Chase is ONLY concerned about getting their money. If they would lower my interest rate of 8.75 I would easily pay my mortgage. I am a widow with a son, not once did they try to modify my mortgage! I even got a job now even in these times. God is the only one that stop them, because with God all things are possible! Nina

I got a phone call from Chase this weekend. They said I was behind on my mortgage payment. I was NOT. The idiot I spoke with told me that my payments (which I have been making twice monthly) was applied to principal and not the actual payment. I said that this sounded like a Chase problem, He then told me I should not be making two payments per month. Well, I've been doing this for years and never had a problem before. He stated that my mortgage was going to go into foreclosure if I made two payments because only one would be applied to the mortgage itself, and any other payment would be applied to principal. Have they gone insane? Ugh. This company is HORRIBLE. I'm going to refinance with USAA and stay with them.

My loan debt was sold to Chase by WaMu. I guess it’s none of my business what they paid for it. Three years ago I bought my home without selling my prior residence, in hopes that it would sell soon. It hasn’t. The two mortgages were difficult to handle, especially when our prior home was not rented. But, we were timely with our payments, though. Last April, things were getting really tough and we applied for some help. We filled out an application, twice. After a month we received an offer for a loan modification program to decrease our monthly payment. It was a tentative agreement, but we were told to remain timely with the new amount, which we did. Sometime during that course our loan was transferred to Chase. Four days ago, we were informed that we were not approved for the program. One day ago, we received a foreclosure notice for being three months behind in our payments. We have been in contact with our case manager somewhat regularly. Am I on the losing end of some sort of collusion?

Chase is the worst company ever. have been trying for 6 month for remod and have got the run around for this long. Every time i talk to a rep I get a different story. I have a feeling they are holding out feeding me crap so they can foreclose.

Our first experience with Chase became a nightmare in 2003 and we were terrified when our new loan was sold to Chase. They have improved. Their specialists are unbelievably better in working with you (but still hard to reach) and treating you like a customer and not a vagrant. It is unfortunate that they still prevent you from catching up without a formal agreement. Mortgage companies make huge profits from the misfortune of their customers and it is ethically wrong but legally protected.

I have had several issues with them and they made up a repayment plan that wasn't logical. We caught up our payments and then my husband had to have surgery being really sick. Which meant only one income coming in. They Took 2 payments at a time out of my account at one time and claimed they never received but guess who had to pay the bank for over drafts and other fees. Then I sent them Western Union payment at one point then they claimed they didn't get it. Which made us then 3 months in default sending us into foreclosure. We filed bankruptcy they tried the same thing with a couple of my payments luckily I kept all my Western union stubs this time. If you ask me someone its putting peoples hard working money in their pocket!!!

We have fallen behind in our house payments, and did a modification in Feb. 09. Well my dad got really sick and we fell behind again. After my dad passed away we were able to send them a Western Union Quick Collect and they declined the payment. Now they have an attorney who will be starting foreclosure proceedings. This company sucks and how can they refuse a payment that was 2 months plus late fees? This company is the worst. Don't ever use them! Rent before you use Chase!!!!

After my husband lost his job and we were forced to relocate for employment we had to leave our home but could not continue to pay the payments and rent on the house we moved to. So we called Chase to see if we could hand in the deed in lieu of foreclosure they said we could but only after we put our house up for sale for 90 days. We did this turned in the necessary paper work. Never heard anything. Received a summons for foreclosure. Called today to ask about deed in lieu and how we had been told we could do that, the rude rep said we must have just heard what we wanted to hear and said Chase rarely does that (DIL). I told him if that is the case they should make sure their reps make that clear in the future. He proceeded to tell me I was not to talk to him like that and put me on hold. Chase has given us the run around. They are definitely the worst! Nice telling us we could do deed in lieu and then telling us we just made that up or misheard!

i first connected with WAMU(Chase) outreach personnel on March 13,2009. I was told a forbearance would be recommended for me. Paper work never got to loan modifier until early May 2009. A one day review by loan modifier and file closed do to insufficient income proceeding to foreclosure. That's was it...nothing else offered! Chase outreach personnel are simply peddling in false hope to homeowners because Chase needs to protect the asset(your home) meaning Chase doesn't want you to leave early. They are given out intentional false hope so owners will continue to occupy up until Chase takes the asset. Chase bastards are just bankrupt thugs themselves

Chase wrongfully took us into foreclosure as well. We had proof of our payments. They chose to ignore all of our proof. Judge told them they could not wrongfully take someone into foreclosure. They settled in court with us. Our settlement agreement stated they must fix our credit. However we are almost 2 years after the fact with a deed in leui on our credit. I wish we could have all filed a class action against them. I beleive since we settled we can not participate in a class action. However, we are looking into another action for breach of contract for not fixing the credit as stated.

Had to find out through an auto dealership that I had a foreclosure on my report. Had no idea and was highly surprised. I am a Realtor who has a home listed as a short sale and the mortgage is with Chase. The home was a rental where the tenant stiffed the owners for six months, wouldn't move out, and trashed the place. The owners didn't have the resources to cover the expense and fell behind a couple of months on the mortgage. They contacted Chase about bringing it up to date, but Chase refused any negotiations or settlement, saying they would only take it to foreclosure. We immediately went to short sale at about $20,000 below what is owed, but got no offers in our declining market. We gradually lowered the price numerous times until it was priced abour $60,000 below what is owed. Because the house is in rough shape on the inside, the offers came in $15,000 to $30,000 below that. I submitted the first in late August and Chase pulled the home from the Sept. county auction list. I kept calling back to see if the offer ever got in the system for negotiation. It was entered on Oct. 21. I also changed the lockbox to a non-mls box so anyone going in to do a BPO or appraisal would have to contact me for access. I got a second offer several weeks ago and called to submit it, and was told not to bother, that they were 7 to 10 business days behind in their imaging work (scanning faxes to digitial files for computer entry) and to wait until a negotiator was assigned, and send it directly to that person. Not sure that would ever happen I faxed it anyway. I received a third offer this week. I called to check the status, and the Service rep was nice and said she would expedite the assignment of an analyst, since the home was back on the auction list for next week. That actually happened last Friday. The analyst called me and was very condescending. His name is Patrick Landis. He said they had a BPO showing the value near the first listing price, and that all the offers were being refused, and the house was going to auction, no questions allowed. When I asked what kind of BPO was done since no one called me for access, he said it was probably a drive-by evaluation with no interior inspection. That firmly established the real market value as far as Chase is concerned. He then started pounding me with questions about repairs needed, and tricked me into saying they were only $5,000 to $6,000 (to make the home habitable) vs. the $30,000 gap in the offers (to bring the home to full market value). Once he got me there, he refused all other diaglogue, particularly my request for a more professional and accurate valuation. So now my clients will lose their house, Chase will get a house they will need to repair, refurbish, manage, list, and market at an inflated value figure, and then have to take what they are now being offered which is all the home is worth. This is not a professionally run company. They have been mean, inept, and condescending at most every level, though a few customer service reps were pleasant to talk to when they told me no progress had been made.

I am a realtor. I was contacted by a couple who had a variable loan on a home financed by Chase. The husband had become disabled and their house had become uninhabitable. It had TONS of city violations on it and it is in horrible condition. The amount they owed was more than the house was worth. I put it on the market and got a couple of short sale offers. This was in June 2008. I spent hours and hours working on paperwork only to find that each of the 14 times (yes, I have proof) that I faxed Chase, they denied they ever got it or would give me a COMPLETELY different place to fax it to. They would also ask for an additional piece of information. Three faxes ago, I faxed 64 pages! I had to stand at the fax machine and fax it in two parts as the memory would not accomodate that. Each time I called, I was given the run around or they told me that I needed to call another number. I called one day four times and was put on hold for 45 minutes each time and then hung up on! DELIBERATELY. I would hear them pick up and then CLICK! They finally sent someone out to do a BPO. I arranged to get them in and again called for WEEKS afterward. When I finally got thru to the assigned negotiator, he told me that I would have to wait for another week for them to do a internal revalue. I called him back and he told me that they were rejecting the cash offer contracts that I submitted and countered with an amount that was not only ridiculous, it was higher by $20,000 than what homes were selling for in that area! So now, after more than 5 months of work at MY expense, Chase is going to allow it to go into foreclosure. It will be assigned to another real estate agent who will spend months just like I did trying to get offers only to find out that they will get less than the offers I currently have in hand. It will cost Chase (and their investors) more money and they will end up with an offer no more than the current ones I submitted as the house is a train wreck! I will bet the investors in Chase would feel real good about their investment if they knew that Chase was sitting on homes that could have been sold except for the fact that they have disorganized, disinterested and unprofessional people handling their affairs. NEVER AGAIN will I attempt to involve myself in a short sale if Chase is involved NOR will I ever take out a loan from Chase NOR recommend them.

BIG Companies such as Chase beleive they can get away with "business crimes" because they have to much money and power! It is up to every individual to report and boycott these types of companies. Greed is there only motivator, not customer satusfaction! If they owe you money charge them interest for there lack of finacial responsibilty. God, knows they will charge you and blow up your phone, but if they made a mistake (purposefully of course) they sure go out of their way to shun you! We are stronger together so spread the message of this company, I do and have boycotted them and they are an awful company, but times are changing JP Morgan!

Chase Manhattan took my property via an illegal mortgage scam. I was never indebted to them on a mortgage loan, personal, or credit card debt. Chase came in as an assignee, on a scam where property is illegally conveyed, through a paper mortgage, but no funds are put up, and the mortgage is recorded, at the local deed office. The person who is alleged to have used his name for the mortgage, stated that he never had a book or bank to pay the morrgage to, and I had never met him. However, Chase used their influence with the courts, and and had a judge to overturn a decision, wherein my property had been rescinded back to me, and proceeded with a foreclosure and an eviction putting my family and I out of our home.

Chase does not send statements during this time, and systemically keeps you from knowing how they apply your payments re: prin, fees, int. I have just learned in my 9th yr. of a 30 yr fixed note, that I have been charged $60 to $70K in fees for the loan mod. It shows I have paid NO principal in 9 yrs, as if I had an ARM. I've had worse mortgage companies. With Chase: I wasn't behind on payments but anticipated a future problem since my husband left me with the mortgage. I called to see if they could excuse a payment so that I could catch up on life or if I could work out some sort of assistance since CA mortgages are foreclosing like crazy but I was paying mine on time... instead of rewarding me, I got nothing. They said they could only help me if my home was in or about to be in foreclosure. How much sense does that make? No proactive or preventative options!

I didn't ask for them and don't want them. My mortage was sold to them without my consent which I think voids any agreement ever made. There is a legal understanding in a democratic country not governed by the corporations called a "meeting of the minds". How can this occur if your mortgage is sold without you knowing?

I have my mortgage with Chase. My husband and I split up well over a year ago. I live in and pay the payments on the house. My husband filed bankruptcy on his credit cards only in December. I had not paid my December payment and called Chase on Jan. 14 to tell them I would be catching up the end of the month. They informed me they can't talk to me because its in foreclosure! I was appauled that 45 days late would be enough for them to have already filed foreclosure papers but they did and they never to this day sent me anything on it. I did recieve a ruling from the bankruptcy court saying they were given permission to go ahead with the foreclosure process but I had already caught up my payments before it ever went to court. They now tried to bill their attorney fees with my mortgage payment. I told them that was between them and my husband and they can't put it in my mortgage. We'll see where it goes from here. Whatever you do don't let them hold your mortgage if you have a choice. I didn't, they bought it from my original mortgage company. I now have to worry all the time whether they are trying something behind my back or not.

They absolutely do not respond. I am The plaintiff in a real estate fraud case as a foreclosure & NO ONE FROM THIS COMPANY HAS EVERY REPLIED, SHOWED UP, OR ETC. AS A DEFENDANT. ACTUALLY, I THINK THIS IS A RESPUN COPY OF A LOAN THAT THE MOST CURRENT BUYER SCANNED & RECORDED TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THERE IS A REAL MORTGAGE ON SITE. I WENT WAY BEYOND TO NOTICE THEM & SERVE THEM BUT THEY NEVER RESPONDED...THE $$$$ ARE OVER 500 BUT UNDER 1 MILLION. SO WHAT GIVES??? OF COURSE THERE THERE IS MORE TO THIS WHICH IS DOWN HILL FROM THIS PART...

Very hard to communicate with, short of harassment, I dislike dealing with them all together. Our original loan sold to Chase shortly after we purchased our home in 2004. I don't feel as if we have had a chance to get on our feet.

Chase Manhattan Mortgage is the worst company to deal with.Their customer service operators are no help and every time you call you get one thats knows even less then the last one you talked to. If you do happen to get one that sounds like they no what they are talking about, they tell you one thing and then do something different. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!

From their credit cards to their mortgages DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM they are CROOKS & DECEITFUL. They don't post your payment on time, then have the gall to charge you 30% interest on your credit card - and we aren't talking 30 days late, either. Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They are also the worst mortgage company to work for or with - they don't care about you or your situation. It disturbs me to see that they are trying to take over Washington Mutual, one of the last honest companies in the US. Kerry Killinger is selling his soal if he goes through with this.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Their practice of submitting bills 2 months after they are due then charging exorbinant late fees should be illegal. These people deserve more punishment than Enron executives.

recently we have been served with foreclosure papers and I called our mortgage company and they said that they did not do that so I called the attorneys and they said that chase did it the problem is that we no longer had chase and chase said that they didn't do it so now i go to court to find out if chase really did this or a boogie man did it
