ALL THEY DO IS PASS you TO ONE PERSON AFTER ANOTHER AND THEY ALL HAVE SOMETHING Different TO TELL you. MY HOUSE WAS IN Foreclosure FOR THREE MONTHS AND I Didn't EVEN KNOW IT.

by Anonymous From Sandy, TX on November 05, 2009
Over the last year and a half I have been divorced and unemployed twice. During the divorce the ex wanted the house, 6 months later she abandoned the house and left me a month behind on the mortgage. I began paying extra each month and in 6 months was only $500 behind. I got laid off for the second time. I called Chase and asked if I could pay the $500 I was behind and then skip a payment, to help me until I was employed again. I got routed around but finally was talking to the right area; after awhile they said yes and told me I didn't have to pay this month and could make a reduced payment for 6 months, if I did that on time they would restructure my loan. Cool, so I thought. 3 weeks later no paperwork has arrived and a payment should be due. I called Chase, they tell me the first person never finished the paperwork. 30 minutes later, I have answered all the same questions for the 2nd time and am told half payment in 2 weeks, then my normal payment for 6 months, then restructure. 2 weeks later, still no paperwork, I call back and say I owe a payment, girl on phone says ok, let's go over your financials, I say ok she asked me about income, I say " good news I got a job" we spend another 30 minutes answering all the same questions for the 4th time. She then stated based on your income you can afford to pay $500 more than my normal payment. I said no and I have a deal in place and Chase needs to honor it, after a long discussion, we do not come to a conclusion. Next day I call back and talk to a very nice person who agrees to honor the deal that chase had previously offered. 2 weeks later, chase calls me and states they would like to start working on getting my permanent restructure in place, I say ok and answer the same 30 minutes worth of questions for the 6th time. At the end of this discussion he tells me my payment is now $600 a month more starting now. I say absolutely not and ask to speak with a supervisor. I am given a number and name. I call the number and say who I am. The supervisor states "How did you get this number?' Nice customer service. I wish I had the guys name with me so I could call him out, this was completely terrible. After a long and heated exchange he threatens to foreclose on my house if I don't talk to someone else and answer all the same questions again. I ask to speak to his supervisor, he states no, I say I feel the need to complain about him and again threatens to foreclose on my house. I get transfer to the team lead and spend another 30 minutes answering all the same questions again. I talk to another supervisor and by the end of this 2 hour ordeal, I am paying my normal rent for 4 months and then will have to pay balloon payments to get caught up starting in January, and am told they will not restructure my loan with the reduced interest rate I had been originally promised. I called chase in good faith and ask for help, with their help I have gone from $500 behind to $6000. If there is anyone at chase that actually cares about your customers and wants to help my number loan is 1952176100

I have had to call 5 months in a row to explain that I did send my payment on time and they even cashed the checks before the due date! They claim to fix the problem every month, yet each month I get statements saying I haven't paid. My credit is being ruined and no one ever returns my calls.

Some of the Chase customer reps are very rude and I have gotten hung up on when transferred to other departments. One woman told me to go to the local Chase branch and turn in my keys to the home! I wish it was that easy....FINALLY after several attempts I talked to a very nice loss mitigation analyst, but he wants me to modify my loan. I just want do a deed-in-lieu. So, I gave up all my financial info and he'll call me back in a couple of days. Let's see what Chase can do?

by Anna Giordano From Carle Place, NY on October 09, 2009
I contacted chase to lower/modify my 7% rate. They told me i have too much debt. OK.....maybe you could lower my rate so I'll have less debt???? And make the payments easier to handle so I don't foreclose!!! Seems simple to me....why don't they understand???

you people are all idiots. that basically sums it up. who am i? I'm the loss mitigation analyst that you all complain you can never speak to. oh I'm actually at my desk when you call me. but seeing you're all stupid enough to be posting on a 3rd parties website, ... well... enough said.

I could never speak to someone that knew what they were doing, they always transferred me to someone else who also couldn't help and was always being put on hold for long periods of time only to be hung up on. I tried several times to work something out to pay my mortgage but nobody would help me and now it is being foreclosed. They are awful!!!

On March 26, 2009 we applied for a refinancing loan with Chase our current mortgage company. Our credit score is 800. We submitted all the documents the loan officer requested the next day. We were preapproved for a 4.873%interest rate on $567,000 loan. We currently pay $300-$400 extra every month towards the principal since we bought the house 4 yrs ago. We never missed a payment. I had to give them a check for $ 750 and they would lock in the rate for 60 days. He (Mac-loan officer) did say that if the bank delayed the process then the rate would still be locked in past the 60 days. Also if they declined us we would get the $750 back. On Sept 23 we were declined for the following reason: "We got the Final Review done with Underwriting. And they have Final Declined your loan application. Here are the exact words of the Underwriter; "The maximum DTI "Debt to Income" with all the mortgage insurance companies is 41%. The DTI for this loan is 44.26%. I am sorry but the loan cannot be approved. Mortgage insurance is not available when the DTI exceeds 41% and there are no exceptions from the mortgage insurance companies. Also, since the CB will have future loss carry overs per their accountant letter but dollar amounts are not estimated, it is impossible to accurately determine their income." Comment from the loan officer- (who could not even explain the declination) "Maureen, this is a direct result of the Lower Appraised Value that increased you initial LTV "Loan to Value" to a higher 85%. As you know the appraised value came in lower than expected at $670,000 & the file had to be restructured within LTV guidelines. If this was under the 80% LTV Limit then the maximum allowed DTI would have been 45%. Due to the ratios above 41% DTI we are unable to obtain MI Mortgage Insurance coverage for your loan. The only possible solution to obtain an approval would be if you decided to reduce your principle loan balance to be under 80%. I would estimate would be $33,500 Plus Closing Cost would be roughly around $40,000 out of pocket, that would reduce your final DTI to be close to the maximum allowed 41%. Of course this figure would need to be confirmed by underwriting. We are unable to offer the applicant credit for the following reason(s): Adverse Action Reasons 1. Excessive Obligations in Relation to Income (44.26% above maximum 41% per MI ) 2. Unable to Verify income We submitted our tax returns and our bank statements 3 times because they lost them the previous 2 times- that is even a bigger concern. I called the bank every week for an update for 6 months. Then we went on vacation which I informed them of weeks in advance and they told me the day before vacation we had to have our CPA explain why my husband sold his business 3 years ago. Also they said I wasn’t employed but I provided my W2's for the past several years. Our income is way above the ratio they mentioned. We could pay off the mortgage if we wanted to, they didn’t mention that fact in the denial. How can they get away with this on so many loans? Even our loan officer told us we were one of many they were doing this to and he was very frustrated. This is their own employee agreeing with this unprofessional, discriminatory way of how they are treating their customers. Issues:1. Lost our tax returns twice which cause me major privacy concerns. 2. Applied 3/36/09 did not hear anything from loan officer unless I initiated the emails or phone calls. The bank manager at time would not get involved, which caused even a longer delay. 3. Since they took so long to get an appraisal on our house (6 months from application date) the housing market declined. 4. The comment about not verifying income is absurd since we provided our W2's three times and our bank statements. We have no other debts and if they bothered reviewing instead of just taking our money and delaying the process they would have noticed how much we have in the bank. Now we cant apply anywhere else for several months because of the appraisal. The last insult was that we are only getting $350 back of the application fee even though they turned us down. The reason is debt ratio to income- another way of saying they are keeping our money. This has to constitute fraud or misrepresentation!! We were guaranteed our money back if they declined us for any reason!

Chase helped me get into this problem and would not help me earlier on, though they did finally reduce my monthly mortgage payment a year ago, so my back taxes started to happen in order to pay their ridiculous monthly mortgage fee. Totally unethical practices and I know they are in trouble no with foreclosures.

I really wish that my mortgage company would take the extra step to try and help me. I am a single father whom got recently divorced and I have full physical custody of my three minor chidren. Times are very hard right now and I just wish I could get a little more help. I make my month to month payments but while I was going through my divorce I could not afford to make any and that is why I'm behind. I wish my situation would be taken into consideration, but not with Chase.

I have been trying since last year to modify my mortgage with Chase. I was advised initially, and only after taking a day off to call them and be transferred numerous times, that I was not a good candidate but could not tell me why. I have a job and could make the payment if it was lowered to meet the 50% loss of the property value. I applied again in March, and was again advised that I was not a good candidate, again with no additional information that could be provided to me and was treated very rudely. I have applied a third time, back in June and have not heard any thing and was told it would take up to 60 days. It is 60 days today and I called and was given 6 different phone numbers from the original number I called (which was on the 'help notice' to me and the number that was on the cover page for the modification dept. Each and every employee advised me that they could not help me in their department and finally the 6th person told me that it was a CHASE loan, (really?) and that is why no one could help me. I thought I was calling chase, that is the option I kept choosing!!!! I am frustrated and received my trustee sale notice yesterday on my door with a date of 9/10/09! NO ONE HELPED ME! I went through a divorce and was transferred to a less paying job - going from a manager to an underwriter, in the mortgage business and lost 50% of my income. I think I have extenuating hardship circumstances. If anyone knows any number that actually works, I would appreciate it. I have been given the following numbers; 866-550-5705, 877-530-1837, 800-437-4892, 800-446-8939, 800-336-3806 and today another number 877-419-6495 which was closed when I called. I HAVE FOUND NO ONE AT THIS COMPANY WLLING TO HELP ME, ONLY TO ASK ME INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE, TELL ME TO COMPLETE THE PAPERWORK THAT WILL BE MAILED TO ME, AND THEN WHEN I MAIL IT IN....IT GOES INTO SOME BLACK HOLE! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I received the loan application, it had a 1.8% discount point fee of $2300.00. He did not disclose this fee before I paid the $450.00. I did not accept their loan and they would not return my fee or return my phone calls. They are cheater & crooks that steals your money.

I fell behind in my payments. I was told by them that they could call me as they wished and would continue to do so until I committed a day and amount of payment. I asked them not to call me at work, my company has a policy of no outside phone use during buisness hours. Everytime they would ask me the same questions and I would supply them with the same answers. I feel their methods were harrasment, but probaly within the legal restraints of the law. I probaly could have gotten caught up but with all the late fees and misc expenses this was not possible. I believe I was as late three months and had that down to one month on a couple of occasions. I want to keep my house, but don't know how.

Just another whore bank of the government. They received billions in bailout money and they can't understand that tens of millions of people are out of work. There should be a freeze on all foreclosures for people who can't find employment due to the economic situation. Even if I end up selling my house, I won't get anything close to what I bought it for. This is not a company I want to do business with. I paid 2 months in advance on may 1st 09 and on june 5th I got a call from there collection company to demand that i make a late payment and then charged me $42 for a late fee and all this happened while there own records showed the payment was indeed made. It was the last week of june before they finally got that corrected. They do not work in a timely manner probably because its in there advantage to drag thing out like in this case where they make money on money they are not entitled to have. Every time I haaave called they transfere me from person to person and every person has to here the whole story and they transfer me again and I have to go over the story again and yes, every person tells me something different. Very unorganized customer service department. On july second 09, after I made the july payment, they took a second payment out of my USBank account without permission and after talking to 9 different people over 11 days as of now, my request for the immediate return of my $1000+ has been refused for various reasons. You dont have to be behind in payments for them to hassle you. If they hadn't purchased my loan, I would not have anything to do with them and yes I have told they that. I am probably going to refinace to get the papers out of there hands. By the time they return the money, it will be time to make another payment which is exactly what they are banking on and in the mean time, I am going to have to borrow money from my bank to make my other payments whish they really didn't care about when I told them what there actions were doing to me. They have addmitted they have the money but refuse to refund it until I send them a compy of my bank statement for reasons they could not explain and have no right to see. BE WARE. I would like to speak with the CEO but I am not allowed to do that. I think I'll try FOX news.

I can officially say i am really unhappy with the process I am going through with my loan modification at chase mortgage. Specifically Chase employees Jennifer Sweet and Kristy Morehart-Gallagher. They have provided me with non-useful information, lots of jargon, and never respond to my phone calls or emails. Definitely lack of customer service in terms of being prompt and timely with information, providing information, and lack of response. I would never do business with this company again. Watch out for people who are on here writing good things about this business on a BUSINESS COMPLAINT FORUM! I have spoken with a representative on the Board (office of the CEO) at CHASE who told me that she views these complaint forums and writes on them, what she writes I don't know but you can put 2 and 2 together. For reasons of their unethical business practices, they need to be brought to justice. People...the most powerful weapon thus far has been telling my story to people I pass by, friends and family members. Many have clipped their CHASE cards, canceled their CHASE cards, refused Chase as a lender and have inspired others to do the same. Just the number of people I have influenced is going to cost CHASE Millions of dollars of lost profits because the one's who have canceled or refinanced to another bank will not use them as debt provided ever. Just think what CHASE could have made from these people over 30yrs. I will continue on my campaign through blogs, creative marketing, news media and video media on you tube. I have many voice recorded conversations of them misleading and lying and also have had witnesses on the phone. I also video taped my conversations and have evidence of them admitting to doing things that are not protocol to their business standards. I condemn CHASE for the robbery of thousands of properties and I'm making efforts to expose their failed system of litigation.

I recently had my hours decreased at work which led me to not to be able to make a payment. I called chase to see if they had any programs to help me. I applied for a loan modification and it was denied because I wasn't 3 months behind. I asked if I could defer a payment, they said they don't do that. I asked what can you assist me with to bring the payment current. They replied you don't qualify for anything. After numerous calls to them speaking with so many different people, it was a disaster. Basically i keep getting collection calls with no help from them. I'm thinking about renting an apartment and filing bankruptcy. These people are not going to help us. I can't let these people destroy me any more. They are terrible, disrespectful, and liars. The more I came in contact with them, the more I became angry. I am to point where I don't want this house as long as chase is the mortgage holder.

The absolute worst customer service on the face of the planet. You cannot be assigned one person to take your case and you cannot be provided with individual extentions. Every time you call you talk to a different person and each different person tells you to do something other than what the person before told you. They tell you what documentation to send and then when you call back you get a different person who tells you that you need to send something else. It's the most frustrating experience I have ever encountered. They are rude and condescending and have no clue as to what the procedures are. I believe they pull bodies off the street, stick them in a chair with a phone and tell them to just wing it.

Chase raised my payments from $672.00 to $1400.00 due to $2000.00 past due taxes. I got a one year forebearance due to my MS from the city of Oak Park. Chase 12/07 paid my taxes that was in forebearance and tripled my payments. I tried to contact Chase of the error. Chase would not let me apply for a loan modification until I was at least 90 days past due to correct their error. After I signed the new modification 03/08, I never received the new statements. I made pmts without statements and the payments were never reported to the bureau. Isn't that illegal? Chase says the modification was never processed and to stop making payments because it was done improperly. It took Chase until August to process the loan modification that was done in March. Now I owe double what the house is worth. House went into foreclosure 02/09. I have an analysis at Chase by the name of Kelly Griffin and I have left messages on her answering machine since 02/09 and she has yet to call me back. I am however in touch with Chase atty's and they keep telling me I'm up for review. I want out of this house and I want nothing to do with Chase. I am disabled with MS since 1982. I just can't take anymore. Can you help? I have until 08/03/09 before I'm evicted. I decided today after seeing my credit report and owing double what the house is worth, I no longer can afford this house. I want to give them the keys if they will remove foreclosure status from my bureau and allow me to move somewhere else. After working for GM for over 30 years. I can honestly say Chase does not know the meaning of customer service.

Please contact me if you have had the same type of experience with Chase. We would like your story to add to our attempts to expose them. Contact us at (contentrr@hotmail.com) leave your name and a brief story. Below is our letter: Dear Mr. James Dimon, We are writing to file a complaint against Chase Home Finance LLC regarding the way in which we were placed on an inequitable repayment plan. We believe that there were unfair and coercive practices used when we were presented with a "forbearance agreement”. Based on our previous interactions with the Collections Staff, miscommunication and lack of follow up, we are requesting a call directly from an Executive Officer from Chase. Below is a time line of events that occurred between February 2008 and Present: In January and February of 2008 we were unable to make our monthly payments on our mortgage. In February, we received a notice of default stating that the amount due to bring our loan current was $2,371.62. Unfortunately, at that time we were unable to make that payment and were in the process of filing for bankruptcy. Chase Home Finance LLC was not listed in the bankruptcy filing because we believed we would be able carry out our payment obligation. We mention this only for the fact that due to the bankruptcy filing, Chase collection representatives were unable to speak with us regarding what we owed until the trustee had made a ruling on our case. April 7th, 2008, Chase sent out another letter stating that our loan was now in technical default and the overdue amount was now $7,244.48. We did not understand how the overdue amount could be what was stated in the letter. After doing calculations with our monthly payment and late fees, we found a difference of $2,501.24. This amount was beyond what we should have been charged. We contacted Chase regarding the discrepancy in charges but we were unable to speak with a representative due to our bankruptcy status. May 7th, 2008, we called Chase and spoke with Ken (x30976). We requested reinstatement costs and were told by Ken to call back. May 9th, 2008, we called Chase and spoke with LaKenya. She stated that Andrew at (866-316-9218) ext.30925 was in charge of our account. She advised that she was unable to reach Andrew, but checked on the reinstatement request. We were advised the request had been rejected because the loan was not in foreclosure and were advised that she would request it again in case they had made a mistake. We were advised to call back on Monday May 12th or Tuesday May 12th to see if they were able to send out the reinstatement costs. She stated I should try to contact Andrew (x30925) and if I could not reach him then I could call 800-628-1674 and that anyone there could help. May 12th and 13th, we called Chase again to attempt to obtain the reinstatement costs, but were unsuccessful. May 16th 2008, we received a letter from Usset, Weingarden & Liebo, attorneys to whom Chase had forwarded our loan for foreclosure. That letter instructed us to call their office for reinstatement requests and speak with one of their employees. We tried to contact the attorney at the number listed and left a message for a returned call. When we did not hear from them we called them at 1:15 p.m. on Monday May 19th. May 19th, 2008, we attempted to contact Usset, Weingarden & Liebo for a second time and once again left a message to return our call. A representative called us back to advise that we must call our mortgage company and they would be able to determine our reinstatement costs. She told us to call 1-800-628-1674 x2195. At 2:00 pm we called the number we had been given, which was Chase collections only to be instructed to call the Loss & Mitigation department at 866-316-9218. We contacted the Loss & Mitigation department and requested reinstatement costs. The representative put our call on hold and then without our knowledge we were transferred to a person’s voicemail. We left a message detailing our name, loan number, contact information to return our call, what was being requested and how we had been transferred to his voicemail. May 20th, 2008, after not receiving a call back we called and spoke with Ken (x30967). Ken advised that the request for reinstatement costs had been rejected again because the attorney fees were not put on the document. Ken also advised that our account was now being handled by another representative, Shunna Crockett (x30963). For the fourth time we requested reinstatement costs. Ken advised for us to call back in a few days and speak with Shunna. May 22nd, 2008, we called and left a message with Shunna. We advised her of the conversation we had on May 20th with Ken and that we were advised she was now in charge of our account. We asked for a return call within 24 hours or that we would call and request to speak with a supervisor. May 23rd, 2008, Shunna returned our call. We advised that we have been trying to obtain the reinstatement costs. We advised of our awareness that our mortgage was now five months behind although we have been trying to pay for the last 7 weeks. We advised Shunna that we could remit a down payment of $3,000 towards a repayment agreement. Shunna gave an option of one repayment plan that would raise our mortgage payment from $1161.14 to $1706. We advised Shunna that we needed to discuss the plan but that we were still requesting the reinstatement costs, now for the fifth time. Shunna said she put a request in for the costs which should be available no later than May 27th, 2008. May 27th, 2008, we called Shunna and left a message to return our call. We advised that we were following up regarding the reinstatement figures. We also advised that if we did not receive a returned call we will need to escalate to a supervisor in order to assist with our request. May 29th, 2008, we received a return phone call from Shunna. I made a stern attempt to get what we had been requesting for months. As I pressed Shunna for more answers to why she was unable to give us the payoff figures, she said that the company policies had changed from when we dealt with Chase in 2007, so now she was unable to give us those figures. When I asked Shunna about other options in finding out the payoff figures Shunna said she would need to send the total cost figures by mail and that they would only be good for 5 days. She expressed her concern as it would take five to seven business days to get the information we were requesting through the mail and even then, those figures would no longer be valid as the good through date would have expired. She stated that we would have to call in again and request the reinstatement costs to be sent to us. We expressed our frustration based on the misleading information and the lack of urgency to get the correct information so we could bring our mortgage loan current. I advised her that we were going to file another complaint with the proper regulating agencies to mediate this confusion. This was the same course of action we had to take when we had issues with our delinquent balance in 2007. Shunna advised we could give the agencies her name in the complaint and then said good bye and then she disconnected the call. May 31st 2008, we received a Federal Express letter from Chase Home Finance LLC with a forbearance agreement which spanned over the next 12 months and required a $3,000.00 down payment. The agreement was unexpected and was only valid through June 2nd, 2008. The agreement only gave us a few business hours to have the documents reviewed by Monday, June 2nd. We believe that this was done deliberately to give us no time to gain an understanding of the agreement or the financial obligations. We were advised that we had no other choice but to sign the agreement and send it back. We feel this was a coercive act of Chase; it was a plan that in our opinion guaranteed our failure to be able keep our payment arrangement. Chase did not collect any financial documents in order to determine what we could afford regarding the payment arrangement. The Forbearance Agreement we received included an additional cost for "Foreclosure Fees/Costs Advanced" totaling $2,964.50. June 2nd, 2008, we contacted Chase and spoke with Andrew (x30925), after we were unable to reach Shunna. We were trying to verify the process of sending the down payment via Western Union. During the phone conversation Andrew had stated that more than likely we would re-default on the loan, we felt this comment was unprofessional. After much hesitation we faxed in the forbearance agreement and made the down payment of $3,000.00 that afternoon via Western Union. We have been unable to get any information regarding how the $3,000.00 was applied to our mortgage. We have proven through our efforts that we are at all costs are trying to keep our home. We have proven that we have been able to pay Chase though they failed to act in these matters quickly and responsibly, thus costing us more money in unnecessary fees and expenses. When we defaulted in 2007, it was Chase that was found to be at fault for not responding in a professional manner. We met that obligation though it took 12 weeks for Chase to accept our money. We feel that Chase has again handled our account unprofessionally in the same manner we experienced in 2007. We have proven that we are trying to the best of our financial abilities to keep up with the new agreement. Under the current forbearance plan we have consistently paid an additional $640.00 over our previous payment amount even though the economy is under heavy stress. It is a blatant fact that the terms of the current forbearance agreement were set far beyond what we were able to pay without causing extreme financial stress and hardship to our family. There are three specific issues we need addressed by Chase Executive Management. We would like to discuss a change to our current payment plan as we are experiencing financial hardship due to current economic conditions. We need a detailed accounting regarding how we incurred $2,964.50 in foreclosure fees and expenses when the majority of the delay entering into a repayment plan was caused by unprofessional servicing of our account. Lastly, we have been unable to get a clear explanation regarding how our initial $3,000 was applied to our mortgage and need to have a detailed amortization including all funds paid under the current forbearance plan. We are also requesting that you delay the current Sherri f's sale date of June 2, 2009 due to the need for a detailed investigation into our case. We have chosen to contact you since we have made numerous previous efforts to deal with the Loss and Mitigation Department which have only resulted in what we perceive as unethical, misleading, and coercive business practices. We are prepared to take the measures we need to protect ourselves and expose this type of lender abuse. We are researching any legal action that may be appropriate and contacting various state, federal, and media agencies.

Interestingly enough they were rude and heartless enough that it was almost humorous. They told me they aren't interested in my hardship because I'm only the homeowner NOT the borrower. (Colorado property rights vs. mortgage holders?) Divorce, substance abuse, physical and emotional abuse and finally being left to fend for myself is not reason enough to ask for their help. I do realize it isn't their job to care. I'm a Christian so at least I was grateful for their honesty. Maybe someday I'll feel differently but presently - they seem very insensitive to our 'less than conventional' dilemma. They aren't willing to work with me because the 'borrower' does NOT want to remain in the house. (he's not legally allowed at the house by court order) My ex= has an illness and all the equity is spent and gone. He was able to get loan after loan on our home without my knowledge. Now we are divorced - I'm in the home, he is gone and the house is $200K upside down (at least). I'm just another casualty...but to my kids and I - I'm the one that has to try and find a solution.

Chase told us, that though we are customers with them AND are eligible for the government refinancing at today's low rates, we are not being allowed to even apply until June 17th. Chase states they have decided to divide citizens (customers) up into 2 groups. Phase 1 and Phase II clients. This means we can't even apply until June 17th and the rates then will be different than the 4.875 today. I feel that if we are all tax paying citizens and it is government money that chase shouldn't do this. CLEARLY the higher the rate refiancers get the more interest they will make. We are current in all payments and our credit score was over 700. yes, they did pull our credit before they told us we couldn't apply yet. 3 timess I've been told I will hear from a manager. No call yet. I am taking this to my congressman and senator to see if this is legal use of the government funds and program.

There is no "service" in their "Customer Service". They "re-do" your mtg telling you your monthly pmt will go down, and it does, then they add past due balances, penalties & interest to your "new" monthly payment without telling you any of this and the next thing you know, your "re-do" is now a higher monthly payment then you have ever had to pay before. THIS IS HOW CHASE HELPS THEIR CUSTOMERS??? Rediculous, unscrupulous and dishonest. Shame on them, may God forgive.

Alliance Bancorp was my original Lender. They filed a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy on July 13, 2007. Chase Home Finance being the Servicer was the first to know when I ceased making mortgage payments. A "Certifying Officer" of MERS (really just a lowly Chase employee" then assigned the Alliance Bancorp Deed of Trust to Chase Home Finance. This is not legal as Alliance Bancorp assets (Promissory Notes and Deeds of Trust) became assets of the bankruptcy estate and would need courts approval to transfer assets of the estate. Chase is stealing assets from the bankruptcy estates of many now defunct mortgage companies by way of these fraudulent conveyances. That is why they are dumping foreclosures at fire sale prices. Think about a thief who sells stolen goods really cheap to get rid of the evidence and pick up some quick cash. This is easily proven yet the Bankruptcy Courts are turning a blind eye to this massive scale looting.

Agree with much of what has been written. Our mortgage was sold to Chase without our knowledge. Since then it has been a very poor experience. Every attempt is routed to a call-center with poorly trained representatives. A few are friendly, most are not. When we had trouble with mailed payments being "held" for extended periods we agreed to automatic drafts. They managed to draft more money than agreed on (they even admitted it was their fault). 4 weeks of constant battles, having to fax "proof" of their error to them (we were given 3 different fax numbers - each time we faxed, called to verify they claimed they hadn't seen it and gave us a different fax number) Not to mention they would never give us a number for the mysterious "research department". They added a forced escrow that increased the payments with no warning. They tried to force us to pay THEM for our insurance premium - it took faxing our proof of coverage & binder multiple times to stave that off. They offer absolutely no recourse, no way to contact. They have refused our requests to send them required paperwork IN WRITING by mail. Conversations & agreements are never noted and frequently "forgotten" about. Recently job loss caused a setback - working with them is pretty much futile. In fact, at one point my husband attempted to pay them as was told they would not take it. While I don't expect perfection, I do feel that there is something seriously questionable & unethical about their practices. I would very strongly recommend that you do not use this company.

They are unwilling to work with me and have closed my request out. They say my unemployment is to low to work with me and said I must be late for them to even to to but and that is doesn't really matter they won't do anything unless a have substancial income. Isn't that what half the country is facing now? They told me my house was worth xxx and it's down over $100,000.

I have been trying since September to get a Letter of Foreclosure Notice from them so I can make a 401k withdrawl to bring my account current. On the couple of attempts that I have been successful in my request , it has taken them at least three weeks for them to get the letter to me. By then I owe for another month! 80% of my calls to Chase Home Finance have ended in disconnections after being put on Hold and transferred multiple times!! Didn't they say they were suspending foreclosures until sometime next month? If so, why am I in foreclosure? The overpaid executives have taken our tax money and they are and hired morons to manage the phones and accounts. I have sent my payment 10 days before the grace period by mail, and for some reason they say they have not recieved it. My father has had them do the same thing. Now they are trying to charge me a late fee. I told them that all the other bills I sent out at the same time got to their destination in 2 days and posted by 3 days. I explained to them that I was sure they recieved my payment, but decided to hold the payment until after the 16th of the month so they could charge me a late fee. They have taken my money through taxes for their bailout, now they are tyring to screw me with late fees that are bogus. Chase bank sucks!!!!!!

You explain, with a name, to the person that you just spoke to and they say that they can only tell you what they know and whatever someone told before hand is essentially wrong!!! This is the WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH AND THEY SHOULD ALL BE FIRED FOR MISLEADING THIER CUSTOMERS!!!! We are stuck in this hole called chase and with a VA loan, makes it harder to look to move it. I hope that this company falls and falls hard. God Bless Everyone (including us!) trying to deal with these simpletons and keep plugging! You worked to hard for too long to just let some company destroy your lives. Take the power back to the blue collar man and let these suit wearing, pencil pushing lackeys know that we are finished being pushed around!

After hundreds of nightmarish communications with Chase involving the sale of our home during a race against the "foreclosure" clock we finally got it done (no thanks to Chase who made our realtor's life a living hell). We closed on 10/31/2008. Just received a letter from Chase (2/2/2009) telling us that our homeowners policy had "lapsed" and that they had placed an insurance binder on the loan from 10/31/2008 to the present and that they would be charging us for it. When I went to the website Chase sent me to to explain our "lack of insurance" I wasn't able to login because their server knew that the loan had been satisfied. Typical

Wow, I don't feel so bad now. I just got off the phone with Chase and I cannot believe the phone chase they put me through only to refuse a workout program. I asked them wouldn't it be better to get your money back through a workout program than end up with nothing and they said that was the bank's policy. I told them that other institutions were working with their customers. Got the statement that that is their policy. Very poor business model. Extremely shortsighted. It didn't help that it sounded like I was talking to someone in India either. SHAME!!!!!!!!

Its absolutely absurd, what they are doing. 4 years in dealing with chase, and cfic homemortgage. after a divorce i fell victim to amc home morgage. making all payments on time to rebuild credit,at the same time raising three kids, and working with a severe disability.once decided to use the online banking to get quotes. i decided ti go with chase due to there promises. soon to find out cfic had been charged with fraud regarding the hud 1 disclosers, and had to pay back funds.resumed with chase until youngest son came down with an acute double kidney failure.immediatrly contacted chase to refinance in good standings.they took my appraisal fees, waited 3 months to find out that chase DOES NOT HOLD THE LOAN NOR DO THEY INTEND TO HOLD THE LOAN.being nehind and after 138 phone calls, over 60 corrasponding letters, they promised a modification. again several months and phone calls to the loss litigation dept. they kicked out the first mod,due to there lack of integraty, and fair practices. to top it off there forcing a 1700.00 mortgage tp 1 2700.00 payment with no factuall documentation to support there promises. we need to network and prevail troy

every time i call i get a different person telling me different things to do. i dont know who to believe or what to do. a company this size should know what they are doing and should be able to provide help to their customers in order to order foreclosure or bankruptcy. The employees shold also be aware of the current guidelines so that they are not telling customers different scenarios every time they call.

They are very poor in customer service and judgement. Our financial situation changed back in 2003. My wife was pregnant and on bedrest for 6 months. The company she worked for when we applied for our loan fired her. She was out of work for 10 months. I was struggling to pay rent and bills by myself. When she did start working again she was making significantly less. We got behind and Chase kept offering to help, but they would forgive the amt. owed and raise our mortgage. At one point or mortgage went from $876/month to over $1,620/month. We could not keep up those payments and so we ended up filing Chapter 13 to stay our home. Calling them always resulted in them directing us to our bankruptcy lawyer. I had requested letters from Chase in order to get money from my 401K to handle emergency funding of bills and mortgage. They would agree to send it and no letter ever arrived. I would call back and get redirected to contact my bankruptcy lawyer. I have had the worst customer service ever with the Chase bankruptcy dept. They should all be reviewed and fired. There refusal to talk with us or any client has been the reason for so many people losing their homes. If we can't work with them an speak to someone, outside of just paying the mortgage, how does anyone re-evaluate your loan situation and your ability to pay your mortgage. They are simply horrible and I have encouraged every friend, family member, and business to never utilize Chase Mortgage Co.

I realize I haven't been the best client due to my ARM loan; however EVERYtime I contact Chase I receive a different story/solution and when I follow through with what they have previously have suggested I am told "Well I am sorry you were told that but that isn't correct this is what you need to do" and of course I would receive that exact response when I sttempted the follow through. Also one of their specialist over a year ago gave me a "plan" to follow which assisted me into getting into this current situation. I would not suggest getting involved with Chase unless you have a fixed mortgage and obtain 3rd party help if you need assistance dealing with them with legal matters.

The company does not seem to be willing to work things out with the borrower. I had applied for a refinance and was told they were sure it would be approved and required me to pay a $375 application fee. I could have used the application fee for part of a mortgage payment but I was assured the refinance would be approved. Then the current credit situation occurred and none of the mortgage companies were approving loans. I'm now in pre-foreclosure and none of the representatives of Chase ever informed me that I was going to be sent a notice of default. I was told to not make a mortgage payment in trying to catch up and wait until the analyst got back to me regarding the owner of the loan accepting a modification. I've called Chase and left messages for the analyst that I was told I needed to talk to, yet the analyst has not called me back. i was told that if I mailed in any payment, it would be returned.

I have read that Chase has worked to assist 400,000 of their mortgage holders into better loans, removing the high rates and ARMS. These things were never offered to me. In fact, they doubled my payments and I could not make those...after sending me back 3 months payments I made in one month as they sent everything to the lawyer so they would not accept anything from me unless all back payments. The doubling up of payments was the only offer made to me. The refused to lower the interest rate.

Chase has demonstrated a combination of deception and incompetence. My payments on my Florida mortgage started to fall behind in August 2008. Because of foreclosure threats, I went to a lawyer who called their collection department and spoke to a "Ms.Samuels" in my presence over a speaker phone. She offered to consider a modification, which she said would take 4 months. The only requirement was that I continue to make monthly payments while the modification was considered. So I paid in October and November. In December I received a foreclosure notice from a Florida law firm, despite Chase's promise to hold off on it while the modification request was considered. When I called "Ms. Samuels" she said her supervisor, a "Brandy Murphy" would try to halt it. A week later, no change had been made, "Brandy Murphy" did not return my 5 or 6 phone calls and "Ms. Samuels" had left a message on her voice mail saying she no longer worked in that department and leaving no way to reach her. For about a week more, there was a record of my modification request, then it disappeared from their files. I called the NY State Banking Association to lodge a complaint, and whoever answered told me I had no recourse because nothing had been put in writing. I told him that my lawyer was a witness over speakerphone that a consideration of a modification had been offered. He pooh-poohed it, then began to lecture me as if I were a child and, essentially, defended the interest of the bank. I had to hand up on him. I later found out that my Chase loan had been farmed out to Fanny Mae, and that because Fanny Mae foreclosures are on hold, I never should have been served a foreclosure. After numerous phone calls and phone transfers I finally reached a supervisor in the modification department who verbally agreed to consider a modification if I would send the proper papers ("Ms. Samuels" hadn't even mentioned the need for any papers.) I'm in the process of gathering information for a modification request now, but yet again, I have only verbal assurance that they will consider one. And by the way, when I mentioned to them that I lacked one year of tax documents because I was behind in filing, they must have reported it to the IRS, because I got a letter from the IRS demanding that I file immediately for that year. This second verbal assurance of theirs isn't very reassuring, especially since I continue to get occasional calls from out-of-it bill collectors asking me to pay all past mortgage fees and get up to date. None of them seem aware of any modification request or foreclosure. The modification department does not seem to share records with them. Finally, there is no continuity. If you call and ask to the person who called you, they refuse. If you ask the name or extension of the person calling, he or she will often refuse to tell. Is all this Kafkaesque behavior legal?

When you have a medical emergency situation that keeps you from working it is very different from just not making your payments. I had open heart surgery in April 2008 and did not get to go back to work until September. Only worked a few weeks and got laid off. Was off work until December 2008 went back to work and worked about 3 weeks. Was laid off. Behind on all our payments.

"People" I have fought this monster and won three times. They do not want to be exposed and the threats to do so seem to cause them to act like the mortgage company they should be. Entities DO NOT have morals, people do so don't expect them to feel sorry for you. All they see you as is a policy number that is or isn't current with the obscurity of the agreement. My wife and I have 4 children so you can see that this is personal. We really need to fight for our children. I have experienced the same things I am reading on this compliant forum. There needs to me a mass flood of information about their deeds sent to our congress, news, radio and other places like dateline, night-line, Good Morning America and more. We can do it!!!! don't believe the lie that you are unable to influence the situation. I have had a commercial advertisement removed from being aired on the TV. I have had a product removed off the selves of 200 Menard's stores around the nation. My Attorney General along with the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) charters, regulates, supervises all national banks) assisted me in my foreclosure because I WAS NOT going to fight this alone. Make sure you RECORD every conversation you have with the people at the company because when they get you to spin with their words, It seems that everybody but you forgets what was said. Make sure to call them with other people on your side of the line listening in and even with a freedom to ask questions if they have any for the specialist at Chase. THEY CAN BE BEAT AT THEIR GAME. I am nothing special but they KNOW MY NAME. I fought for 12 weeks for my house and I had the money to pay up the delinquent amount. VERY OBVIOUS they wanted the write off. I am sending this forum to my Congress person and to many other places until WE ARE HEARD. I have also influence about 15 people to either drop or decide to not go with Chase in any business they do. THAT IS VICTORY!!! that is about 5-10 million dollars less over 30yrs that Chase will not make. when people wake up and start doing business with people with a good business history and not with businesses with a evil corruption history THEN WE WILL BE MAKING HISTORY AND PROTECTING THE FUTURE OF OUR CHILDRENS CHILDRENS. CHASE...may the money you have taken from ill gotten gain and obscure practised turn into gravel. Your deeds will come into the light of day and one day you will be out of business. If you are interested in the history of your unrepeated lender, check out the links below because Chase is still up to their dirty old tricks. Tell the world what you are going through. If you choose Chase again then don't complain about the future of this nation!!! http://www.consumeraffairs.com/finance/chase_mortgage.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNYHkCatPFo&feature=related http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/06/14/AR2005061401609.html

WOW! I thought I was alone. Reading all these complaints about Chase Bank makes me wonder why a bank that has caused so much heartache to people who are really trying to pay off what there behind on their mortgage, cause them to lose their homes. It's so sad to read all these complaints which in almost every case Chase Bank employees treated me the same. I've always paid my loan on time, lost my business, called them from the begining and they were Rude, I had to talk to ten different people who don't know anything, supervisors are useless, keep telling me to call back in a few days and putting me behind on my mortgage even more when I want to make a P & I payment. UNREAL! This banks CEO, whoever is on top should get a wakeup call and feel the pain all of us hardworking individuals that fell into hardship because of loss of income (temporary) but who struggle to keep in touch with Chase bank and they just don't care and don't want to work with you. And they have the nerve to state on their statement "WE REALIZE YOUR FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTATCES MAY HAVE CHANGED, AND WE ARE HERE TO HELP IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE". What liars! This is a false statement and they should put "WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SITUATION AND TOO BAD PAY US WHAT'S DUE OR WE WILL TAKE YOUR HOME BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT WE LIKE TO DO". They should be ashamed of themselves. I can't wait to get rid of them I will make sure anyone that will listen knows what an awful bank they are. Hopefully they will run out of business.

BANK BAILOUTS BUT WHAT ABOUT THE REAL “AVERAGE JOE” ?????? THIS IS MY STORY OF WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE THE “AVERAGE JOE.” To Whom It May Concern: I looked up on the BBB and I am just wondering HOW Chase Home Finance can get away with what they do? I read over 500 negative experiences that the "Average Joe" has gone thru with Chase. Everyday people that have had some bad "factors" in their lives, people that are truly middle class- assets to society. And the one thing that help them get thru the rough patches, going to their home at night... is being RIPPED out from underneath them. And whose to say the "life-factors" will soon subside and they will be able to make good with Chase or any home lender but it has already gone to far and is to late. You hear, the middle class, the middle class. We seem to be getting the short end of the stick - ALWAYS. We work hard, we stay off welfare, we don't ask for hand outs but when things get rough we get dropped. Does society want us to lose? Does the government want us to get on welfare and look for hand outs? Not be a contribution to this great society? I myself have gone thru some really rough "life-factors" and I am beside myself on what to do. I find myself ignored, alone and wondering if I give in and give up then maybe I can get on some food stamps and feed my family steak and shrimp from the grocery because Lord knows I can't afford to buy it now as the "Average Joe." Now the real reason I write. My home was hit by hurricane Ike. Here is my story. I need some help or guidance - PLEASE. I am not asking for handouts but just a dang break. I am writing to you in hopes that I can find some help for my family. We, like many others, suffered damage to our home during hurricane Ike, but because of mistakes made by our insurance carrier and our mortgage company, we are now in danger of losing our home to foreclosure. Our roof was damaged during the storm along with the sheetrock and carpet. We filed a claim with our insurance carrier, Allstate, the day after the hurricane and began cleaning and removing wet carpet and sheetrock to make our home as livable and safe as possible. Our son was born with seven distinct heart defects, so respiratory concerns, like mold, are a very serious situation for our son. We heard back from our insurance agent two weeks later notifying us that we would not be eligible for any type of coverage because we did not have a windstorm policy, only a standard homeowners and flood policy. I was shocked. This just couldn’t be right! We had two homes covered with Allstate with the same coverage on both homes. The second home was my mothers’, which we were able to keep rented since 2004 when my mom lost her long battle with cancer. We have kept this home as a source of income to pay my mom’s funeral expenses and additional medical expenses for my son. Luckily, the appropriate policies were all in place on this home, so I was confused when we found out our home was not covered. At this point, I asked my agent how this could have happened. He stated that he sent the windstorm policy invoice to me and to Countrywide. I quickly pointed out that Countrywide did not hold my escrow, Chase did. This was the first mistake. Furthermore, I never received an invoice. I have lived in Texas most of my life and am aware of the importance of insurance living on the Gulf Coast. I questioned my agent about where the invoices were sent, and I requested that copies of this invoice be faxed to me. After receiving the faxed copy of the invoice I immediately noticed that the invoice had the incorrect city and zip code for my home address. This was the agents’ second mistake. I quickly called my agent and explained that the invoice shows an incorrect address, so how could I have received the invoice? At this point, my agent simply stated “this is not our issue, you are not covered and you need to take this up with your mortgage company.” My agent basically washed his hands of the situation and left us frightened and desperate. To be perfectly honest, I was confused. I then pulled all of my past insurance statements and tried to backtrack to figure out what had happened. I noticed the last page of my homeowner’s policy stated that you cannot have an active homeowner’s policy if you do not maintain windstorm coverage. However, Allstate and my agent issued a homeowner’s policy and accepted the payment for this policy while allowing the windstorm policy to lapse. Again, I tried one last time to work this out with Allstate, and my agent reassured me that this was not an error made by their office, and that I needed to contact my mortgagor. I first contacted Chase on 9/08. I explained my situation and that Allstate claims that Chase did not make payment on the windstorm policy, only the homeowner’s policy. Chase insisted this was incorrect and informed me that the insurance policy had been paid and therefore any damages to my home were my financial responsibility. This statement did not make sense to me and I commented that since I was escrowed with Chase the windstorm policy should have been included. Again, Chase insisted “the policy” was paid. I then contacted my Allstate agent and informed him that Chase had, in fact, paid the policy. My agent again stated Chase only paid the homeowners, not the windstorm policy. By this time, three weeks had passed and I am only getting the run around from my insurance carrier and my mortgagor. So, I contacted Chase to ask for leniency on my payment date and Chase agreed. I composed a letter to Chase describing what had transpired, including that the windstorm policy had been mailed to Chase but, had not been paid. I faxed this letter and a copy of the windstorm invoice my agent faxed to me at my request. I faxed this to Chase three times a day for an entire week beginning on ___9/22____ and ending on ______9/26__ . The following week I received a letter from Chase stating that I would be charged for “their policy.” To be honest, I was a bit confused…but, relieved I would be getting help. I then found out that I would be charged nearly $6000.00 for a one year windstorm policy. But, that this would enable me to have windstorm coverage and I would be finally be able to begin repairs to my home. I received an additional letter this week. Now again, I am confused and I feel I am being taken advantage of. Chase has “tacked on” an additional $13,000.00 to my mortgage and my monthly payment has increased from $1500.00 to $2500.00 per month. I need to share a bit of personal history so you can better understand the situation I am in and that we are simply out of resources and options. We simply cannot afford the repairs on our home. We cannot afford this increase in our monthly mortgage payment, and Chase has indicated they will not release the insurance money for the repairs since we are behind on our mortgage, even though Chase granted us an extension on our monthly payments. My mother passed away in 2004 after more than 10 years of battling cancer. When my mom passed, I became my 12 year old twin brothers’ legal guardian and they moved into my home. My eighteen year old sister also moved in with us. Financially this was a great burden to us, but our first priority was taking care of family. So, in 2005 we needed a larger home and purchased the home we are currently in. Unfortunately, we were not as educated as we should have been and purchased this home with an ARM loan at our lenders suggestion. She assured us this was only offered to people with good credit and we believed this information. We put a down payment of $23,000.00 on this home, all the money we had saved in the hopes we would “get ahead” with a large down payment and we would have a home large enough for the entire family. We soon found out that the ARM was a very bad decision and our mortgage rate rose up to 10.5 % . In 2006, we found out we were pregnant! We were excited and this baby was a ray of sunshine coming our way. I am sad to say that soon after we found out that our son was suffering from “1/2 heart syndrome”, severe heart disease and 7 heart defects. After my son was born, I was unable to work, because he required 24-hour attention and care and we could not afford at home nurse care. I tried to file for unemployment to help with bills, but was denied because I was “physically able” to work. This financially handicapped our family and we had to get multiple loans to keep our household afloat. In 2007, I returned to work and we began re-building our finances and re-financed our mortgage as it was at 10.5% and we were barely making ends meet. When we re-financed we lost nearly $12,000.00 of equity? And now in 2008, we are fighting through the aftermath of Ike. The estimated cost for repairs is _85,000.00 We just cannot afford an attorney, but feel we are not being treated fairly by our mortgage company and possibly our insurance agent. We accept full responsibility for the mistake we made with our adjustable rate mortgage and have learned from that mistake. But we do not feel that the mistakes made by Chase and Allstate were our fault. We are currently in default on our home, and we are horrified at the possibility of losing our home. We are simply asking for help and direction to save our home so that we may rebuild it and our family.

I find myself ignored, alone and wondering if I give in and give up then maybe I can get on some food stamps and feed my family steak and shrimp from the grocery because Lord knows I can't afford to buy it now as the "Average Joe." I was injurd at work then my roof caved in and I had to pay out of pocket to have it repaird. Chase has been unwilling to help from the beginning. They told a hud counselor I had that I was approved for a loan modification and was awaiting an available counselor then their lawyers sent me a letter saying they were filing and ex parte order to lift the stay on my home. I think that was wrong.

Up until now I have always made my payments and never asked for anything. You would hope to believe that when someone with good standings is asking for help that the banks would try to help. Instead they would rather let me and my 2 kids have no home. My mortgage is $2250 a month and that is everything I make in a month. I have to feed my kids and have transportation to work. I am not asking for a free ride just a short term fix until things get better. I offered to pay $1600 and put it on the market and try to sell it for what I owe but that wasn't good enough. What a shame it will cost Chase more to foreclose on my home than it would to adjust my payments until it sells.. What is wrong with that picture.

My son (co-owner), his son had surgery. Co-owner had a change in jobs. New job does not allow overtime. Work had to be done to the roof. Mortgage got so behind making it impossible to catch up the past due at the time. Was wondering if there was any programs out there to help get bac on track. due to the 700 billion dollar bail out program.

The REFI thru HOME123 was fraudulent. They baited and switched. They put a fictitous amount of salary even when I provided them with my docs. They were not available when I tried to cancel the loan within the 3 days. The appraiser over inflated the home value etc. Then HOME 123 immediately sold the loan to JP Morgan Chase. I tried repeatedly, even before I got into trouble with my payments to work with JP Morgan Chase. They refused. That was in the fall of 2007. I contacted the CEOs office etc. NO help and they said so! I told them I owned the house 10 years and that they had held a mortgage in a previous refi and they should be able to see my good record. Be careful who you do business with. You might be funding home grown corporate terrorist. Think about it very carefully before you use this bank for loans, credit cards or lending. Why build them stronger by using them. If they where funding the aborting of 1 year old babies would you still use them even though you pay off the credit card balance at the end of the month? They are doing bad business and have been since they have been in business. I almost lost my house to them last year due to their misleading and abusive lending practices. It took me 12 weeks, the Attorney General, The OCC and about 20 people inside the company of JP Morgan Chase along with my own family members and friends listening in on the phone conversations, to finally stop the sale. I sent a certified letter to the CEO and CFO of Chase. A call came to me the next day from the Office of the CEO saying that they are ready to get this confusion resolved. We Sent a certified check in the amount of almost $9,000.00 to the place they instructed and Guess what????Yes, they lost it for about a week and a half even Though somebody from their office by the name of John signed it. I am still stuck with this lender and it's devastating that I have no choice but to keep them as my lender at this point in life. This business deserves to be condemed. Below are some forums and past and present history of the JP Morgan empire. CHASE: to run after (usually with hostile intent; chase, put to flight, follow (after, on), hunt. To persecute, harass, be chased away as game flying enemy, in war; desire to obtain, as pleasure, profit, fame, &c. earnest seeking. A Little History: Chase Bank in Nazi-occupied Paris after Pearl Harbor was doing millions of dollars' worth of business with the enemy with the full knowledge of the head office in Manhattan? Gold that had been looted from the national banks of Austria, Holland, Belgium, and Czechoslovakia, or melted down from the Reichsbank holdings of the teeth fillings, spectacle frames, cigarette? cases and lighters, and wedding rings of the murdered Jews. http://coat.ncf.ca/our_magazine/links/53/morgan.html More History: They supported the Nazis in a HUGE way. In fact they channeled more money from US-based corporations to Nazi funding than anyone else. ENRON SCANDAL: SEC Charges J.P. Morgan Chase In Connection With Enron's Accounting Fraud J.P. Morgan Chase Simultaneously Settles Charges for $135 Million The Securities and Exchange Commission ('Commission') today charged J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. with aiding and abetting Enron Corp.'s securities fraud. The Commission's complaint, filed in U.S. District Court in Houston, alleges that J.P. Morgan Chase aided and abetted Enron's manipulation of its reported financial results through a series of complex structured finance transactions, called 'prepays,' over a period of several years preceding Enron's bankruptcy. These transactions were used by Enron to report loans from J.P. Morgan Chase as cash from operating activities. The structural complexity of these transactions had no business purpose aside from masking the fact that, in substance, they were loans from J.P. Morgan Chase to Enron. Between December 1997 and September 2001, J.P. Morgan Chase effectively loaned Enron a total of approximately $2.6 billion in the form of seven such transactions. http://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/lr18252.htm J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. agreed to pay $2.2 billion to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging the bank helped Enron Corp. report misleading financial results, the latest fallout from the accounting scandals of the late 1990s. Chase became the second major investment bank in less than a week to resolve claims over the demise of the Houston energy firm. Regulators and plaintiff lawyers accused Chase of funneling $2.6 billion to Enron in the form of disguised loans between 1997 and 2001. By not acknowledging the payments as debt, Enron made its books look better. BUT TO THIS DAY THEY CONTINUE TO DO BUSINESS AS USUAL? I tried to work with them I was always for about 6 months behind one month payment so I called and asked if they could just defer on payment and put it at the end of my pay off and they said no then I asked if I could refinance and they said you have to be current. Then I was told to just save my money and see if we could work out a modification plan and that did not work they asked for more than I could save to save my house I am now looking at possiable foreclosure. The people that work in customer service or what ever they call it are very rude and not helpfull at all they come across as not knowing anything that can help you and they do not find any one to help you. They charged me for insurance on my home saying I did not have any and I sent them the proff and they never gave me back the money or took it off my payment to make it less, this is one of the reason's I got behind in the first place. They do not give straight answeres they give you the run around. Not happy with them at all I have had my home for 18 years and never had as much problems as I have had in the last 5 years after Chase Bank took my loan.

The customer service peope are rude and just keep pushing us along with all kinds of excuses. We have had it. I've been fighting for almost 2 years to keep my house. 2 times it's been in litigation. The first time in litigation was like being in the Twilight Zone. I had the finances to pay up this terroristic lender but about 15 people. supervisors and bean counters, mislead me for 12 weeks. I recoded all conversations along with having the phone monitored by 2 other people I had listen in. They are abusing their clients and this is very clear. I contacted My Attorney General and filed a complaint to investigate the situation. I also contacted the OCC and file a complaint with them also. I had a couple of members of the family who work for City Group tell me Chases litigation department was doing illegal acts according to the law so my family members got the name, number and address to the CEO and CFO office of chase and had a personal certified letter sent over night to the big dogs with a threat to take this to the media and fight at all cost to protect ourselves from what we believe to be misreprensentation. I got a call the next day from the office of the CEO saying we need to take care of this right away. Attorney General got the sheriff sell postponed for another month while the OCC was giving Chase a very short time to respond to our complaint. Long story short..We had victory over the deception of the enemy due to much prayer and much wisdom.I came fighting with the Calvary and not alone. It shouldn't take this much trouble to get the truth of our options to save our house. ! year later my house when into litigation again and they started with the same time wasting, misleading crud again so I reminded the bean counter on the other line about how I understand the process very clear and demanded they give me the information i was asking for or I will file another complaint with the OCC and my Attorney General. The bean counter working for Chase gave me her name to put on the complaint and we hung up. 2 days later we had a Fedex letter come to our door from Chase with the new monthly payment plan that had our delinquent amount of $7000.00 rolled into the monthly mortgage payments for the next 12 months. They did it right! WOW Did they see that We would fight them at all cost and never give up just like the last year. We don't need lawyers for this. The OCC is free and the Attorney General is free. Pleas file a complaint with these Regulators. They will not make a big issue out of this until there is a high volume of complaints flooding there office. I advise you all to flood the media,OCC, Attorney Generals office and state Reps office with your complaint stating that we want justice and will not leave you alone until you start addressing this lender abuse. You guys can win if you keep diligent. May God be your defender and may Chase be repaid in the same measure it has measured out. I want them out of business...So be it.

When asked to rework our mortgage into a longer term with a higher rate to lower the payment to a more affordable one, their response was "Due to your payment history with us, we can't help you". We were 30 days late once or twice in 4 years, but frequently 15-29 days late and paid ALL of the late fees they charge with each payment. In other words they have told us - "we like the extra $$$ we get from you being late a lot and it looks like we might be taking your home from you soon anyway so either way is a win win for Chase - sorry". Also, as others have said their customer service is terrible and that's an understatement! By the way, Chase bought the note from my original mortgage lender. If Chase buys your note, refinance it through someone else as soon as you can!

I have sent three requests via fax to various (Jason Campbell, Jennifer Hood etc...) agents that call saying they want to help me and my family of five remain in our house. My realtor has been helping talk with them and a new person came back today and told her that we still had not sent in a complete request? I have fax confirmations for everything. I am going to send a letter to every damn Senator alive, HUD, the Attorney General etc. This is ridiculous. I am about to give up an short sale and pray that I do not have to go through bankrupcy to clear everything. I am furious and frustrated. I have had some nice people on the phone but I have also had many many many *#@##@holes. I am to the point that I will not answer the phone anymore because I get false promises of hope and requests for more requests for data just to push me closer to the Trustee Sale date. I am in a chapter 13. I recently fell behind on one months payment due to some unforeseen money problems. I am aware there is a ten day (from the date of their bankruptcy attornys letter)right to cure the default and knew i would have no problem taking care of it in time. Chase has a DeptG7-PP that handles all payments from their customers in bankruptcy. Problem is they have two different addresses for this same DeptG7-PP. I mistakenly sent the payment to the PO box not the street address. The payment arrived three days before the cutoff time according to the Post Office but apparently the two sections of the same DeptG7-PP do not work together because they did not send it to the other section until three days later, which made My payment one day late! I received a letter for a stay of relief motion from Chase,s attorneys to start foreclosure proceedings. They are holding on to the two payments I sent after that and instead of being 1 month late, I will now be three months late. I cannot get angry at the customer reps as they are only doing their jobs. Just at Chase's Policies for the way they treat their customers. No slack whatsoever!

AT FIRST THE PEOPLE AT CHASE WERE VERY MEAN THEY DIDN'T RETURN PHONE CALLS AND TOLD ME I DIDN'T RETURN THERE AND PUT ME INTO FORECLOSURE BEFORE I NEW IT. MY PAYMENTS WENT FROM $1800 TO $2600 FOR SIX MONTHS. THE LADY THAT I'M WORKING WITH NW IS VERY NICE AND HELPS ME OUT A GREAT DEAL. THE ONE THING I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT IF I HAVE TWO LOANS WITH CHASE AVERAGING AROUND $25OO AND NOW IN FORECLOSURE ITS $3100 IF IT WAS HARD FOR ME BEFORE HOW DO THEY THINK IT IS FOR ME NOW. IT HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY EVERYTHING IS GOING UP BUT MY PAYCHECK REMAINS THE SAME. HARDTIMES ARE HARDTIMES BUT CHASE HAS MADE IT RIDICULOUS I AM GRATEFUL TO NOW HAVE AN CHASE AGENT WHO GIVES A DAMN. Chase could care less about you going in foreclosure. The lender did not provide enough information on taxes in escrow and the amount they would increase after the first year. In my case, P.M.I. with current taxes created a $650.00 monthly increase. My initial morgage was $1240.00 making my payments $1890.00 which I could no longer afford.

Unwilling to work with us on our mortgage. Was almost forced into a refinance. We had originally contacted Chase to pull out a home equity line of credit for about 5,000. After starting the paperwork for this it had been about 2 weeks since I had heard anything so I called. When I called to check on our loan's progress I was told the person that was handling that was fired and my only option was to refinance. I was behind on my mortgage from having to use money for that payment on a vehicle emargency (which is why we needed the line of credit). So I refinanced.... I ended up with an adjustable rate mortgage, my due date shrank from the 16th of every month to the 11th, my late payment went from 56$ to 90$, and the kicker is that they didn't pay my insurance or my property taxes as promised so I had that unexpected bill also. Now that I am behind 2 months on mortgage they have made no contact to assist in anything and when I have called to make payment arrangements I have been told I can only make arrangements when I am 3 months behind and if I allow them to direct debit the amount from my bank account.

Our interest rate went up to 12%. We payed it for a few months but couldn't keep up with it anymore. We sent in the hardship letter for modification with everything thry asked for. They said it would take 45-60 days, that was in sept. A month later they asked for another payment for good faith and we had to take a loan out to do it. We got letters from real estate investors and attorneys stating our house was up for auction on Feb 4th.We packed up our three children and found an apartment and moved out. As we were moving out and looking around our house for a final time, I got so upset that I called Chase for the Ceos' name and phone #. No one wanted to give it to me. Finally someone gave me the name and address and phone # in N.Y. I spoke to someone on his team and cried and complained about the way we were dismissed. Someone called me a week later and said they were willing to drop the payment $100.00. I told them they could have the house for $100,that would only help us out for one week of gas for our 2 cars, not our mortgage payment. A week later he called back with an offer to cut the interest rate in half for the life of the loan. We took the offer and are back in our home. However, because we were moving from our house to an apartment, we threw out alot of things for nothing because we had no room in an apt. (a riding mower, push mower, lawn tools, computer desk etc) paid for moving expenses, signed a contract to move in an apt. which we had to pay 2 months rent + one month rent cancellation fee just to get out of the lease totaling $2700.00. I asked Chase to compensate me in some way because they are the reason we were in that predicament and of course they said no. you see, we got out of our house before the auction date. After we moved into the apartment and I was speaking with Chase in N.Y., that was when we were told that the foreclosure sale was extended until June.We were never told that or else we would have never left our home and rented an apartment and had to pay them all these fees now. But of course Chase wants THEIR money so they added a total of $11,000.00 or so in fees and payments tacked on to our loan. I am happy to be back in our home, but really didn't need all of this added stress being that my father had passed away while all of this was going on.i feel that the only way you may get through to these people is to threaten them with complaining to the CEO. That is when they finally get up off their butts to do something, otherwise you are just a dollar sign and a #. Light a fire under these peoples butts because you know they don't want this to get to him!!!

CRH...I bet I can call this one because Chase is very predictable. They will hold your over payment for 30 days and just say that they credited it to the account. This is how they will justify keeping this payment. Just send a letter to the CEO and CFO giving them 48 hours to return the over payment. If no responce just file a complaint with the OCC and Your Attorney General. Don't deal with the bean counters in the the lower departments. If you desire to get things done fast Here is one of your main contacts. Mr James Dimon, Chief Executive Officer, JPMorgan Chase & Co. 270 Park Avenue New York, NY 10017-2070 Flood him with your complaints. They hate paper trails complaining about their abusive lending.

By mistake I made a double payment this month electronically from my checking account. I faxed the "research dept." my account info and asked them to contact me regarding receipt of the fax and for a prompt return of the overpayment to my checking account. After 3 days with no reply I called Chase to get a phone number for the "reserach dept." and was told that they do not have a number for that department. Thats's a crock! In the meantime I have to wait a week (or more) for the resolution and who knows how long before I actually get my money returned. Customer service just doesn't exist anymore ---anywhere!

I am amazed at what this business does to it's own clients. Pass the word people. Tell others of your experience. I have already influenced many because of my story and now Chase is Banished from receiving these peoples business. What a VICTORY...I won the battle and saved my house. Chase practises the arts of misrepresentation and effortlessly design ways to mislead. This is so they can weary their victims. It's time to sound the trumpets and prepare for battle with this home grown terrorist, Chase. This machine needs to be cut at the roots of what feeds it...Money! The more the people learn about the history of Chase, the less they will be willing to feed this monster what it needs to survive. They love to feed off of the lust of people so don't blame Chase fully. We just need to have a change of mind and really check into people before we decide to do business with them. If they have no money, they will have no empire. Some are in the habit of coming on hear to express their opinion that people should read there contract before signing it or that you shouldn't have gotten a loan beyond what you could have afforded. We are trained not to read the terms and definitely not understand them while at the same time enticed into thinking that we can trust the people who are setting up our loan. By the way, Gross income is not an accurate analysis for determining what a person can afford. So These people speak foolishly and have no clue about being IN the fight. They give their opinion only to insult people who are being victimized by this Lender. If you haven't been through it then you can't say a thing about it. In other words, you can't just see it from one side and think that your opinion is going to go beyond your perspective. Good luck men and women who are on the front lines of this war on corporate terror. Get the word out about this business and its DARK history.

I hope that all of you who are dealing with the evil business practises of Chase are also reporting it to the OCC, Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, Dateline, night line, Local news and radio and any other person who can assist you in raising hell fire. You need to make these reports so that your state will maybe consider doing something about it because of the high volume of complaints. Don't fight this alone. The OCC and your Attorney General is your best bet in acking fast to investigate the situation. DO NOT DEAL WITH LIDIGATION. All they do is wast your time and push you to make verbal deals they wont hold to. Trust me, I been through this and regained possession of my house. To really pack a punch, send your complaints to the CEO and CFO of Chase. Flood them with letters and watch them act much faster. I have family and friends that work for banks who have instructed me in what to do to deal with them. I have also spoken with a attorney friend and was strongly advised to flood them with letters for the reason of, businesses despise paper trails. Do not waste your time contending with the bean counters who work in the litigation department. The politics that are involved in this process will only waste more time which is not on your side. Do not believe a word they say. They are trying to get there write off. Remember to file a complaint with the OCC by downloading a complaint form from their website. Don't fight it alone. If your going to fight fight with the Calvary. God speed!

After 3 weeks of asking for a reinstatement figure Chase is in no hurry to get back to me with this. This is what they said...."we can't give you the cost over the phone because of the new policy, so we will send it out in the mail and it should arrive in 5 to 7 business days". I asked her what is this new policy and she said she couldn't tell me. This is how this works....The reinstatement figure is only good through to the 2nd of June. The reinstatement that got sent out today will arrive on the 2nd of June or beyond. So there is no way to know the cost until the letter arrives but then it's payoff figures are no good anymore. I can have it faxed to me but on their time schedule. How many people have fax machines in their house unless they are running a business. Wouldn't you think they would want to send the payoff figures out in a overnight express. "Heck"! make me pay for it! I'm just trying to get a simple question answered...WHAT DO I OWE. They do this deliberately. I hope this business is Judged in the measure it has dished and is dishing out. I'm sure the world would be a better place without the evil idea of Chase. Remember the people who work there are not our problem. The evil ideas and practises of Chase are what is defined as evil. This entity has history of doing evil and has not turned from doing so. Chase, May the Lord himself condemn your deeds and may your business and all of your unjust gain begin to rot from this day forward for your past and present abominations.

Be careful who you do business with. You might be funding home grown corporate terrorist. Think about it very carefully before you use this bank for loans, credit cards or lending. Why build them stronger by using them. If they where supporting aborting 1 year olds would you still use them even though you pay off the credit card balance at the end of the month? They are doing bad business and have been since they have been in business. I almost lost my house to them last year due to their misleading and abusive lending practices. It took me 12 weeks, the Attorney General, The OCC and about 20 people inside the company of JP Morgan Chase along with my own family members and friends listening in on the phone conversations, to finally stop the sale and contact someone with the authority to get this corrected. I sent a certified letter to the CEO and CFO of Chase before A call came to me the next day from the Office of the CEO claiming that they are ready to get this confusion resolved. Morgan Chase & Co. yesterday agreed to pay $2.2 billion to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging the bank helped Enron Corp. report misleading financial results, the latest fallout from the accounting scandals of the late 1990s. I had my mortgage sold from New Century to Chase. It seems that New Century is well known for doing this. It's funny that they can just sell your contract to other lenders like we are some slaves or something. I run a business and boy wouldn't is cool to sell my clients contracts to the highest bidder. Everybody wants to blame the buyer for getting loans that are beyond what buyers can afford, NOT TRUE. If this were the case, your faithful broker would have told you that the loan you need will have to fit your income and then pass that on to be under written to decide if you qualified. So if you qualified, then you must have been approved base on the info they needed to qualify you and this being your income mainly. So when people say," well you shouldn't have gotten a loan you couldn't afford", they themselves need to be asked the question, Who determined this approval and why? Are not the lenders smart enough to lend homes to people who have the right income. Did we not have to show this information to the lender in order to be approved. Say you have $200,000.00 to lend some body. Are you going to just lend the money to anyone? Try this one on for size...Are you going to base there income status on their NET WORTH OR GROSS INCOME??? Why do the lenders accept gross. Is it to qualify you for more? All lending is a risk. It could be six figure income today and cancer treatment bills tomorrow. Where is the mercy. Why can't they just role the late payment into the note you promised to back in three fold. People keep this subject fresh in the ears of your legislative and state Representatives. The more the racket, the more they come out of the closet. We need a full scale investigating into lender abuse. In the process of losing a home there is MUCH confusion that seems deliberate. Foreclosure is instant cash so don't think they are losing money because the down payment for a foreclosed home is pretty large. GREED! JP Morgan Chase has history of skeletons in the closet. Maybe do some research into the history of the Morgans and Hitler, the Morgans and Enron. Maybe it's best to let them take our houses. I don't want to fund their empire anymore now that I Know their history. What we sow into we will also reap. If they loose money their empire will weaken. Unless this company turns from its wicket business practises, I will continue expose their deeds to this generation who will not tolerate such immoral practises.

Chase is a company i agree with the policies. If these borrowers wouldnt pull out loans that they failed to read the contract on maybe they would see the fine print and realize the due date is the first. and notice that their grace period only pertains to there late charges they shouldnt pull out loans that they were unable to afford. And dont complain if your mistake to sign contracts without reading them results in your own loss!!! UNDERSTAND

I INFORMED THEM THAT MY HUSBAND WAS SICK BUT RECENTLY WENT BACK TO WORK AND THAT WE COULD START SENDING $1750 BI-WEEKLY, THEY ACCEPTED THE FIRST PAYMENT BUT SENT BACK THE LAST PAYMENT. I DO NOT FEEL THEY WANT TO WORK WITH ME.

I choice Poor because I have not received any documents regarding the foreclosure and I only found out about the sale date on March 11, 2008, when I call because a payment was returned to me. This was the second time. I tried calling but because I am at work during the day, I could not hold the phone for the lenght of time to contact Chase and they were closed when I arrived at home. I still have not received any foreclosure notice or notice of the pending sale of my home. I am waiting to hear from the negotiator that was assigned to my case today March 13th, to find out what has been decided.

Rude is understatement...Liars is also, I asked to speak to a supervisor and spent more than 45 minutes with her, only for her to be as rude as the first one, then after a few weeks realizing I never spoke to a supervisor...

I will never, ever, deal with Chase Home Finance every again in life. I don't care if they are offering Free Loans. They have been the worst company that I have ever dealt with. The Customer Service departments are Sorry as HELL!!!! They are paying them money that can be given to charity. Those Dumb Butts don't have any concern for your needs and are only working for the paycheck they get from the expensive mortgages that we pay. I had one guy argue with me saying they did me a favor by offering me the modification loan to save my house. I will be so glad when I can re-finane. If you are unable to get a loan and Chase is the only one that will give you one. Just hold out....because it is

Why be scared of the Muslims when we have a historical and greater threat among our own that hides in the real of OBSCURITY... JPMorgan / Chase Home Finance needs to be investigated for FRAUD, Fraudulent Practices, and Flat-Out Discrimination. All this in the Wake of what's going on up on the Hill and Mortgage Reform. WE ARE MORE THAN JUST A NUMBER IN THEIR DATABASE. These issues need to be looked into deeply and yes even in our own state. I just saved my house from a foreclosure but it took me and many other agencies like the FTC, Department Of Commerce, Attorney General and the OCC 12 weeks to get answers they would not give me personally. I almost hired an attorney to go after them because the situation was so obvious that they were misleading us to delay time in order to drive up more cost. I recorded and had monitored most of every conversation I had with this business. I believe they are deliberately confusing their many clients who are struggling with their payments thus using this confusion to gain the house. It wasn't until I had a letter written to the CEO and CFO of Chase that things began to proceed faster. I have family members who work for banks and who know how to word things. It shouldn't take this to get answers. It shouldn't take this many people to pressure Chase Home Finance LLC just to get the truth we are due. At the end of the whole ordeal, w! e ended up paying $8500.00 to bring every thing current. We later had the attorney fees waved but they just rolled it into the loan and said we didn't have to pay that month. Slap in the face. When I look into my children's eyes, I think about how this business has destroyed other families like mine and are still on their conquest to destroy more and you're letting them get away with this. I think about how they are in the business of destroying a generation willfully or through foolishness. Either way, they are CLEARLY doing this. Our leaders can't be that blind. Their practices hide in the realm of obscurity and with the wind of the peoples voices getting heavier, the fogginess of deception will one day be made manifest. The issues of corrupted practices with these lenders are still held in silence even by news agencies....WHY? If you know about these things and continue not to use your "Power of influence" then the people will say "Blood be on your hands". These issues are posted all over the web and are simple to research. I hope this issue will become a thorn in the side of the ones who have the power to change it. These are the REAL issues and we COMMAND an answer. It's time for business practices to regain a moral standard. I am waiting for the day when the people start marching and stand at the capital doors demanding justice. I am waiting for the day when these issues that remain in the shadows become manifest and the people see them for what they are, Immoral. I'm waiting for the day when the people wake up from the slumber of being ignorant and will no longer tolerate this type of threat to there liberties. J P Morgan Chase etc. has lost it's good name among the simple and I pray all that is stored up to bring the people justice will be dished out in full measure to this business because AGAIN it's been caught with it's hand in the money jar due to greed. This is nothing new. They have been caught before in scandals.

I think Chase Home Finance is not flexible with their loan policies. They're relentless with their phone calls, making me repeat the same story over and over again even though we had a medical tragedy in the family. They offer no solutions to refinance because of less than perfect credit. They told me that they are not a counselling service and they want their money and do not care how I procure it. I understand that they are a business and that I am a statistic; however, I do not appreciate some of the threatening messages.

I was giving a deal line to pay am amount of money to stop the sell. I receive money from the State of Michigan an two other company I had the money and a note from these company of when they were going to pay. The person I was working with told me and my caseworker that she had stop the foreclosure but never did. I did not know until Feb. that I had to move or sell or buy back my home because of the careless of this person at Chase Bank. The person I was working with at Chase Bank told me and put it in writing to my caseworker that I had until March 15, 2008 to pay the remaining balance but as you can see Chase is not for people can their homes Chase Bank is for itself only.

There has been VERY little communication from the loss mitigation team. We have received one letter and no phone calls with updates. We received a foreclosure notice with a sale date in March and when I called today I was told that our foreclosure is on hold and the March date is inaccurate

I really don't like Chase, I spoke with them a month ago and explain our situation and told them we were moving and have had our home for sale since November. I explained to them that I was going to pay when we received our tax refund check, he told me I needed to pay now, I explained to him I did not have the money to pay them and I would pay them the next month. Today (2-18-08) I went to make a payment and the lady at the branch told me to call the customer service #, so I did I spoke with 5 different people who told me that they could not help me and they would transfer me to who I needed to speak to finally when I got in touch with her she said there was a call before me and she would have to call me back. After an hour she never call so I tried to call her again she did not answer the phone and I left a message which was never returned. All I am trying to do is catch up on everything know that I have the money to. The balance due is like $2200.

CHASE IS GOVERNMENT OWNED! A Department Of Commerce employee told me this when I was looking for someone to help me from Chase's cunningness. Is this true? Well, he said so and plus look who told me this info. The DOC. Chase is a business and their business is LENDING and nothing else. I suffered at the hands of this business for 12 weeks trying to pay them in order to save my house from foreclosure. Thanks to the Attorney General and the OCC, I had victory over them trying to GET my house. Yes, GET! I know how they work now to better avoid this form of terrorism against weak-willed people. The true problem is NEW CENTURY MORTGAGE! They manipulate people into thinking that they are going to be your trustworthy lender until they sell off your loan to Chase. I see a pattern with this from people who go through New Century. What ends up happening is once your loan is sold to a corrupt business such as Chase, you're at the mercy of the new lender whom you never came into contract with. How is this? Gets me. I thought only slaves get sold. The lender only sees you as a number/profit/statistic. They don't have to care nor educate you when you don't produce money for them anymore. Remember you being late or behind means they are not profiting from your promise to pay them back money$$$ you never borrowed. The house is NOT in their best interest...YOU are. They are quick to get you out because you are no longer working for them to build profit. You are their profit. You are their investment. So don't think they have to care about you and educate you on what to do. They want you out of there because you are no longer producing PROFIT!!!! Do they really care about how you take care of the house? Do they check to see if the house has the latest updates? Do they call you to ask if you need anything that will contribute to their investment? NO! They only care about you being able to pay them back 3 times the amount that you borrowed. Why do we do that for sticks, stones, glass, dirt, grass and trees? You see, the mortgage broker is gone out of the picture along with the realtor and all there is left to help you is the lender who is not in any way interested in counseling people, like your mortgage broker or realtor were. Remember, they were trying to persuade you to buy, so they could be a little more nice. All there is left to stand in your defense is the policy of the contract. They have to take our money if we are trying to pay and if they don't, just file a complaint with the OCC and Attorney General. Chase will have to show why they are doing what they are doing to get you out and if it is because of corruptive practices then they will have to give an account. Keep them busy answering questions. HOUSING...ONE OF OUR NATIONS BIGGEST SCAMS. All you need to do is just question the whole process of buying a house. God speed my friends...

When my ex and I divorced I moved out of the house and let him have it. Our divorce decree stated that he was to make the payments on time and get my name off the mortgage. Of course he has failed to do that but up until recently it was no big deal. It became a big deal when he missed a couple payments and Chase started calling me at work. Now I DO realize that my name is still on the loan and that makes me responsible for it, but the people who have contacted me are SO RUDE!! Each time they called (different person each time), I calmly explained the situation... "I no longer live in the house; I have my own rent payments I have to make; even if I had the money I wouldn't pay for my ex and his GF to live there; go ahead and foreclose because it won't hurt me" (credit is already trashed due to ex), etc. I got NO sympathy. Not that I expected it, but I was yelled at and ridiculed over the phone. They harassed me at work every day for a week. I spoke with one woman who told me I shouldn't use my money to sue my ex because I should pay the mortgage instead! "Does THAT make sense?!?" she sneered. Well, uh, NO it doesn't make sense. At least an ATTORNEY can get my name off the mortgage. I really do understand that Chase is trying to collect a debt, but their customer service is pretty much non-existent! At the advice of my attorney, I called them today to request a payment history be sent to me. They told me that in order to send it to my address rather than the property address they would have to change the address of record meaning that the bills would start coming to ME. Yeah, right!! I asked if it would be the same answer if my attorney called to request it. They faxed it to me within the hour...

Chase Home Finance is a rip-off especially with those individuals that have credit problems. With an ARM, you are always in a loose/loose situation.

I feel when I tried to work with them, they were insensitive and unwilling to work with me at all. They threatened foreclosure to me. I tried to make a payment one month to them and they would not take it until I could give them and exact date of when I could make the next month's payment. Refused my payment and treated me like I was worst person they have ever spoke to. Really made me feel like they didn't even care.

I don't feel that they treated me good, because they never offered me any kind of options on to repayments on to the house until I called and then they said, that i was to late or I did not qualify because of my income. But they never tried to work anything out wit me I even offered to pay them all the months that I was late and do repayments all over again but they still refused. I wish that they would have worked something out with me instead of them taking my home cause i live in Michigan and have my sister and mother and we don't have no family here what so ever to help us out so if u can figure out a way on how we can save our home I would be more than happy to hear your options. Again thank you so much for your time. Roberto Alonzo:)

Ditto to all the bad and then some. I was sent to foreclosure prematurely and they couldn't explain why? When asked for information about their policies I was told "We are not allowed to send that information." And so I ask WHY NOT? As I read what others have said I"m beginning to wonder if this is more than just a scam! This is definitely a company that sets people up to FAIL!

At the company some of the people are great and do all they can for you. They even give you little hints on how to pay and who to talk to. I am just frustrated with this part of the company. I can't down the because of my situation they have been patient with me but now i am capable of paying and it is now a problem.

I left numerous phone messages begging my senior mortgage contact at Chase to help me wi

were not willing to help us in time of dire emergency. Applied for loan modification and was denied based on unemployment being considered only a temporary situation. Also did not take medical hardship into account.
