About Fifth Third Bank

From their website as of 1/9/07:
" Fifth Third traces its origins to the Bank of the Ohio Valley, which opened its doors in Cincinnati in 1858. In 1871, that bank was purchased by the Third National Bank. With the turn of the century came the union of the Third National Bank and the Fifth National Bank, and eventually the organization became known as "Fifth Third Bank." Since its beginning, Fifth Third has provided superior customer service and followed sound banking principles."

Fifth third bank would not return calls to me until the first of the year 2008, it was hard to get any information out of them regarding the home. To this day I have not received any information regarding the sherrif sale or redemption period. The customer service that I received from them was horrible. Nasty attitudes/ they are not customer friendly at all. They will not give you any information and they act like your home is their name

Poor. They already sent me thru the foreclosure process and it was their fault they misapplied my payments. Yet, I had to pay for the attorney fees. I got no apology from them and they made everything appear to be my fault.

I had always had a great relationship with 5/3rd as I am a realtor. I feel that this night mare has spiraled out of control. I went from the vice president of consumer lending apologising to me for 5/3rd refusing my payments when I was less than 90 days late and wishing I would have reached out for her help sooner to being foreclosed on in a month!
