I am writing concerning Carrington Mortgage Insurance Claims Department. In March of 2009, i called and reported that i had leaks in my home, and a representative stated that she would send an adjuster out to my home, and she did. The adjuster came and took pictures of my home inside and out. Later i was informed by insurance claim department, Sylvia Suerezz to send in estimate, which i did. Then it took so long on the process, i called to report to them more damage had been done, due to it raining in this area, every other day, and they needed to speed the process up, so i could get the contractor started on fixing my home. During this process, more damage was being done to my home, which mold started to occur in my bathroom, living room and den. Then i called and talked with a Sylvia Suerezz and told her what had occurred and she needed to send someone back out to do a 2nd claim, which she did. Once all of this was done, Ms. Suerezz told me that contractor needed to be licensed, and they needed a copy of contractors license. All information needed was sent in, and the lowest estimate was 4900.00, they told me that my deductible was 2000.00,and they could only pay 2900.00, the balance would have to be paid by me, and i needed to send in a contract between me and the contractor stating how this would be paid. Also, the contractor would not get all of his money at one time, they would send it out in partial payments. My contractor told me that this company is nothing but a headache, and he could no longer continue to keep going through this with the company, once you get one thing settled, they then need something else. I went to every contractor, i could think of to try to get the cost down as low as possible, but no one that was licensed would go below 4900.00. I went from March through August, with my home not being repaired. In the month of september the supervisor of the claims department called me and stated that if i could find someone not licensed to do the work, they would pay them. MY GOD, i went through the entire summer trying to find someone licensed to do the work below 4900.00,and now you tell me in september, i could get someone not licensed to do the work, which i had two people in my area, that i had been knowing for 40years, who could have done the work, they just were not licensed, but i knew the type of work they could do. Now i am so upset, because i went through the entire summer, with all of this damage, which now is worse, and now they tell me i do not need a licensed contractor. My home is now covered with mold and mildew, and when it rains, i have to put buckets under the leaks. I am needing an attorney, now because contractors are telling me that this house needs to be torn down, because it is unfit to live in, and i will not find anyone licensed or unlicensed to fix this home for 4900.00, due to all the damage that has been done. Also, my daughter had to go to the emergency room about two months ago, and she was having real bad headaches, and she was diagnosed with sinusitus. If you could just see the home inside and out, you would say the home is not fit to live in, due to all of the damage that has been done.

They did help me with my monthly payments, but because I fell behind on my taxes they added the taxes to my payment and that left me with an even bigger payment.

They helped us so much when they bought out our loan they helped us with the payments because we were behind then also they set us a payment below what the other company wanted and they modified our loan its just that our work has slowed and now were are behind. If we could ever get caught up we would not fall behind again things have picked up but with us being behind we struggle to get back on track oweing that much at one time

Marig Gomez the loan officer assured me she would not run it then did possibly 2 times. Today 7 16 09 i received an email with another person that applied for a loan's social security number and date of birth on it. This is unbelievable. Incompetent-Deceptive-Liars. Dont give them any information.

I had my house up for sale due to a divorce when CMS took over my loan and raised my interest payments twice. After 9 months I wiped out my savings trying to pay the increased rate and finally gave up and told them to go ahead and forclose. They offered me the short sale option which was a win win for both of us, or so i thought. BEWARE of the SHORT SALE. 14 months later out of the blue they are now calling wanting me to pay the difference of what I owed and what the house sold for and interest has been accumulating all this time. I am still trying to figure out if they can do this. The scary thing is they are so nice to me now.

CMS bought my mortgage from Coldwell Banker in Nov 08. Since then, they have claimed that I was one payment behind and required ME to submit proof that I was not. Secondly they claimed my mortgage was not protected under the SCRA (my spouse is deployed with the US Army) and have refused to accept payment on the mortgage. They have made threats including they will block any attempts to refinance and want next month's payment 2 weeks before it is due. They are also witholding the surplus escrow balance which they sent a letter indicating I have. They want me to refinance with them at a higher interest rate and a conventional mortgage---eliminating the protections associated with a VA mortgage. BEWARE they think all mortgagees are idiots!!!!!!

They are really trying to take advantage of people that are struggling and trying to make it work. They promised a fix of 2900. on 02/13/2009. Then later changed it to 3800.00 I don't undrerstand why when they are making so much money from the intrest from the 3200.00 that we paid monthly until we fell into some hardships.

Here is a new twist, They hold title to a foreclosed home that is on the market. They list a low price, I take it, they say there are 4 offers on the home, give your higest offer and fax a photocopy of the earnest money, THEN they say, we can't act on any offer until you fill out a loan application from us even if you want to use another bank for your loan. They'll do anything to try and get another loan. Don't deal with them if you can deal locally. No direct deposit, (better chance to get late fees that way) no bi-weekly payments, more chance to rack up interest profits.

I sympathize with all of the foreclosure comments, I was lucky enough not to buy during the peak of the market. But now I am able to afford a home. I am trying to purchase a home from said mortgage company, I submitted a bit the first time for the property which was well over market value at the time, but was affordable for me. There were some rumblings thru my company of some layoffs. I was able to back out of the deal due to their procrastination. One week later I found my job was secure, and the the property had dropped 35k from the original list price! So i submitted another bid. After 3 counter offers they finally agreed to pay for closing costs. I accepted, then they have to balls to come back and ask if i could pay for closing costs, AFTER I had already accepted their final addendum! I declined of course! It has now been three weeks since our last contact with the listing agent for this company, they have stopped answering my agents calls. This house has been on the market for almost 7 months. Now i know what your saying "why should I care if your trying to buy a house from these people". More than anything I want new customers to see that these people do not know how to conduct business, and when you are trying to purchase one of their properties, be prepared to pay closing costs, because they do not want to! Again I truly am sorry to those of you who have been affected by vultures like these people!

I agree w/the majority of these customer's comments. and for those of you, who say pay your mortgages and you won't have such problems as forclosures, adjustable mortgages and what have you. be real, we are in some trying times and we americans deserves a hand, given that our tax dollars are bailing everyone out! I too am a hand me down of new century to cms. I attempted to be proactive by contacting cms and explaining to them that i foresaw myself falling behind on my pymnts due to emergency surgery. their answer was your have to be 2 months behind in pymnts for us to help you. Eventually it happened, they called and harrassed me making my cry telling me that my mtg came before family and bills, I stopped calling and answering their cruelcalls @ my job. I am now in foreclosure. they sent me a Foreberance agreement, lowering my pymnt and a balloon of 17K on the 6th month!!! they've refused short sale offers and made me aware that my house will be foreclosed. I have since then suffered a stroke and am on temp. disability. But here are my thoughts: I will loose my home, but I will make a home anywhere, what i can not loose is my family and my health. I am a responsible person and my consciounce is clear, I've worked all my life and have worked very hard to maintain my home and family. I believe in God and he is my wittness. God Bless you all at cms,may he enlighten you and make you realize that what goes around will someday come around....I would hate to be in your shoes with the all the wrong doing you have done to so many people.

I have had a work out done with CMS it raised my payment. My house payment record has been perfect until I became 100% diabled and my income went to half of what I was able to earn when in good health. I am 15 days late right now and the relentless calls started on the 2nd day of being late. I have had excellent credit until I lost my ability to work and it took time to get my SSI and other retiremnt funds started. Anyway, I sure could use some advice or help with this mortgage, I have been in this home for 17 years and have 4 kids and a wife depending on me. I am not blaming anyone, I got caught up in the equity ATM like many others and it is now time to pay the piper. My workout left me with a 7.25% intrest rate and a forty year amoitazation with a 30 year balloon. If I could just get a 4.875 rate that would help considerably, but they wont do it somthing about investors wont do anything to lower there return. I think the government has really screwed up the whole financial system and we all pay for it, some more than others and some who are young and inoccent as they are our children. Anyway, if you can advise me that would be great. hank@cbburnet.com

I was a New Century loan holder until Carrington Mortgage took over my loan. I need to have my loan refinance by Carrington Mortgage. Thaey have mod several times in the last two years each time my payment goes up more than I can afford. I have a 12 year old son that i would like to keep in his school dist until he grads in five years but its getting harder and harder to make the increase payments. I own three months in back payments and fees again. I will receive my act 91 forms again in the mail in a few days. Why can't Carrington just refinance my loan to reduce my mortgage payments if they care about my family standing the house. New Century did my family very wrong three years ago when I refinance to reduce my Mortgage monthly payments. My Real Estates taxes and home owners where not included the new monthly payments. They left me out to dry Carrington did save me days before foreclosure two years ago. Another modification recently helped for a few months than the gas heater costed over 1,000 to repair my heating and electric bills came in. I have been employed by same the company for over thirty five years. I need a refinance now. Please help me.

For anyone who has been foreclosed on and is facing a deficiency judgment, I would get an attorney quick. I personally know that viable offers have been rejected on properties for over list price and that this company was requiring a potential buyers to apply with them for financing then wanted them to sign a waiver that they encourage them to shop with other lenders when the offers came through with loan approvals already. Even worse, they are rejecting cash offers if a long addendum isn’t signed. The addendum changes terms in the contract and takes away a buyers right for any remedy under law while putting in false acknowledgments and then in section 22 having the same buyer agree to a 5,000 penalty if they disavow the statement the seller knew was not true when they tried to make them sign it. Anyone that needs a total release of liability and presents unilateral contracts should bring concern. The latest buyer has recorded the document in the public records for Jefferson County Kansas. The property address is 411 Frontier Court. This property should have sold for much more and I fear that this could be common since the seller seems not to accept reasonable offers. I would warn anyone to check these people out! Again if your home was foreclosed, you want to have an attorney look at this document and check out this transaction then find out how many offers were rejected because after all if you are being charged a deficiency judgment (where they say you owe money after the sale of the property) you need to know what they could have sold it for and why they didn’t. This would reduce what you owe by both more funds from the sale and a faster sale which stops other fees like property insurance, taxes, interest etc. I would also look at the relationship between the parties. My other fear is that if they artificially reduce the price by limiting buyers then they can make loans making more money on the new origination and have no risk because they know the home is worth more (after all they refused to sell to willing buyers at a higher price). This makes foreclosure VERY profitable for such a company that engages in those practices. I hope this helps someone, please pass this info on!

I been trying to do loan modification since june2008

starno starno starno starno star by Anonymous From Norwalk, CT on November 22, 2008

These people are crooks. They have raised my mortgage $1200/month in a year. The first time I went for modification, they told me my health insurance payments were a luxury and added that back into my net income, counted my annual bonus as additional income several times a year and added that to my net income, and said any transfers of money between accounts was a sign of additional income and added that back into my net income. When they redid my net income, I showed no need; no wonder! Then I called again: "Oh, if we made your mortgage what you could afford, that would be socialism!" HUD told me that all of this behavior was outside federal statutes and I should report them to my state attorney general, which I did. CMS then said that become I did that, they couldn't consider a refi. When I threatened them with legal action, then they sent the issue to their guru. The guru called me and told me that I had to think about Carrington's business interests. They said that I only deserved to have $725 a month in excess of their mortgage payment and my car payment and car insurance an if I had more, I didn't quality for a modification. Because I had more than $725 in my pocket after their mortgage and only my car payment, I didn't qualitfy for modification. I then asked them about my property taxes, my property insurance, my student loan, my credit card payments. And their guru literally said that they didn't care. That CMS' business interests dictate that they cannot be concerned with any consumer credit issues and that their mortgage payments are number 1, and that they expected me to be delinquent on all consumer credit and were gladd for it, and could see that I would be, if I focused just on their mortgage payments. If anyone wonders why we have an economic crisis in this country, look to CMS. This attitude and response tells it all. Oh, and they never cared to disclose that my mortgage was adjustable or that I had an early termination penalty before my closing. They lied intentionally. Anyone interested in a class action suit? I will find a lawyer.

What is wrong with you people? Complaining about poor service with loan modifications...? You are trying to avoid forclosure on a home you shouldn't have bought in the first place. Blabhblahblahblah - My rate is too high. My payments are too high. You can point the finger at everyone else - but YOU are the one who signed on the bottom line and accepted those risks. I was with New Century, I took the interest only because they said if I decided to keep it after 3 yrs they would refinance me, I had a 800 score, well they folded my house went from 535k to 280k. CMS said they couldnt refi, they only processed payments, my loan went variable, my payments went way up. I tried since Nov 07 to short sale, CMS has constantly lost my paperwork, I lost several buyers, I just sent all my paperwork for the 3rd time, they never call you back, you have to get in a fight everytime to talk to a supervisor. I payed 5k in taxes for 07 and kept the landscaping perfect so I could get it sold, but CMS could care less, they harass me every day, I had to call them and demand they didnt call me at 5am, they said I was lying. I have run out of money and just don't know what to do now, I am sick of them.

Pray for them, because as a company the practices that these folks engage in are unethical. I lost my home to New Century. Bought it with good credit I worked hard for with the promise that in 2 years I could refinance. In two years nobody wanted to refinance these loans and nobody really wanted to refinance them after my payments got behind. They came up with "repayment" plans that required I pay an additional $700 more than my regular payment which only puts you further behind. Desparate you try to pay it, and can't. Then you send a partial payment and they will not accept it. They send mine back because it was $200 short. Carrington is the same way. If I had to do it over I would've never got into these loans. I made a terrible mistake and I am paying for it. I just thank God that he is good, and pray that He will guide me. For the folks from Katrina, don't lose hope. God is watching.

Carrinton Mortgage is New Century, same address and everything. We filed bankruptcy while under New Century, after 2 years in bankruptcy and paying our payments to new century and now carrington, they listed on our credit report that we are behind in our payments because of the bankruptcy, that the money they are getting from the bankruptcy is not catching us up. We are trying to refinance and no one will do it because of the credit history that carrington/new century has listed on our credit report. Now we have to take them to court to prove that we are not behind in our payments. STAY AWAY FROM THE NEW NEW CENTURY MORTGAGE - CARRINGTON.

CMS is the same old New Century Mortgage, Doing the same old practices hidden by the words loan modification. Our loan with them is for less than $100,000 we told them our payments were to high at $900 a month it's an 80/20 they did the modification and told us it would be adjusted to $1020 for 27 years. That means they would take a profit of 18 years on the back end. This is a tactic a car sales lot uses. When we tell them the payment is to high they increased the payment. We will again tell them it's to high and they will move the same numbers around to lower the payments but increase the loan year. They can not be trusted even after all the loan sharking they have already done!

They harass you on the 2nd of the month, sending letter after letter threatening foreclose even if you aren't a month late, they send difference addresses to send payments, the online payment doesn't post on the date you use the online service, you are charge an addidtional fee to use online service. I just want to pay my mortgage to one bank that can service my loan and not sell me down the river to an unscruplous company as Carrington. Hey Remita, Classy attitude..., just send your keys back and buy another house 2 years later. Here is a plan, don't put any money down on that one either, don't put yourself in a position to qualify for a convential loan and you can default on that one too. The "jingle mail" you refer to lowers the value of every home around yours and affects those homeowners that honor their commitment to the lenders. You are a problem, not a solution.

We purchased our home in 2005 exactly one month before hurricane Katrina. It was left with a brick shell and had to be completely redone. Our mortgage was of course sold in 2008 to CMS. When we couldn't pay the payments because we were waiting on grants and living in a FEMA trailer we were told to sell our house if we couldnt pay the increased interest rate. They set up a payment plan for $500 more a month than our note was already. We are now behind on Jan, Feb, March. Recieved forclosure notice. They call up to 6 times a day , and put their answering service on the line. It's hard to even get through to speak with anyone. It's hard to get your head above water , if we could just catch up we could make the payments. They don't want to meet anywhere in the middle at this point. I believe in paying your debts, but it's hard when I can't come up with $5,000 at the same time. Does anyone know if they allow balloon payments? I really don't want to lose my home. We haven't been moved back in it for very long. My daughter lost everything she owned in the sstorm, I can't tell her that she's going to lose her home again.

My wife and I had had our first dealings with CMS on 2-25-2008. We to had our mortgage with another company(Homecomings Financial). WE have never had a company, even a credit card company, be as rude and arrogant as the two people we had to deal with. I can say they really do not care at all. We to had an ARM rate. Ours will only increase $100 a month. But as we all know in todays time that can be a lot. One of the guys had the nerve to say whats the big deal, it is just $100 and if we can't afford that, then we don't need to be in the house. All we wanted was to keep our mortgage where it was and we even sent in the paperwork they had requested and then were told they needed different documentation. House was damaged in Katrina and insurance was held in CMS' loss draft department. (try to get them on the phone - they are truly lost) After several attempts to get the last of the money -$12,000 sent to us to pay laborers - they balked at paying because we are not "finished" with the house. We have a 1850 Greek Revival, two story historic property that has been under renovation for years and Katrina did specific damage to it and we were in the midst of restoration when the storm hit. We have to have CMC inspections to show the work accomplished before we can get a payment and our inspector has related the above information to CMS - I called them three times about getting the final payment and now they refuse to pay it because the entire house is not completed ( they do not understand or even try to understand our historic district status) and now have charged us $300 for the inspections that they require. We are ready to scream with their purposefully mis understanding of our situation. they are not bad people, they are mis directed, and probably not managed correctly. We will have to hire an attorney to get this final payment and it will cost them in the long run, but I am very very disappointed in their policies of hour- long being on hold and never being able to contact a person who will call you back. The loss draft department being unavailable and in general a complete lack of respect to a customer who has paid every note on time.

Everything written here on this forum is ABSOLUTELY true with the exception of the one dude telling us that we knew that we had ARM's so we should pay up. Uhhh New Century/UNCARRINGTON put people in high rate mortgages attached to the friggin Libor rate out of England. Then payments are adjusted every 6 months and of course they NEVER adjust down. Send in your keys (jingle mail)!!! When our mortgage note was approaching 60% of our net pay it is time to bail. In 2 years, you can get another mortgage. It is better to pay your credit cards than it is to pay this scam of a corporation. Can anyone say class action lawsuit. See Ameriquest Mortgage for details on what they had to pay to the consumers after unfair lending practices were discovered.

They offer no help, but ask for post dated checks, or get the money from anyone else, etc. They call twice a day after I have agreed to call them weekly with any changes or just to check in. They advise that I won't receive these calls but weekly but this has not been the case. I requested someone to try to assist with any modification programs and they said without a job they would not even consider it. It would have helped as they know that my mother has been paying my mortgage and they would have continued to get paid. I was just requesting a lower payment during this time or something.

we had a loan with New Century. We were never behind however, I found their customer service lacking. They were horrible. Your payment is not "late" until the 16th. We get paid bi weekly and often couldn't pay it on the 1st. We always paid it by the 15th at the latest. Sure enough on the 2nd they were calling. They even called my husband at work! I explained to them every time that we had nothing to talk about until the 17th because that is when it is late. I too had a suspense balance, which they said I could apply to another payment if I got enough, but when I had enough they said it was applied to other things!????? We refied a few months ago and they are still sending letters saying they need information from us about our mortgage..stay away if you can help it.

We too were financed with New Century and the people there were no understanding at all. In fact, at times they were plan rude. We did not know at the time they would be filing bankrupt. We had a misfortune last year and was not able to get caught up. They would not take partial payments nor would they put a payment on the backside. We have learned that Carrington is the same people as New Century just under a new name and they are no more understanding now than they were before. Our interest rate has also gone up and will continue to go up possibly every six months. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I bought my first house through NEW CENTURY 2 1/2 years ago on a 2 yr ARM at 6.5%. after almost 2 yrs. I fell behind due to a short lay-off and an unexpected kidney surgery for my daughter.I called NEW CENTURY when I got back to working overtime, told them that I could make 3 payments of $1600 over the next three weeks to catch up they told me not to send the money unless I could send it all at one time. I didn't know at the time but they had already filed bk. They were going to foreclose on my house in June. I really didn't want to lose my house, but they didn't give me any other choice. I had to file chapter 13. Now my rate went from 6.5 to 9.0. I talked to Carrington about a mortgage modification because I can't afford it anymore, and they said it could take up to 30 days to process. I tried to re-fi but nobody will even talk to me.

Is there anyone else out there who has absolutely lost all of their mortgage history with the credit agencies, because NC quit listing their mortgage payments when a bk was filed? When we had to file bk on our house 3 yrs ago, NC quit posting our pmts to them. We have no history for refi companies to check, so no one will touch us to help us get away from New Century aka Carrington Mortgage. We cannot rent or buy a home with no mtge history. We continued making the pmts for months after the bk even though we received no pmt receipts from NC saying that the pmt was made, and we couldn't get them on the phone to verify that they had received our money. We eventually stopped all pmts until we knew where our pmts were disappearing to. To this day we have never received notice of any kind about non-payment. Every few months we get a threatening letter from Carrington that they are foreclosing our property on such 'n such a date, and yet there has been no further notice after each letter. We are really in a hole now as we can't refi since we have no records of our payments. We can't sell because the trustee for the bk still hasn't released the house even though we filed a ch7 and it was discharged 3 yrs ago in January. In the meantime, CMS now wants to "work" with us on a repayment plan (per another letter, of course) . During all of this mess NC filed bk themselves and we really got screwed. Now what? We are getting a real estate attorney tomorrow to deal with CMS, the Oregon trustee, and those two yahoo's from NC (who became CMS)are criminals of the worst kind. They don't want our payments as much as they want to force us out of our home. When the market picks up they will make a killing on the re-sale of all these homes.

We too have had a bad experience with Carrington Mortgage. I was recently unemployed and was not able to make the full payment. Called and spoke with several rude/nasty agents to try to make payment arrangements. They said that they do not make payment arrangements, HOWEVER I found out that technically a payment is not past due until the 1st of the next month. We did end up paying before the 1st, and do not have anything negative on our credit report. BUT all of the sudden our payments have shot up to 2500.00, according to them they did not calculate prop. tax correctly, leaving us nothing in escrow to pay the taxes!! We had to call to get the information, they did not mail out a letter of explanation! We called today because we are not able to make the 2500.00 payment and having hard time with refi. due to penalties. Again, not willing to even assist! Escalated to a supervisor who waived late fees, but also said that no payment arrangement and if we did not make payment by Nov. 1st that they would start foreclosure proceedings! In 5 years we have never been late! now we are going to try to get hud involved to see about options. This company is horrible and should be reported to all agencies!

Did not find out about the change until the 2 weeks after the payment was due (I had already paid New Century since the payment is due the first). Later, made payment by phone since website was not working. When I went to balance my checkbook (I get paid monthly, so I only do this on the first) I found that no payment had been deducted from my checking. Called Carrington- they said the check bounced (we had well above the debit at all times). Unable to answer why they had not called or sent any letter about the returned item. Called the bank since I knew the money was in there. Bank stated that the item had never been presented for payment and that funds were more than sufficient. Called Carrington back to ask what account number they had on file. They said they did not have that information. What?? Then how did they present it for payment?? They told me I would have to have the bank fax a letter stating that the funds had been there. The letter was faxed and I gave the info to Carrington again. The late payment is still on my credit report AND I had to pay for the pay by phone. All I wanted was to make an online payment like I have been for the last 3 years.

DO NOT get an A.R.M. (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) Loan with any company!!!! If you can't afford a fixed rate, then you can't afford the payment when the A.R.M. goes into affect. They tell you that the rate will go up, but that the rate can also go down. BULL!!! It will NOT go down. And when it goes up, it goes up alot. Even if you can afford the higher payment, you're paying money that you shouldn't have to. Someone is getting rich because your credit wasn't the best. In all scenarios, you would be a thousand times better off if you just rent until you can get your credit score better for a fixed loan. It is easier to clean your credit than what anyone will tell you!!!!!!!!!!! Just do not get 30 days behind on your car or current mortgage. That will bring the score down quick. The other stuff, not as bad and the creditors of the other stuff are more likely to help you.

The way he talked to us made us feel like we were being interrogated. It seems CMS doesn't care about their customers, but just getting their money. They say the site works. I log in, but can't do anything. When I go to contact us, it says my session has timed out. Can't email and say the site is not working.

I cannot make a mortgage payment online through the 1st Century web site. Carrington Mortgage says that the site works. I don't think so!!! I've tried for two months and end up calling Carrington who always wants a fee for telephone payment. I just feel Carrington should fix the web site or not charge for a telephone payment.

I want to call them, but there is negotiating with them. I know they don't like that fact we file bankruptcy on them and our other creditors. We are stuck , because we can't refine. with any one. Damn!1 CMS

New Century stopped taking my payments. I called customer service but no one answered after being on hold for 3 hours, several times. Got a Foreclosure notice soon after (end of March). Decided to sell. I found a buyer in June, Carrington and Goldbeck, McCafferty and Mc(something) have been holding up the sale, which is for what is owed. It now nearing Sept. and the Auction is in Oct. The house only has heat on one floor and a leaky roof, a home down the street is sinking into the old mine below. JUST SELL IT TO THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE A CONTRACT ON IT. No one in their right mind would pass up that opportunity. I am trying to resolve the problem But Carrington and the Collection Agency lawyers don't seem to care about fixing problems before it costs more money I don't have.

Carrington Mortgage Services are really greedy bustards,if you don't have a home owners ins they will charge $23,000 a year.Regular ins was normally 1,600 a year. That's gouging, and criminal.

terrible follow-up by Carrington Mortgage Services; essentially, Carrington was created by New Century. When New Century busted, they left the bondholders high and dry, simply selling the notes to themselves: New Century to New Century re-incarnate, Carrington Mortgage Service! Even CMS's called ID says New Century! CMS is simply a re-hashed New Century with a fancy new name.
