I have been in forclosure since June 2008. I have sent three requests via fax to various (Jason Campbell, Jennifer Hood etc...) agents that call saying they want to help me and my family of five remain in our house. My realtor has been helping talk with them and a new person came back today and told her that we still had not sent in a complete request? I have fax confirmations for everything. I am going to send a letter to every damn Senator alive, HUD, the Attorney General etc. This is ridiculous. I am about to give up an short sale and pray that I do not have to go through bankrupcy to clear everything. I am furious and frustrated. I have had some nice people on the phone but I have also had many many many *#@##@holes. I am to the point that I will not answer the phone anymore because I get false promises of hope and requests for more requests for data just to push me closer to the Trustee Sale date. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK AGAIN...EVER! Anyone know of a good Class Action against them yet.

I am in a chapter 13. I recently fell behind on one months payment due to some unforeseen money problems. I am aware there is a ten day (from the date of their bankruptcy attornys letter)right to cure the default and knew i would have no problem taking care of it in time. Chase has a DeptG7-PP that handles all payments from their customers in bankruptcy. Problem is they have two different addresses for this same DeptG7-PP. I mistakenly sent the payment to the PO box not the street address. The payment arrived three days before the cutoff time according to the Post Office but apparently the two sections of the same DeptG7-PP do not work together because they did not send it to the other section until three days later, which made My payment one day late! I received a letter for a stay of relief motion from Chase,s attorneys to start foreclosure proceedings. They are holding on to the two payments I sent after that and instead of being 1 month late, I will now be three months late. I cannot get angry at the customer reps as they are only doing their jobs. Just at Chase's Policies for the way they treat their customers. No slack whatsoever!

Well, I feel as though I was mislead or not made aware that my escrow was not included in the mortgage. I had no idea that this was not the case. I have been trying to work something out with them and nothing has been confirmed. To my understanding I thought this was included and this is where my problem starts.

We are with Chase Home Finance. They set up a repayment plan for us to be able to catch up the first two months payments we were unable to pay. However, I didn't trust them to talk to them first about this mortgage modification. I did just get a letter from them saying that if I didn't have July's payment in there by Aug.5th they were going to immediately refer this account to the Foreclosure Department. "This is the FINAL extension.

AT FIRST THE PEOPLE AT CHASE WERE VERY MEAN THEY DIDN'T RETURN PHONE CALLS AND TOLD ME I DIDN'T RETURN THERE AND PUT ME INTO FORECLOSURE BEFORE I NEW IT. MY PAYMENTS WENT FROM $1800 TO $2600 FOR SIX MONTHS. THE LADY THAT I'M WORKING WITH NW IS VERY NICE AND HELPS ME OUT A GREAT DEAL. THE ONE THING I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT IF I HAVE TWO LOANS WITH CHASE AVERAGING AROUND $25OO AND NOW IN FORECLOSURE ITS $3100 IF IT WAS HARD FOR ME BEFORE HOW DO THEY THINK IT IS FOR ME NOW. IT HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY EVERYTHING IS GOING UP BUT MY PAYCHECK REMAINS THE SAME. HARDTIMES ARE HARDTIMES BUT CHASE HAS MADE IT RIDICULOUS I AM GRATEFUL TO NOW HAVE AN CHASE AGENT WHO GIVES A DAMN. BECAUSE THE OTHER ONES THAT DESIGNED MY FORECLOSURE AGREEMENT DIDN'T GIVE A SHIT. I HOPE ONE DAY THEY FIND OUT HOW IT FEELS TO WORK SO HARD THAT YOU AND CAN'T EVEN BREATHE BECAUSE YOU SCARED THAT SOMEONE WILL STEAL YOUR AIR FROM YOU.

Chase could care less about you going in foreclosure. The lender did not provide enough information on taxes in escrow and the amount they would increase after the first year. In my case, P.M.I. with current taxes created a $650.00 monthly increase. My initial morgage was $1240.00 making my payments $1890.00 which I could no longer afford.

Unwilling to work with us on our mortgage. Was almost forced into a refinance. We had originally contacted Chase to pull out a home equity line of credit for about 5,000. After starting the paperwork for this it had been about 2 weeks since I had heard anything so I called. When I called to check on our loan's progress I was told the person that was handling that was fired and my only option was to refinance. I was behind on my mortgage from having to use money for that payment on a vehicle emargency (which is why we needed the line of credit). So I refinanced.... I ended up with an adjustable rate mortgage, my due date shrank from the 16th of every month to the 11th, my late payment went from 56$ to 90$, and the kicker is that they didn't pay my insurance or my property taxes as promised so I had that unexpected bill also. Now that I am behind 2 months on mortgage they have made no contact to assist in anything and when I have called to make payment arrangements I have been told I can only make arrangements when I am 3 months behind and if I allow them to direct debit the amount from my bank account.

What we sow into we will also reap. We have trusted this business for too many years but now their dark deeds done in obscurity have now come into the light of day. I don't blame the people on the other end of the phone. I blame the ideas this business is manifesting. They are stealing homes from families around the world. Many where sold off like slaves to this company. Chase uses other lender companies as worms on a hook to later purchase us on wall street. Woe to them. May its wealth begin to rot. May its gold be turned into gravel. I am confident that we will see the day that this business will be served what it has dished out. Keep fighting my fellow Americans. We have engaged one of the most dangerous terrorist in the world...Chase! It's not the obvious things that worry me, it's when something appears helpful , gentle, friendly, while at the same time has an agenda to do harm. This worries me.

Chase has proven to me to be the WORST company when it comes to returning phone calls. I am not sure if they have caller ID or not, but I do know they have voicemail. Even with leaving a voicemail you will NOT get a call back. This was from the Homeowners Assistant Department. This was not my first time dealing with that department and each time EACH REPRESENTAIVE lack the consideration of returning a call. I am overjoyed to see that most of you are fighting this machine. If you win your case come back into the battle and hit them again by filing a complaint with the OCC and your Attorney Generals office. The forms are on the Internet and take no time to fill out. These departments of Government are free and will be a strong voice when you have none. I decided to go that route before hiring an Attorney.I've been through litigation twice and got to stay in my home because of the diligence in fighting them. God bless all of you.

They will not negotiate with me regarding a repayment plan for my delinquent taxes. If I pay my current mortgage payment and my escrow, I can't pay my utilities and feed my family. I think that CHASE wants my property because it's now worth TWICE what I owe. IF I HAVE TO GET ANOTHER FULL-TIME JOB ... THEY ARE "NOT" GETTING MY HOUSE. I'VE WORKED TOO HARD AND IT'S ALL I HAVE.

by Anonymous From Woodstock, GA on June 13, 2008
Our interest rate went up to 12%. We payed it for a few months but couldn't keep up with it anymore. We sent in the hardship letter for modification with everything thry asked for. They said it would take 45-60 days, that was in sept. A month later they asked for another payment for good faith and we had to take a loan out to do it. We got letters from real estate investors and attorneys stating our house was up for auction on Feb 4th.We packed up our three children and found an apartment and moved out. As we were moving out and looking around our house for a final time, I got so upset that I called Chase for the Ceos' name and phone #. No one wanted to give it to me. Finally someone gave me the name and address and phone # in N.Y. I spoke to someone on his team and cried and complained about the way we were dismissed. Someone called me a week later and said they were willing to drop the payment $100.00. I told them they could have the house for $100,that would only help us out for one week of gas for our 2 cars, not our mortgage payment. A week later he called back with an offer to cut the interest rate in half for the life of the loan. We took the offer and are back in our home. However, because we were moving from our house to an apartment, we threw out alot of things for nothing because we had no room in an apt. (a riding mower, push mower, lawn tools, computer desk etc) paid for moving expenses, signed a contract to move in an apt. which we had to pay 2 months rent + one month rent cancellation fee just to get out of the lease totaling $2700.00. I asked Chase to compensate me in some way because they are the reason we were in that predicament and of course they said no. you see, we got out of our house before the auction date. After we moved into the apartment and I was speaking with Chase in N.Y., that was when we were told that the foreclosure sale was extended until June.We were never told that or else we would have never left our home and rented an apartment and had to pay them all these fees now. But of course Chase wants THEIR money so they added a total of $11,000.00 or so in fees and payments tacked on to our loan. I am happy to be back in our home, but really didn't need all of this added stress being that my father had passed away while all of this was going on.i feel that the only way you may get through to these people is to threaten them with complaining to the CEO. That is when they finally get up off their butts to do something, otherwise you are just a dollar sign and a #. Light a fire under these peoples butts because you know they don't want this to get to him!!!

By mistake I made a double payment this month electronically from my checking account. I faxed the "research dept." my account info and asked them to contact me regarding receipt of the fax and for a prompt return of the overpayment to my checking account. After 3 days with no reply I called Chase to get a phone number for the "reserach dept." and was told that they do not have a number for that department. Thats's a crock! In the meantime I have to wait a week (or more) for the resolution and who knows how long before I actually get my money returned. Customer service just doesn't exist anymore ---anywhere!

I am amazed at what this business does to it's own clients. Pass the word people. Tell others of your experience. I have already influenced many because of my story and now Chase is Banished from receiving these peoples business. What a VICTORY...I won the battle and saved my house. Chase practises the arts of misrepresentation and effortlessly design ways to mislead. This is so they can weary their victims. It's time to sound the trumpets and prepare for battle with this home grown terrorist, Chase. This machine needs to be cut at the roots of what feeds it...Money! The more the people learn about the history of Chase, the less they will be willing to feed this monster what it needs to survive. They love to feed off of the lust of people so don't blame Chase fully. We just need to have a change of mind and really check into people before we decide to do business with them. If they have no money, they will have no empire. Some are in the habit of coming on hear to express their opinion that people should read there contract before signing it or that you shouldn't have gotten a loan beyond what you could have afforded. We are trained not to read the terms and definitely not understand them while at the same time enticed into thinking that we can trust the people who are setting up our loan. By the way, Gross income is not an accurate analysis for determining what a person can afford. So These people speak foolishly and have no clue about being IN the fight. They give their opinion only to insult people who are being victimized by this Lender. If you haven't been through it then you can't say a thing about it. In other words, you can't just see it from one side and think that your opinion is going to go beyond your perspective. Good luck men and women who are on the front lines of this war on corporate terror. Get the word out about this business and its DARK history.

I hope that all of you who are dealing with the evil business practises of Chase are also reporting it to the OCC, Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, Dateline, night line, Local news and radio and any other person who can assist you in raising hell fire. You need to make these reports so that your state will maybe consider doing something about it because of the high volume of complaints. Don't fight this alone. The OCC and your Attorney General is your best bet in acking fast to investigate the situation. DO NOT DEAL WITH LIDIGATION. All they do is wast your time and push you to make verbal deals they wont hold to. Trust me, I been through this and regained possession of my house. To really pack a punch, send your complaints to the CEO and CFO of Chase. Flood them with letters and watch them act much faster. I have family and friends that work for banks who have instructed me in what to do to deal with them. I have also spoken with a attorney friend and was strongly advised to flood them with letters for the reason of, businesses despise paper trails. Do not waste your time contending with the bean counters who work in the litigation department. The politics that are involved in this process will only waste more time which is not on your side. Do not believe a word they say. They are trying to get there write off. Remember to file a complaint with the OCC by downloading a complaint form from their website. Don't fight it alone. If your going to fight fight with the Calvary. God speed!

After 3 weeks of asking for a reinstatement figure Chase is in no hurry to get back to me with this. This is what they said...."we can't give you the cost over the phone because of the new policy, so we will send it out in the mail and it should arrive in 5 to 7 business days". I asked her what is this new policy and she said she couldn't tell me. This is how this works....The reinstatement figure is only good through to the 2nd of June. The reinstatement that got sent out today will arrive on the 2nd of June or beyond. So there is no way to know the cost until the letter arrives but then it's payoff figures are no good anymore. I can have it faxed to me but on their time schedule. How many people have fax machines in their house unless they are running a business. Wouldn't you think they would want to send the payoff figures out in a overnight express. "Heck"! make me pay for it! I'm just trying to get a simple question answered...WHAT DO I OWE. They do this deliberately. I hope this business is Judged in the measure it has dished and is dishing out. I'm sure the world would be a better place without the evil idea of Chase. Remember the people who work there are not our problem. The evil ideas and practises of Chase are what is defined as evil. This entity has history of doing evil and has not turned from doing so. Chase, May the Lord himself condemn your deeds and may your business and all of your unjust gain begin to rot from this day forward for your past and present abominations.

Be careful who you do business with. You might be funding home grown corporate terrorist. Think about it very carefully before you use this bank for loans, credit cards or lending. Why build them stronger by using them. If they where supporting aborting 1 year olds would you still use them even though you pay off the credit card balance at the end of the month? They are doing bad business and have been since they have been in business. I almost lost my house to them last year due to their misleading and abusive lending practices. It took me 12 weeks, the Attorney General, The OCC and about 20 people inside the company of JP Morgan Chase along with my own family members and friends listening in on the phone conversations, to finally stop the sale and contact someone with the authority to get this corrected. I sent a certified letter to the CEO and CFO of Chase before A call came to me the next day from the Office of the CEO claiming that they are ready to get this confusion resolved. We Sent a certified check in the amount of almost $9,000.00 to the place they instructed and Guess what????Yes, they lost it for about a week and a half even Though somebody from their office by the name of John signed it. I am still stuck with this lender and it's devastating that I have no choice but to keep them as my lender at this point in life. Below are some forums and past and present history of the JP Morgan empire. CHASE: to run after (usually with hostile intent; chase, put to flight, follow (after, on), hunt. To persecute, harass, be chased away as game flying enemy, in war; desire to obtain, as pleasure, profit, fame, &c. earnest seeking. A Little History: Chase Bank in Nazi-occupied Paris after Pearl Harbor was doing millions of dollars' worth of business with the enemy with the full knowledge of the head office in Manhattan? Gold that had been looted from the national banks of Austria, Holland, Belgium, and Czechoslovakia, or melted down from the Reichsbank holdings of the teeth fillings, spectacle frames, cigarette? cases and lighters, and wedding rings of the murdered Jews. http://coat.ncf.ca/our_magazine/links/53/morgan.html More History: They supported the Nazis in a HUGE way. In fact they channeled more money from US-based corporations to Nazi funding than anyone else. ENRON SCANDAL: SEC Charges J.P. Morgan Chase In Connection With Enron's Accounting Fraud J.P. Morgan Chase Simultaneously Settles Charges for $135 Million The Securities and Exchange Commission ('Commission') today charged J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. with aiding and abetting Enron Corp.'s securities fraud. The Commission's complaint, filed in U.S. District Court in Houston, alleges that J.P. Morgan Chase aided and abetted Enron's manipulation of its reported financial results through a series of complex structured finance transactions, called 'prepays,' over a period of several years preceding Enron's bankruptcy. These transactions were used by Enron to report loans from J.P. Morgan Chase as cash from operating activities. The structural complexity of these transactions had no business purpose aside from masking the fact that, in substance, they were loans from J.P. Morgan Chase to Enron. Between December 1997 and September 2001, J.P. Morgan Chase effectively loaned Enron a total of approximately $2.6 billion in the form of seven such transactions. http://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/lr18252.htm J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. yesterday agreed to pay $2.2 billion to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging the bank helped Enron Corp. report misleading financial results, the latest fallout from the accounting scandals of the late 1990s. Chase became the second major investment bank in less than a week to resolve claims over the demise of the Houston energy firm. Regulators and plaintiff lawyers accused Chase of funneling $2.6 billion to Enron in the form of disguised loans between 1997 and 2001. By not acknowledging the payments as debt, Enron made its books look better. BUT TO THIS DAY THEY CONTINUE TO DO BUSINESS AS USUAL? I made a payment to Chase through their online website. 3 weeks later they reversed the payment and "sent it back to my bank" However, it never reached my bank. I have spent the past 4 months trying to get my money back. It's insane! I feel like I'm living in the twilight zone. Note:NEVER make a payment through their website. If I made it through my bank they could've helped me.

Unresponsive, unreasonable, deceptive, terrible customer service, no help from loss-mitigation, lost payments, failure to properly credit account (had to send copies of canceled check 5 different times), illegal forced escrow, can never speak with anyone in authority, have literally been yelled at and called a liar by customer service rep when I informed him that the automated payment system had failed to work the evening before, illegal foreclosure

I had my mortgage sold from New Century to Chase. It seems that New Century is well known for doing this. It's funny that they can just sell your contract to other lenders like we are some slaves or something. I run a business and boy wouldn't is cool to sell my clients contracts to the highest bidder. Everybody wants to blame the buyer for getting loans that are beyond what buyers can afford, NOT TRUE. If this were the case, your faithful broker would have told you that the loan you need will have to fit your income and then pass that on to be under written to decide if you qualified. So if you qualified, then you must have been approved base on the info they needed to qualify you and this being your income mainly. So when people say," well you shouldn't have gotten a loan you couldn't afford", they themselves need to be asked the question, Who determined this approval and why? Are not the lenders smart enough to lend homes to people who have the right income. Did we not have to show this information to the lender in order to be approved. Say you have $200,000.00 to lend some body. Are you going to just lend the money to anyone? Try this one on for size...Are you going to base there income status on their NET WORTH OR GROSS INCOME??? Why do the lenders accept gross. Is it to qualify you for more? All lending is a risk. It could be six figure income today and cancer treatment bills tomorrow. Where is the mercy. Why can't they just role the late payment into the note you promised to back in three fold. People keep this subject fresh in the ears of your legislative and state Representatives. The more the racket, the more they come out of the closet. We need a full scale investigating into lender abuse. In the process of losing a home there is MUCH confusion that seems deliberate. Foreclosure is instant cash so don't think they are losing money because the down payment for a foreclosed home is pretty large. GREED! JP Morgan Chase has history of skeletons in the closet. Maybe do some research into the history of the Morgans and Hitler, the Morgans and Enron. Maybe it's best to let them take our houses. I don't want to fund their empire anymore now that I Know their history. What we sow into we will also reap. If they loose money their empire will weaken. Unless this company turns from its wicket business practises, I will continue expose their deeds to this generation who will not tolerate such immoral practises.

Chase is a company i agree with the policies. If these borrowers wouldnt pull out loans that they failed to read the contract on maybe they would see the fine print and realize the due date is the first. and notice that their grace period only pertains to there late charges they shouldnt pull out loans that they were unable to afford. And dont complain if your mistake to sign contracts without reading them results in your own loss!!! UNDERSTAND

When asked to rework our mortgage into a longer term with a higher rate to lower the payment to a more affordable one, their response was "Due to your payment history with us, we can't help you". We were 30 days late once or twice in 4 years, but frequently 15-29 days late and paid ALL of the late fees they charge with each payment. In other words they have told us - "we like the extra $$$ we get from you being late a lot and it looks like we might be taking your home from you soon anyway so either way is a win win for Chase - sorry". Also, as others have said their customer service is terrible and that's an understatement! By the way, Chase bought the note from my original mortgage lender. If Chase buys your note, refinance it through someone else as soon as you can!
