Sued me - sued them back - their attorneys are so bad they haven't even been able to get it together to answer or provide discovery - it has been a year - they are a joke - if they sue you for foreclosure sue them back they are so disorganized they can't even defend their actions

I have always received inconsistent and contradictory information and offers from 4 representatives of Bayview in the past 10 months. I actually have no notice served on me that I am in foreclosure although they seem to have me thinking they are preparing to do that. I received a call for an inspection of the interior of my house now from a realtor and the investment company who really is the end mortgage holder. I believe my house is part of a REIT now.

Our loan was taken over by Bayview, and at first they seemed very helpful when we had problems paying our payments. We were going to give our house back to them , and they restructured our loan. Our payment went from almost 1100 plus taxes, and insurance, to 665 insurance, and taxes included. We went from 10.9 to 4 percent interest. Well, we were elated, and of course decided to stay in our home. Approximately 8 months later they told us the escrow account on our loan did not cover the taxes owed, and our payment would go from 665.00 to 1,350.00! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO ACT IN YOUR BEST interests. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL Back stabbers ACTING AS A PERSON. THESE ARE NOT PEOPLE, THEY ARE THE DEVIL, AND HIS DEMONS POSING AS PEOPLE,AND IF OUR GOVERNMENT ALLOWS THEM TO CONTINUE DESTROYING PEOPLES LIVES, AFTER THE NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS THAT I HAVE SEEN AGAINST THIS COMPANY. THEN THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THEM!

Bayview initially worked with us due to the economy and that leading to my husband losing hours from his job. We filled out the hardship papers to qualify for a load modification. They stated that we needed our mortgage payment needed to be 31% of our of our gross income. We fell at 30% - therefore we did not qualify. We tried to explain that our income on a regular basis was not this much as they were looking at our tax statements - this included the income from us selling our retirement stocks and receiving a 301K loan in order to make payments. We fell behind and yet we are both working full time. Thank you Bayview for not offering your help. You can now foreclose on the home and try to get back the funds.

ran through hard times, like so many other families in america,,only to be cheated out of the equity i have in my home,,Bayview disguised them it as late fees,,,add 14,000,,,the exact amount of equity that i had,,,,,fly by night company ,who has done there homework,,and no how to swindle and steal legally

Don't let them fool you! Bayview told me we approved for the HAMP modification 100%. After making our "trial period" payments for 6 months they denied us! They're reason was "Failure of Net Present Value". Basically this means we are too far upside down and it is more profitable for them to foreclose....isn't this a program designed to help people STAY in their homes?? Finally we applied for the Citi Bank modification and got approved. The final verdict....our payments went up and they added $20,000 to our principal. We signed the papers to avoid foreclosure. Thanks a lot Bayview/Citi Bank. We feel like we got tricked.

My mortgage was transferred by Citi Financial to Bayview. Citi Financial was horrible to me. They even duped me into applying for something called a "Freedom Loan", supposedly at no out-of-pocket expense to me. They made me feel that they were really doing me a BIG favor. Too late, I realized my mistake of signing the papers on a particular date (immediate deadline). My monthly payments were lowered by $100.00, but the lowered amount cost me $7000.00 which was add to my loan. I agree with the the NEGATIVE comments and ratings posted here for Citi Financial, and Bayview. Click on the About Us" tab for a BIG LAUGH. How could they even use the word CHRIST in anything that they say about their company or about their services!!!

This is the absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with. Due to a business failure (caused by the economic downturn) and a job loss, my husband and I got behind in our mortgage. In February 2010, I discussed a loan modification with Alan. He told me what documents he needed to be faxed to him to complete the application. I did and nothing happened. I then got a call from Melanie 2 weeks later. She told me that Alan left and gave me a different list of documents we needed to fax in. We did on 3/23/10. Melanie called us to request several more things which we promptly faxed in. We have heard nothing. I called the company last month (April) only to be told that there was now another person handling our loan, Ryan. Ryan has never called us and talked to us or left a message, despite the fact that he claims to have been trying to call us. I left 4 messages for him over a week's time and he never returned any of the calls. I finally reached him, not his answering machine, and he claimed to have absolutely no knowledge of the fact that we were trying to do a loan modification. When I told him we had sent in all the documents, he promised to try to find the folder and he would call me either later that day or the next day. 3 days later, I once again called him, not the other way around. He finally found the folder (with all our personal information) and now requires more information from us because the info we sent in was now outdated. Meanwhile, we've received a foreclosure notice and an extra $10,000 added on to total. When i expressed my frustration appropriately (no yelling, no swearing, no threats, etc.), Ryan hung up on me. I am totally disgusted with the complete lack of professionalism, the lies, and stupidity of the employees of this company. The way this place does business certainly epitomizes the GREED and Amorality of many American businesses and is a contributing factor in the near collapse of our economy.

Till this day, I have been going round & round with my lender: https://www.bayviewloanservicing.com/ August of 2009, I applied for Obamas "Making Home Affordable" hoax program. All bayview loan servicing does well is: Stall, Stall, Stall. I have complied with all bayviews request for financial documentation, still every couple months they have the nerve to call and ask for the last two months bank statements, it's never ending. I wanted to let you know that you were 100% correct when you said this program was "smoke & mirrors." Do you have any friendly advice? I may as well throw in the towel and ditch this infamous: "Making Home Affordable" hoax program all together, like so many other hardworking Americans. Thank-you! -Jerry Rubio Chowchilla, CA

M&T Bank was servicing the loan on our house. They refused to modify loan (we have had some extenuating circumstances). We missed a couple of payments & loan was turned over to Bayview. I contacted them & within 2 weeks had a temporary modification in place & will become permanent in 3 months. They have done an outstanding job. As a homeowner you MUST do your part so they can help you.

by mike From Schertz, TX on January 31, 2010
i ask for a loan modification and got it. my interest went from 9.2 to 2% for first 5 years. and 5% for the remainder of the loan. the payoff stayed the same. the rep. was extremely helpful and they saved my home.

So why haven't you shut them down and Citi Mortgage TOO they are in with each other!! They need to do the same damn thing with these thieves creating homelessness daily. They need a moratorium on foreclosure and need to shut down these F rated companies!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason why I say average is because some of the things I asked them about such as adding the overdue amount back into my mortgage, decreasing my interest rate or modify my loan was not addressed. She continued to say something about what the president asked for.

Bayview, modified my loan for only 6 months and now they want me to pay the original loan amount. Some modification program they have. I may just walk away from my note like many millions have already done.

Their idea of 'helping' homeowners could be likened to handing them the rope!

by Anonymous From Cedar Rapids, IA on May 05, 2009
we had our loan switched to these guys through Citi. We were told we could modify the rate was great. We asked them to send us in writing what late fees would be, what if any pre payment penalty and last we wanted our attorney to look over the paper work. Instead of us getting the information requested we got a voice mail stating they couldn't send us anything. Funny since they emailed us the paper work to start with. anyway now that we've made these request we are told we no longer can modify the loan at this time.

As a modification they generated a stipulation which required certification of the debt (they had purchased the loan). I made the stipulated payments and they did NOT modify the loan. Trouble.

NEVER NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY , THEY ARE VULTURES. THEY WILL TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY AND YOPU WILL LOSE YOUR HOME. THEY DO CHARGE HUGE LATE FEES.I WAS TRALKING TO ONE OF THE AGENT REGARDING RE-PAYMENT PLAN AND BAYVIEW DID NOT ACCEPT MY PAYMENT AND INSTEAD STATED THAT MY HOUSE WILL BE IN FORECLOSURE IF I DID NOT SEND A VERY BIG AMOUNT OF MONEY BY THE DUE DATE AND SHOULD SEND BEFORE 4 PM. OMONCE YOU HEAR BAYVIEW ,REFUSE, REFUSE REFUSE, NO MATTER WHAT OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

They approached us with a great loan modification. from an 12% to a 6% no addtional fees. They helped us when we needed the help - but like I said they called us and approached us.

I was in foreclosure, but was one of the fortunate few to have more equity than what I owed, and was able to sell my home. They charged excessive "admin fees" and refused to give a detailed itemization. I also tried to negotiate the payoff; they did not return phone calls or emails until the 11th hour, at which point I had no choice but to pay it since I had to close. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BANK!

by Anonymous From Waipahu, HI on August 20, 2008

This company is predatory. I realize now I was overextended at the time they gave me the loan. It took only a couple of negative things in my life and then I realized I was overextended.

by DAS From Columbia, MD on March 07, 2008
Be careful when doing business with this bank and any of the eight (8)businesses owned by them. I recently sustained an on the job injury, after which Bayview agressively came after their money and my house. It's currently tied up in a legal mess, even though I have attempted to repay Bayview what I owed plus interest with the sale of my own house. Bayview loan servicing has repeatedly refused the deal in which they gain $44,000.00 and I lose equity in the home I have lived in for thirteen years. Bayview Loan Servicing Has an "F" grade with the better business bureau.
