I don't fall into their guidelines for a loan modification. I have recently had a job change, reducing income. I do not fall into the correct income category. My % of grant debt sits at first- 1 year left; and the mortgage company sits on second; looking like their is a second mortgage.

They are HORRIBLE. They make mistakes and then charge you.... pass you all around to different people and promise 10 different stories but charge you for all in the end or foreclose if you don't pay. They were bailed out by the taxpayers and now treat the little guy like crap. Never get paperwork that's correct if you get it at all. Stay away from CITI

never deal with the same person - when we try to deal with the previous person - they are no longer there - each person has a different response

They really don't care about you if they can't benefit off of you aggressively.

I HAVE TRIED OVER AND OVER TO WORK WITH CIT IN GETTING A LOAN MODIFICATION 3/09. FROM THE BEGINNING IT HAS BEEN A MOUSE RACE. I HAVE SUBMITTED Documentation OVER AND OVER AGAIN WITH NOTHING BEING DONE AND EVEN THEM SAYING THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE DOCUMENTS. I TRIED TO CATCH UP ON THE PAYMENTS WHEN I WAS 3 MONTHS BEHIND. I WAS TOLD THAT CIT WOULD NOT RECEIVE MY PAYMENTS BECAUSE I WOULD BE BACK IN SAME SITUATION WITHIN MONTHS. AFTER THAT I BEGIN WORKING WITH CCCS AND NACA. THEY SAID THAT CIT WAS THE WORST LENDER THEY HAVE EVER TRIED TO WORK WITH. CIT WOULD NOT WORK WITH THESE COMPANIES. THEY WOULD WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MOMENT TO TELL ME THAT THE LOAN MODIFICATION WAS DENIED AND MY HOUSE WAS GOING UP FOR SALE!!! CIT SAID THAT THEY WOULD ACCEPT THE $30,000 PLUS THAT I WAS BEHIND. WOW!!!

I've been getting the run around since 04/01/09. I've submitted all the paperwork three or four times to Citi group and I cannot seem to get anything done personally. I need professional help. I PRAY that its not too late. I love my home!

We all need to write the president about Citi Mortgage, because I feel that the staff or Underwriter do not know anything about Loan Modification and they do not give a darn about people. The first five to 10 years, the majority of your mortgage payment goes to interest. So.. when people are in a bind with their mortgage payment. Citi should let the borrower put the arrearage of their mortgage payment in deferment. But the suck

by I HATE CITIMOTGAGE From Millington, MI on April 22, 2009
for 2 months I have been waiting on Citimortgage to either accept my application for homeowners assistance or to deny it, in the meantime my home has lost equity to the point that I cant refinance anywhere else. They are holding me hostage. Cant speak to a human, have called a dozen different numbers, and all have the same recording, been on the phone for DAYS and still cant get a simple answer. I should have refinanced somewhere else when i had the chance, only 2 months ago. I have been yelled at by rude people and hung up so many times I have lost count. My advise is to NEVER do business with this company. They took my tax dollars for tarp and they wont help a good customer in good standing.

i have tried unsucessfully to come to some type of solution with CIT, but they only want money. They have been unwilling to help or even discuss refinancing this loan. Instead I am harrassed on a daily basis with collection calls.

When I had emergency surgery and found out I was going to be out of work for almost 2 months, I called to try to work out payment arrangements and they said they were trying to help, but would not assist me unless I was past due. So, when this started to become past due, I called and they would not accept any type of payment plan unless I was paying the past due in full, and they will not accept partial payments.

They require you to be late on your payments in order to discuss your situation. I have very good credit and just hit a bad stretch of luck. I have been on time with my payments and would just like someone to discuss my situation with.
