They treat you like a number, not human, trying to deal with keeping my home, the representatives are cold, non caring, like robots, they don't want to hear your story, just give them the damn money! call again another department, give us the money, they are killing themselves, shooting down their own customers. Really unintelligent, uncaring, not honest or adhering to the loan modifications past by President Obama. BB&T could care less about you or your family! This is contacting over the phone, the NC Wilson Branch.

We have found out the hard way that BB&T does not have representatives that are truthful. They claimed they would work with us or give us ample opportunity to seek other options but without even being 30 days behind they have published foreclosure notice in our local paper and will not communicate with us.

They said they were modifying our loan. They did not do that. Instead, they took ALL our money out of our checking account and did not apply it to the missed payments. They are forcing us into bankruptcy. The ridiculous part is, we were not behind when they said they would modify the loan. THEY told us not to pay it while they worked that out. Then they TOOK ALL OUR MONEY out of our checking account without our knowledge. LITTLE KNOWN FACT: IF YOU HAVE A MORTGAGE AND YOU HAVE YOUR CHECKING OR SAVINGS ACCOUNTS IN THE SAME BANK - THEY CAN FORCIBLY TAKE ALL OF YOUR MONEY IF YOU GET BEHIND ON YOUR MORTGAGE. Technically - just 10 days behind! It is in the small print - the kind you need a magnifying glass to read on both your mortgage and your checking account information that you sign when you open an account.

One of them just went to jail for a 30 million land fraud deal. My banker just left in the middle of the day 3 years ago. He went to lunch an never came back. I have tried to negotiate this but they wont deal or talk. I am at the end of my rope.

You can't get anyone at the local branches to help you they "don't have access to the screens they need" and when you call thier 800 numbers it takes you always get a different person or department so you spend all you time explaining and reexplaining the situation. It is very frustrating!

BB&T lies...they offered me a modification $400. over original payment, since December 2008, they have been lying about everything. Needless to say, they are not open and disclosing material facts and play cover-up. My house is in foreclosure and they have threatened to sue me for a default judgment, saying IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT THE MARKET VALUES HAVE FALLEN! Well then who's fault is it?
