEN IS THE MOST VICIOUS SERVICING COMPANY EVER LANDED IN THE USA. THEY CLAIM THEY CARE ABOUT THE HOMEOWNERS. check this email from one of their representative. he is heartless and ruthless. all of them. i hope the ftc, ots, fcc and attorney general closes them down. Are you seriously submitting something like this to Ocwen when you were the one who originated your own in-house loan? This is a waste of our time. The supposed audit didn't even use the final TIL disclosure, so how can there supposedly be a violation. The handbook violation is not verifiable. We have the copies of the rescission notice. Our response is Ocwen intends on doing nothing about an audit that's full of fact less data, especially since we were not part of the origination process, but you were. At this point, if you do not agree to terms of a mod based on the financial data we have, I'm going to recommend we move forward with the foreclosure process. You have changed your income status too many times. You have not made a payment on this loan for 17 months. Please utilize Valerie's time wisely, as this has really gone on for too long. My husband lost his job in September 2008; I was laid off April 2009. My loan was with Taylor Bean & Whitaker before they went belly up and sold it to Ocwen. I have filled out four sets of loan modifications; the last one I faxed because they claimed they never got my emails with my electronic copies (yeah right), at a cost of a little over $55 (had to go to a copy place to send.) I too am told when I call in to check status that my paperwork is incomplete and they've tried to contact me. HA! And you don't even get to speak with an agent; instead, you just get sent to someone's voice mail box. God only knows what happens to it from there. And can anyone explain to me why they "appraise" my property every two months and then charge me for it?

My wife & I have already been through this nightmare with Ocwen that all of you are describing. We filed Chapter 7 because our credit was already ruined by Ocwen. . . not by us! Our payments were on time, but didn't get posted because of their people! I've never been one to fight back, until now! When we left our home we took every light fixture, light bulb, appliance, the door framing from which we have kept up with our kids height over the past 9 years.... we would of taken the trees, but have too much respect for them!! We dug up every bush from the yard and relocated them all. When we were done the value of the house depreciated by 30%. In other words they couldn't get near what the home was valued for their pathetic resale/auction. In the end THEY were the losers. We have no ties with these crooks now and life is getting better every day, but we will participate in any actions against this company that may come about in the future. I have printed out a book thus far of information off the internet re: Ocwen and will begin forwarding any new info I find to our lawyer. Our hopes are to intense our lawyer to file a class action lawsuit. The more information we can gather... the better. If you would like to share your story, please email me at: shutdown.ocwen@yahoo.com First name only please. We are in the beginning stages of this battle and do not want to jeopardize what any of you may be going through. THERE IS POWER IN THE HUMAN VOICE! I have nothing to lose by donating my time to try and help others fight against this company. We will be filing Chapter 7 next week. Our lawyer fee is $1800... a mild cost compared to what it will be if we keep our mortgage through Ocwen. Which BTW, we are stuck with Ocwen because NO ONE and I mean NO ONE wants to touch any loan associated with them. We didn't have a choice ... our loan was SOLD to them, as so many of you can relate! To quote my FIFTH GRADER, "How can they get away with going against the Constitution?" Yes, even my eleven year old can recognize a crook when she see's one! We chose to explain to our children what is going on to a certain extent. Kids know something isn't right when they're Daddy's cell phone rings and the people on the other end hang-up...OCWEN....EIGHT TIMES A DAY!! If you would like to add your two cents.... remember there is power in the voice and power IN NUMBERS!!! Thank You ~t&d

I cannot stand this company. OCWEN picked up my mortgage from SAXON. In any form possible they will try to bleed me dry. Now they claim I have lapses in my homeowner's policy which was a crock!! Then they charge me $557 for the time that I did not have and now they are pushing a homeowner's policy on me. At this point I think I would have better luck dealing with Bernie Madoff!!

For all of you wondering what will happen to your home if OCwen gets a hold of the mortgage- YOU'LL LOSE IT. State of Michigan Attorney General couldn't help- the Feds wouldn't. Imagine how I felt when I was a couple months away from deploying to Iraq again that my family was going to lose their home. Said I missed payments then signed a forbearance agreement (didn't do it- didn't know what it was) then said that I kept missing payments. We missed none nor were even late. I think the whole thing stemmed from using their automated system. Went downhill fast from there. I can't tell you how I feel- I spent over twenty years defending this country in four combat tours and for what? To get thrown out of my own home for no reason? I guess that doesn't matter since I'm just a little guy. Now I have to figure out how to house my family when I'll never be able to get another house again. I rank Ocwen right up there with the Taliban- INTERNATIONAL TERRORISTS (and should be dealt with accordingly. Sorry about your homes guys.

The worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with.....no one answers the phone....if you do get through be pressing different numbers and jumping through hoops your call is outsourced to India or Uruguay...they clearly do NOT understand you! OCWEN did not pay my insurance or taxes. Taxes were to be paid in Nov. they were paid in March because I called on a daily basis to the tax department. They finally paid insurance and made two different payments with two different amounts!! One month they were to send me around $2500 in extra escrow and the next month my payment goes up by $100.00???? How?? I know how but can't fix the problem because no one answers who speaks English. I have dealt with this company since Nov 09 after TBW went under, was with Cenlar for one month. I am finished stressing myself out with this mess!! I did file a modification through Cenlar and OCWEN told me I send wrong paper work....problem was they took 4 months to look at it so some paperwork had expired. I have read where there are Class Action Suits against OCWEN. Hence I am in the process of dealing with an attorney because OUR voices need to be HEARD!!

We have tried everything we can to remedy this situation. They have so many different departments that the letters and phone calls all say something different. They stopped taking our payments and could not explain why. They are not on the up and up. Recently they have called us and hang up when we answer so that they have a record of calling us. We have signed modification papers three times .the same paperwork.

Ocwen just bought my loan from Saxon mtg. in Dec. I made my payments for Dec. and Jan in Dec. I went to make my payment for February. I found out that my payment was not posted to my account, when I called to find out why they could not tell me, and said that it would be posted that day, I checked back a week later and the $ was still not posted so I called back to find out what was going on and they could not tell me, but said it would be posted that day, I checked back and it still was not posted and when I called to find out why they could not tell me so I asked for a 1800 # to call and complain, and complain and they told me that it would be taken care of that day, it was not taken care of that day, it was still not taken care of, when i call and asked for the president or ceo # they would not give the # to me. They finally fixed the problem. A month later a got a letter from them saying I have not paid my property tax yet and they were going to raise my payment up to pay the tax, when i call to find out what was going on they said that the property tax was from Jan. 2009, I told them that it was paid. and they said they do not have any info saying I paid it, and that they do not have all the info from Saxon mtg. I ask for the president # and the representative told me NO!!! so after yelling at him, he gave me to his boss, and his boss could not give me the president # so he said he would have his boss call me with the # when gets off the phone. still have not heard back from them. I have been promised many time that someone would call me back yet no one ever calls back, Ocwen has the worst trained representatives that any company could have. I will not make any more payments to Ocwen, told them they can take my house and shove it up there asses.

Our loan was sold to Ocwen when Taylor Bean and Whitaker went Bankrupt. Ocwen is the worst lender I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The modification offer they gave to us was higher than what we were paying before. We can't understand the logic behind their methods. They have to be making money off of foreclosures. We've been in default the last 12 months, they continue to be vague, unhelpful and just like the rest of you, we've had to resubmit our information more than once due to their incompetence. Our home value has dropped $200K. From a business stand point, doesn't it make sense to adjust the interest rate to keep us in the house rather than loosing a bundle of money by taking the auction route?! This company is as crooked as they come. It's unbelievable that a company in this country is allowed to exist.

I got a call from Ocwen a few months later and the lady asked to speak to, no kidding, Estate!!! I nearly dropped the phone laughing! I kept wondering why I had not heard anything on my load mod. I finally called on Friday and got a recorded message saying that my loan mod was missing information and that I was urged to talk to a rep. I pressed 9 to talk to a rep and I get some guy named Glen's voicemail box. I left a message. Still no call back. I went online and sent an email and have not heard back from it either. The recording said that they have been unable to contact me to tell me what documents are missing. My question is this, if I have my phone number and address listed with them, then how is it they cannot contact me? This company is ridiculous. Also their website sucks. Every time I try to do anything it errors out. Also, why do they charge you to pay online? I have spent the last year trying to get a loan modification through Ocwen but every week it's a different story or they lose the paperwork. I finally got my first approval in June but the guy told me I needed to make a payment I did and then the next guy told me that since I made the payment that voided the loan mod. So they had me go through the process again and I got approval for another loan mod. Did everything they asked, called in July and all was good. In September my statements etc had not reflected the loan mod and they said they never received the paperwork. I had to fax it to them and the fax got cut off. So instead of them researching it as they are paid to do they canceled the loan mod. It is now 2 months later and I have been waiting for my new approved loan mod paperwork which I have been told 5 times by 5 hard to understand people that I will receive it in 24 hours I have complained to the White House, OCC@Treas.gov, and the FTC. All are telling me to hire an attorney. Also their phone message says they won't file a NOD if you are working with them but they did so the lie too.

I have been dealing with Ocwen for 3 years now and it has only gotten worse. My husband lost his job last year, he was making over $30,000 per year and had to take a part-time job @ Wal-Mart making only $7 per hour. I tried to have the mortgage modified but Ocwen told me that based on my income alone I could afford the mortgage because it was below 30% of my income (gross income at that). Well yeah i can make the payment by myself if I was bringing home the gross income. I think anybody could make their payment if they were bringing in their gross income. I called Ocwen again this weekend because of a letter that I received from an attorney on their behalf I was told that they could not help me and I needed to eliminate some of my debt before they could help me. Not to mention I had just sent them a payment at the end of October. I am only 2 months behind but still struggling to get the people to help me.

But, be warned, I did that and they transferred me to their Spanish speaking representative. However, I said "I'm sorry, what was that?". The American representative then informed me that I got transferred to the Spanish speaking line. I am definitely glad that I did not hang up and just asked "I'm sorry what was that?".

I was just denied a payment reduction under the HAMP program. After four months of sending and re-sending paperwork that was lost, not signed, or not requested originally I was told that my current debt to income ratio "is already below 31%". I did some simple math that I was taught at SCHOOL and determined it was 40%. I asked for the paperwork or figures they used to make this determination. An OCWEN rep stated that I would have to resubmit all the financial paperwork that I had already submitted in order to get an answer why I did not qualify under government guidelines. I was given a contact number, which was a fax number. The rep told me that was the only was to get the answers I was looking for. I can't believe this is how a large business runs in this country. Moreover I am going to contact my Senator and Representative about this company. They have stalled me for numerous months thus accruing late charges that I cannot Catch up with at this time. It is a game to them. If anyone has a better phone number in America I would appreciate them posting it here. There has to be laws about doing business in America with a contract that was signed in America. I will continue to make payments even though I have been late for 7 months. They may just get what they want, a house valued at $150,000 that has a $180,000 first mortgage and a second mortgage of $20,000. I'll let them fight with Citi Mortgage if they cannot help me. I don't plan on having good credit for years so why hassle with them.

We got behind on our loan with Ocwen. They sent us a loan modification that would be a great deal to take advantage of . . lower interest rate and payment, with the amount behind rolled back into the loan. Good deal, we thought, so we jumped on it. We called in the down payment amount by the designated date and faxed the contract back to the number on the letter by the designated date. Now 3 months later, we are still fighting to get the modification to go through. Seems, they deducted $.10 (ten cents) less than the down payment amount from my bank account and it took them 5 days to "process" the paperwork, so we are out of luck, or so the INDIANS we are dealing with say. Too bad for us. Now they want to foreclose on our house because they say we are behind a little over $800 on the payments. We are buying a home from a friend who is financed through OCWEN. He was behind on his mortgage, and he moved out. We have taken over the loan, we send them payments, they call and say that they are putting a hold on our payment because our names are not on the account. We have called them several times trying to take care of this problem. They are the worst company ever. Someone needs to put them out of business. Please everyone that have been screwed call the BBB and have this company shut down.

Ocwen is the WORST bank we have ever dealt with. We spent HOURS on the phone trying to work out something and every time they would either hang up or keep us on hold for hours. They have lost all of our paperwork numerous times. They gave us an offer that was ridiculous and not at all a loan modification. I don't understand how this bank is still operating. Needless to say we are losing our home.

Would not talk to us about a loan mod until we were late on a payment. Got a lawyer to help us. They finally got a loan mod offer that could have worked if it weren't for the fact that our home was $300K underwater that in the 5 years the loan mod was for, we'd wind up in the same position at the end of the 5 years. Worked on a short sale that within a week Ocwen went form wanting $245K to $345K. The lawyers finally got Ocwen to agree to the $285K offer, but Ocwen wanted it closed in 3 days and would not agree to an extension. Our house went to auction the following Monday and starting bid was $35K less than the short sale offer they approved! OMG I can't the greed and dishonesty and disingenouseness of Ocwen's actions!!!! There were no buyers at the trustee sale, Ocwen is getting the house back and we've become one of the thousands and thousands of Ocwen victims.

So far it has been near impossible to reach someone at Ocwen - I,too, reached only the reps in India until I got fed up and found Ron Faris's phone number - it is now saved in my cell phone. Now I've never actually spoken to him, however I know he got my msgs because, by the 4th one, I threatened to call the regulators for CA, etc. and suddenly I got a call back from a rep in FL. We have submitted our mod papers and all I can say is CYA (cover your a**) document every conversation, every Indian name, date & time - it comes in handy. We'll see how the process goes, we're supposed to have an answer this week, but I've already told them I will go after everyone, file complaints everywhere if I smell something crooked. They have made more than their share - I understand they are a business, I'm not trying to duck a debt. but they should make the smart business move and let someone keep their house, not lose it because the values dumped & their interest is due to increase. One is trapped in this situation.

WOW!!! Finally have some hope. Behind 3 payments, trying for loan modification, have gone through all of the above comments...could not understand the person in customer service, kept getting incomplete information e-mails and letters for the loan modification. TODAY I spoke with someone in the Florida corporate office that was ENGISH AND understanding with my situation AND.. gave us some reassurance. When you CAN actually speak with a customer service rep, tell them to flag your account to route your calls to the east coast office. That way you will get someone that you can understand. I haven't spoke with someone since the rep told me this so I hope it works. I will find out next time I call to see if they received my documents faxed for the third time. All I know is that the rep explained to me that, because of the situation with the Government, they were not sure how it would work for them and that they are extremely backlogged. They are trying to process as many loan modifications as fast as they can. It does remain to be seen in our situation if it works well for us or not. All I know is HE gave us some hope and right now we need anything we can get. I will post anything positive that happens!! Have Faith that MAYBE this Company and all the others, will do right for all of us in DIRE situations.

Ditto all the negative that has been said. I have been trying since Feb. 09 for a modification. It was approved in late 02-09. When I didn't get the paperwork via e-mail as promised; I called again. After waiting what seems like forevere, I was told that the requirement had changed and had to re-submit everything again. Everything faxed on 3-5-09. Didn't hear anything. Called end of March and was told I was missing tax forms, signatures, etc. Re-faxed everything. Received an e-mail confirmation stating 4-14-09 missing tax forms. Then another e-mail saying confirmation of missing information. I called and was told I would have an answer in 5 business days. Well today is 5-19-09 and still nothing. I can't get through on the number. I tried e-mailing the person that sent me the packet. The e-mail comes back as undeliverable. These people are making me crazy. Well, after 3 frustrating attempts to get my loan mod paperwork over to Ocwen, I stumbled across this site. Boy, I didn't know what I was in for. First, the fax number that is listed on their loan mod paperwork with sieze up after 4 pages (come on...4 pages is the worksheet that they make you fill out). Next, they are saying that they haven't recieved my forms SIGNED. Well, my tax returns are obviously signed as they are copies from my tax prep guy and I had never heard of a 4601T form until I printed and signed it from their site...! Second, I send it to their email (mod@ocwen.com). Nope...they never recived it and they won't click the read receipt. Now mind you, I AM NOT BEHIND on any payments, I am anticipating having difficuluty this summer so I am planning ahead. Well, on May 1st my phone rings. I answer and it is Ocwen. They know that I have 15 days before I have to get them my payment, but they want to know where it is. I said it was in the mail. They wanted to know when it was sent, how, etc. I said, "Don't you think I should be LATE before you call me to collect a debt?" He responded that they are aware of my hardship because I have sent them modification forms. Okay, great I say...you'll have my payment by the end of the week. Thats when he said that my paperwork was incomplete. Okay, I have now sent the paperwork twice and this goof is telling me it is not there. The same phantom 4601T form that I had never seen in my life before this loan mod, but which I signed and returned to them is said to be unsigned in my docs. Boy, oh boy is this frustrating. I explain that I have gotten them all docs signed, all tax docs and income docs that they require. He then tells me to send it to another fax number. On this past Saturday I tried. My wife picks up the home phone an hour after I had sent and it is still on with their fax. What kind of 1988 thermal fax machine are these guys using? Well, after another 30 minutes my fax spits out an ERROR, TRANSMISSION FAILED report. {Sigh}. What I need to do is send it certified mail. Can someone here let me know the address to send my docs? I am shocked at how unscrupulous this company is. I have NEVER BEEN LATE on a mortgage payment in 9 years of owning my home. Damn the mortgage refinance guys who explained what a great idea a refi was on the house a couple years ago. Nice ARM you stuck me on. Regardless, I wish I would have tried the loan mod 4 months ago when I was with Downey Savings. Why can they just sell my loan to some scab Florida company hell bent on poor customer service and what appears to be straight lies...? How could they have an unsigned form from me when I printed it with their doc paper work? Why are there all these different fax machines and why don't they work? Why won't they respond to my email READ RECEIPT, but have no problem emailing me that the packet was 'incomplete'? I have called my local TV channel with their investigation wing. They said loan mods are too new to do a story on but suggested I send everything certified mail as that would prove mail fraud on the company if they continue to ignore me. I will be starting a video blog on the process which will certainly net out some video of the treatment I am receiving on their customer service lines. Straight lies. But who will hold them accountable? I'll be back here to post a link to my video blog and lets find a centralized point of complaint so that with our numbers we can get someone to pay attention to the fraud being committed by this company. Email me at to converse and compare notes. It makes me furious that these scabs bought my loan a few months ago. They seem quite schooled in how to screw the customer, which from this thread it sounds like there are a lot of us. Sharpen your pitchforks and ready your pen...lets complain loud enough to bring down this monster or at least get them to play on the level.

Bottom line we weren't able to get to an agreement. Until we received a NOD. The Latest I've done was sending a 57 page packet about our financial profile as a requirement for modification and their promise was 10 days to give us a response. Now, it has been more than 10 days since April 17 that they claimed they received my packet but i sent my packet overnight via UPS w/ on April 06, '09, signed and recieved by a Velez in their mail room on April 7, '09. I agree with each and every one of you! They are the absolute worst. I had a loan modification last year and all it did was lower my payment by $100!! So I had called to ask for another loan modification, they said I was only allowed to do 1. So I quit making the payments and they put my house in foreclosure, the meantime I have filed Chapter 13 but I still can't afford the regular payment and arrears. While I am in this Chapter 13, Ocwen is still charging me late fees and all these all other fees. I have talked to my attorney and am ready to give up this place, it is not worth the stress anymore.

My husband lost his job last year and tried to start his own company. We were doing ok, but it quickly faded. We were behind on everything. I sent OCWEN a letter to try and work out a payment plan. Next thing I know, I receive a letter telling me my house is going to be auctioned off. We settled up with $3000 and a book of paperwork and thought everything would be fine. Now, two months later we are getting letters from attorneys saying they never received our paperwork and it is all starting all over again. I found that pretty strange that they could accept the money and new plan, but now are coming back and trying to make us do it all over again. I read the comments about Ocwen and I will have to agree with everyone of them. Our mortgage was bought by Ocwen and we have had nothing but trouble ever since. My husband lost his job after 23 years when the company decided to close their doors. We were never more than one month behind and only got behind while waiting for my husbnad's unemployment check. When we did recive it I sent the entire check which would have equalled to 1 1/2 payments. I figured this way I would be able to catch our payment up within 2 months. HA!!! What a joke. They started to send me registered letters to let me know I was behind and charging me X amount of money for this so instead of catching up we were just getting further behind. I talked to one of their attorneys and she informed me that we would just have to defer a payment so we could catch up. I told her that would be great but she then informed me that "Ocwen didn't defer payments" I would have to defer a payment on something else. Lots of help that was. Now we are trying to do a modification with them and like another customer wrote, they numbers change every time. Also like another customer wrote you do not speak to the same person and when you do speak to someone you cannot understand them and they keep repeating the same thing over and over. This is the most unreasonable company that I have ever worked with. I would like to know how they think trippling someone's payments is going to help save their home. I wonder what they are doing with all the money the government is giving them to help people because I am not seeing any of it. Linda D. Ohio

Ocwen's representatives will tell you an offer has been accepted and one will receive confirmaion/paperwork in 2/3 days. When you follow up two days later they ask you " who told you that ? They had no right to tell you that " They then, after 60 days, pull the file you are referring to and finally take a look at it. In the meantime a Buyer thinks they were already approved when the file wasn't even looked at. This is a poor way to do business and the word is getting out fast to reputable companies and real estate market people. I have had past dealings with Ocwen and the transaction was done professionally and accurately. I don't know what is happening now but it isn't right and you are misleading Buyers ! I almost lost my Buyer on account of Ocwen giving out the wrong information. You are turning people away and sending alot of business away with such poor tactics. Dissappointed ! Ocwen is very uncaring, we have a handi-caped child, we have never been late on our payments from Sept. of 1999 until this last year when everything went down hill, we called Ocwen all the time to let the know what was going on and that we do want to keep our home, they put a foreclosure notice on our fence on Jan.1, 2009, we called them and tried to have them work something out, they said we had to come up with $4,000.00 by the 19th of Jan. we told them we couldn't, so the sold out home on Jan.21, 2009, after we gave them all the money we had to our names, they still don't care about any of us, they have no heart, people, watch out, if they have there way, you'll be on the street soon and they will have your home too.

They say they care about there customers, but when it comes down to it, they only care about there money, they are kicking our family out to the street, we have a Handi-caped child, and they don't care what happends to him either. they do not care about us. we even gave them a good faith payment, but they would not stop the sale of our home, we have never missed a payment from 1999 til march 17, 2008 when everything turned bad for us, we kept Ocwen informed as to what was going on. And they still say, "we care about our customers", (If this is careing, I would hate to see what not careing was)

Worst company ever! Started forclosure proceedings on our home in Sept. 08 because we were supossedly 14 months behind on our payments when we could provide them with the past 14 months worth of payments that we had made to them!!They we suppose to do a modification cut our interest in half but raised our payments over $100 dollars more than we were already paying! We were suppose to receive these papers in the mail 3 weeks ago and to no surprise we're still waiting on them to get here. When we called and asked them to email the modification to us they ( Ocwen) said that it would be 2 to 4 hours and we would have the email. Seven hours later I called to find out why we hadn't received the email and was told that they didn't do that in that dept. and that they would have to send an internal email to the correct dept to get the modification emailed to us. Guess what we're still waiting on that as well!!When talking to Ocwen on the phone they also can't understand why we don't just sign the modification and settle for the good deal that they're giving us even though we have yet to see the modification proposal that they want us to just agree to over the phone ! We could go on and on about this company!! The one thing we can say is somebody out there needs to put a stop to this company and it's deseptive ways.

Daily calls for payments that Ocwen shows have been posted. Each payment was posted approx. 1 week before the due date. I was told that in the 4 months time since we entered the agreement, the "system hasnt been updated yet" to reflect the new agreement, so the calls hounding my 72 year old mother for payments already made will continue, unabated for at least another few months. We have made several attempts to straighten up our account. We had the same trouble with posting payments late so I started doing money gram. We also have the same problem of fees being added to our account or posting payments wrong. We entered into a forebearance agreement that the rules changed. We never signed the agreement because the rules had changed. We are getting late fees added each month as well. Just in August, a rep suggested a Loan Modification to at least get a set interest rate and a lower payment and add what we are behind to the end of the loan. Here it is October and I am still waiting for the paper work. I submitted all the information and haven't heard anything. I have tried calling and resubmitted the things again and still haven't heard anything. I have been told not to make a payment until I hear something. Well...If I don't make a payment I could lose my house. Every rep tells different things. I have experience rude people as well. If I do get someone nice, I find out later they told me wrong. They tell you they are notating the account only to call back and find out they didn't. I don't know who to contact or what to do. We have been told as well to pay a down payment. This is one of these situation you can not just sit and wait on. We just want to apply what we are behind to the end of the loan. By reading the information, late fees with they type of agreement are suppose to be wavied. No such luck here. 30.00 in late fees are added each month and we are only paying 40.00 extra a month. We can't get ahead.

what is with this company.??they did the same to me. we did a forebearance agreement and Ocwen made an error so it was delayed a few weeks and i held up my side of the agreement., they told me i had 6 weeks to make my payment and just after the 4th week they mailed me a default notice, i have tried and tried to reach them since then and cant get them to answer, i sent certified mail even.they have a computer call us 10 times a day telling to call the toll free number,NO ONE ANSWERS IT.its an endless maze in a computer answering system.!! my girlfriend is disabled, one of her daughters is a child cancer survivor and i have partial permanent disability. we want to keep the home and make my payments but they arent allowing me to, we cant move, due to our conditions, it would take a year to prepare. i had been getting notices in the mail(not certified) saying "u.s.bank" vs you, with a court date in november. us bank? who the heck is that? i had a credit card in 1990 with usbank. it says foreclosure of the equity in your home. i have been taking this as a tricky credit card collector from a 1990 debt, yesterday i get another notice and it says same as usual except the last page this time has ocwens information, so this must have been ocwen the whole time? so now i have 3 weeks until my court date for forclosure, i am beyond upset with how i have been treated & handled. i could have been paying my mortgage on time if they didnt screw it up so bad, i have had my payments, does anyone want to meet me and my family to go stand in front of their headquarters and put on a public display with us? we will be the ones with the 3 kids and mom in a wheelchair.

At the end of the day if you are with ocwen do not get attatched to your house or expect to have nothing less than a break down. They will harass you any where you go. I did not realize that loan sharking and Fraud was legal in the United States. Maybe this could be what is wrong with the economy but it is just my opinion( just a thought). Maybe the goverment should step in and possible go over these peoples books. I am still trying to figure out how they have got over a 100 grand from us and only 200.00 went to principal. You got to ask why when the payment was late once and 10 years later. They will end up buying the house loan sooner or later and then try and get away from them. Rewrote 3 times with 3 separate companies and still ends up with ocwen. Will in the end I am not attatched to the house no more nothing but bad memories because of them. I hope they enjoy it cause I am moving on. Good luck everyone and god bless.

I cannot come up with the $6000 owed for the two payment why would they think I can give them $4500. and now they are tacking late fees, apraisal fees, and certified mail fees. Our loan was sold to Ocwen in 2006 and our payment was going to increase two time withing a 7 month period. We contacted them and refused to help. We submitted paper work for hardship and modification/restructure loan and we were told that it will take 10 days to review. We spoke with them on a monday and the denial letter we received was dated tuesday(next day). Ocwen never reviewed our paper work. I wrote letters to our congressman, financial person(city) and senator, everyone who represents my city. Well, since consumer affair got involved we received a call on a friday closed to 5:00pm and that person was demanding that we go over the paper work. We were not ready and we asked that why all of the sudden they are calling and rushing. Well, it was because consumer affairs got involved and they made a call to them regarding us. We asked them to call back on saturday morning so that we can get the paperwork ready. And yes, they are in INDIA, the representative said it will not be possible because they do not work on saturday and he will have to come in. My husband told that he better come in on saturday and call us to discuss the paper work. Well, he did call on saturday but as soon as we hung up, they call the consumer affair office and said it was settled. I told them no, we have not settled anything or received any contract. Well, they fixed our mortgage but we are still waiting for the contract with their signature. I have the copy they email to me with my signature. Everything i mailed was certificed and required a signature. I also saved their voice mail message saying my mortgage was adjusted. OCWEN will not help you if you are not behind and if you are behind they still will not help you. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD SHUT THEM DOWN. Reading all of this stories is scary. Even dough I fixed my monthly payment, they can still mess with my account. As soon as I can refinance, i will do it with a local bank.

Ocwen has made it extremely difficult as home owners to maintain mortgage payments, they do not speak directly on the phone with you, nor do they offer any type of assistance. They also added on huge fees which made our mortgage payment jump up so high we are barely making it. We are more than willing to talk with Ocwen and come to a better payment arrangement long term so that we can remain loyal, happy customers but they do not make that possible.

On May 29, 2008, I submitted all required documentation to request a loan modification. On June 13, 2008, I spoke with the loan modification specialist who went over my financials and upon completion informed me that it was being submitted for approval. The rate that was quoted to me was 3.9% for three years at $1860.00 per month. This was acceptable for me. However, it has been over a month and I have yet to hear anything from them. It was only suppose to take up to 10 business days for the approval. After being transferred from one representative to another, I am now told that they don't know if it will be approved and by the end of this month my house will go into foreclosure. I have tried consistently to avoid this from happening but to no avail. This mortgage company truly has a poor rating in assisting its customers.

Ocwen is slowly stealing all the 25k equity from our home. They charge unfounded fee's, never credit payments, never credit payments on time. They make you hold 90+_ minutes. No one can speak clear and understandable English. They charge you for submitting payments on line or over the phone and then wont credit something sent in by mail in a timely manner. They take money from escrow account for tax payment but never paid the taxes. Then we had to pay our own 100.00+ taxes. Then when payment was late a partial payment was sent and the $1000.00 dollars was held, not credited and they would not take any payment but a full one. Then they said that they would make a forebarrance plan and guess what, they stalled for 3 months, telling me something different as to why the plan was not done yet. I then was served with a foreclosure when I have the man on tape telling me not to send a payment until forebarrance plan was signed. HUH, i never got one. But, I am currently loosing all the equity in my children's home. What a nightmare. I hope they can live with the fact that they do this to hard working Americans. Just wondering if anyone/employee working at Ocwen would do what is right and go to court, make statments to help consumers. Kentucky resident

I end more upset and frustrated after I talk to them. I feel there statements of wanting to help people save there homes are lies. Why in this Country do we have to put up with, or why are these mortgage companies, allowed to be so dishonest? What recourse do we have? I feel helpless!! This is more than a nightmare! It makes me feel ill, everyday wondering when I will have to leave my home, all the hard work and money all of ocwens customers have put into there homes, obviously means nothing to ocwen!! Ocwen is everything that other customers have said on this site, and so much worse. I never made late payments to Ocwen. I always sent my payments early. In order to create a situation where my payments would be late, Ocwen "lowered" my interest rate, and reduced my payment on their statements. For six months, I continued to pay the amount stated in my loan documents. I believed that Ocwen was up to no good. When I called them about the lower payment, they said that a "new law" was passed that required them to lower my payment amount and interest rate. After 6 months, when I didn't take the bait, they brought my interest rate and payment amount back up. When I called them, the rep let me know that "someone" had made a mistake, but since I had made all my regular payments, I didn't have to worry about late charges! Wasn't that nice of them! Ocwen is horrid. They were the secondary lien holder on my loan. RCS aka Aames was the first. I couldn't make the payments when the interest adjusted up, so I saved my money, moved into an apartment, and let the home be foreclosed on. I didn't know what else to do. Memphis Fair Housing, NACA, and other companies/organizations were just too slow to help. I hope that others will be able to get help. It's a shame that hard-working people are made to seem like irresponsible, careless consumers who mismanage their money, when in fact it's the mortgage companies who are charging ridiculous fees that force homeowners into foreclosure.

Ocwen is the worst mortgage company out there. They were unwilling to work a payment plan with us where we could repay the amount we were behind on. They've allowed us to sign a forbearance plan that is $400 above our original payment. We really can't afford it, however are afraid they might foreclose. We'd really rather sell the house, pay them off and start fresh. With additional fees they've charged, now they're saying we owe $10K when we started with only being 3 months behind amounting to $6K+. Their website is misleading because the solutions they offer are impractical. They're making money off people through foreclosure, which is just not right! It is very hard to reach a live person when calling the 800 number. After 30 minutes of waiting, you get someone who's rude and unwilling to work out a plan. What tell you one day isn't the same thing they tell you the next day. Someone needs to put them out of business.

I called them, they didnt respond, then after 3 months they call only to tell me I am 10 months in the rear!!! I said "Where the hell have you been, you have had my account how long, and you have never sent us anything??" Why are we the bad people when these mortgage companies can buy and sell of our loans like its just one big corporate game of Monopoly!? We live in fear daily that they will come from the dark and foreclose on us. Now my latest research again with no help from Ocwen shows that the company Ocwen sold our 2nd to, is now out of buisness and bankrupt, and to top it all off, Ocwen never paid our property taxes from the 1st tax payment of 2005, and when we called to complain, they sold off our 1st mortgage telling us there is nothing we can do to help you, you didnt make the payments and we DID!! They posted our payments on both accounts how ever the hell they felt like it, and in the end have more legal rights then any of us stuck with their lousy, unprofessional and probably unlicensed loans!! OCWEN SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO BE IN BUSINESS AT ALL!!!

Ocwen is the work company I have ever dealt with. My oldest daughter had a heart transplant and I was unable to work for over 1 year and my husband had to work less to help out with our other 4 children. I tried to work out something with them and they were horrible. They told me I needed to pay $4400 and overnight ti so my home would be foreclosed on. I got a bank check for $4400 and overnighted it I have the receipt from the post office that it was delivered and who signed for it. The check has cleared the bank and Ocwen is still claiming they have never received it, and they don't know anyone by the name of the person who signed for it. They foreclosed on us and sold our house at auction and I have no idea to this day where my payment is. Do not send them any money they are crooks. We are now going to try and sue them.

Here's the info, I don't care about how many emails they get, I know they have put all of us in a terrible situation. Here you go and best of luck, no one should ever have to deal with foreclosure. starno starno starno starno star by Anonymous From Saint Petersburg, FL on January 25, 2008

I have a home in St. Petersburg that is currently in foreclosure. Ocwen is my loan servicer. When I first began to fall behind in my mortgage I attempted to contact Ocwen. I was met with hold times that amounted to hours. I have been on hold and the company has closed for the day. When you leave a message and ask to be called at a certain time and number, they call your home with a voice activated message asking that you call them back. Emailing them doesn't work either, all you receive is a form reply. I finally took off from work in September to endure the wait. After 3 hours I was on the line with a live rep. I asked for a loan modification that would place the past due payments at the end of my loan. They flat out refused to discuss this option. Instead I was offered a forbearance that required a payment of $2700, and then 12 monthly payments of $1580,$350 more than my regular mortgage. When I received the contract I realized that the increase was a forced escrow account for taxes and insurance. I stopped doing escrow about 5 years ago when I refinanced with a sub-prime mortgage company I have paid my taxes and Insurance on my home for the last 5 of the 13 years I have been here. I took another day off from work to speak with someone. The rep told me that they were forcing the escrow because I was behind on payments, I argued that my taxes and insurance were paid, he said it didn't matter. So how am I to catch-up on my back payments? That's up to you, you can send extra money on top of the $350. This was crazy. I questioned how this was to help me, and the rep said the forbearance would stop the foreclosure for up to an year. When asked what happens after the year, I was advised they would proceed with the foreclosure. This made no sense. Then as a scare tactic (I guess) on the day the payment and contract were due, I was served with the foreclosure. For the last month I have tried to enlist the help of Hope Now but they are a joke. I received a letter from them saying they could help. I call the number and it is to Ocwen. I get the real number for Hope Now and end up talking to a counselor for NovaDebt. She is useless. Again I spend time on the phone with her trying to reach Ocwen. She says she will email them, they email back that they tried to contact me and left a message and for me to call them, which is a lie. The rep is of no help. She says she would get a supervisor involved and call me back. It has been a week since she said this and I am still waiting.

Ocwen is quick to rope you into what looks like a do able situation but you get bills that are huge and unobtainable to pay and it keeps mounting until you can't make the payments much less the back due when you try to refinance you credit isn't good enough anymore your trapped taking whatever they give you. Never go with a mortgage company like Ocwen no one is ever there to answer your question or help and most of the time you can't understand what they are telling you

OCWEN is truly the worst. I have tried calling and they sure seem not to understand when you need HELP but sure understand when they are trying to get a late fee from you. I sent in my payment 7 days before it was due & they said they didn't receive it till 11 days later...got charged almost 90 dollars in late fees. The following month I sent my payment certified & return receipt....guess what I sent in on a Monday & they received it on Thursday!!!! I have asked for paper work to try and lower my payments and I have yet to receive the PACKET. I tried to ask for advice and help...he couldn't help me. I tried to ask them if they refinance...and they said NO!!! My husband has lost his job, we have 3 children and I cant afford the payments by myself. THEY SUCK...If anyone has something open in trying to close them out of business please let us ALL know. Our mortgage was given to them without our knowledge!!

our mortgage has continued to go up even when we were already late on payments they increased it, then they did a contract to supposedly save our home, the payment went up from 475 to 500,we was able to scrape up the first payment then Christmas came and now were in foreclosure,i haven't received no certified mail telling us they were foreclosing, instead a man showed up looking at our house to see if it was still occupied, and telling us they were foreclosing, pretty ignorant if you ask me.We received a bill for $2,900 dollars since we couldn't make our December payment of contract, then a knock at the door a few days later as i told you.My wife is home every day raising our children so i know we haven't missed any mail,as of phone calls,i have made several to ocwen and after an hour on hold and a couple messages we haven't heard nothing from ocwen, only the man that came to look at our house

Ocwen bought our mortgage from Embanque without our knowledge and raised our interest rate to 10.5%. We have been trying for years to get away from them but on our credit report they always say we are behind so no other bank will touch us. I have never received an answer that I can understand when I've called them. They constantly hold my checks and then charge me late fees!! I send my check out about a week before it's due and they don't process it for for 10-12 days later. When I complain I'm told I can do a payment over the phone for an extra $10.00 charge. I wonder what would happen if everyone who had a mortgage with them stopped paying until they straightened up. Could you imagine how many homes they would have to try to foreclose on and what would happen to their stock? Hummm.....

You should forward it the website and akk found pages to your attorney general,Governor, Senator Presidential candidate. You should also track all of the pac money being paid to legislators and Banking Committee Lobbies that allow this to happen. The increases are artificial in order to pay for their consumer debt. Behind OCEWEN are the nameless faceless Investment Banks in China, UAE and India. They pay millions to their favorite govt people and worse lend them money at low low rate rates . This is just the beginning. If you believe George and Dick give a rats ass about you keeping your home guess again.

I've just been on the phone with Ocwen 45minutes regarding a forbearance plan they put in to place for me last month that was in effect until Jan. 2008. Now I'm being told my payment has doubled.. what was the sense in the forbearance plan then? I will probably lose my home now.. you would think they would want to help at this time with foreclosure rate so high, the last thing they need is another home to try and collect on. I feel sick to my stomach and I can't stand talking to people I cannot understand. Heartless bastard. OCWEN doesn't care about people...just MONEY...have refused numerous payments and refuse payment arrangements. Have had representatives belittle me and talk down to me on MANY occasions when I have tried to get things back on track. Companies like this should not be allowed to do business. I have another mortgage through Country Wide and they had no problem working with me after I had money stolen from my account. The main reason I was behind to begin with on my mortgage. I have not had a late payment on a mortgage since 1997...the one and ONLY time until now. I had an entire bank account emptied due to fraud and Ocwen didn't care.
