what will happen after you receive a notice from the sherrif about a sale
I have received a notice of sheriff sale for July 11, 2008. I have tried to talk to my mortgage company but they want like 3000 up front and then so much extra a month. My husband and I had separated and then I was involved in a car accident.
My boy friend and I bought a house... that was where I went wrong
my boy friend and I bought my house from my brother in 2004. when my boy friend left in November of 2007 I had to get my own mortgage I thought I could do it on my own with the money I was making at my job but I couldn't do it and I did not know what to do.

I filed bankruptcy to get rid of the home... I still have it
I went through a Bankruptcy 1.5 Yrs ago. The home was included in it. Our Lawyer said that the home would be taken by the bank right away, and we would not have to worry about it. We are now receiving a foreclosure from the bank.

Can my second mortgage foreclose on my home
I have just received a foreclosure notice prepared by the the agents for my Second loan, in which they state that they are going to proceed with a sheriff Sale of the property if the arrears is not paid in full.

I need help working something out with WIlshire to avoid foreclosure
We have two mortgages one is current the other is 3 months late.We continue to make payments but get letters from Wilshire about foreclosure. We are first time home buyers and do not want to lose our house.

Wells Fargo told me to have my payment stopped at the bank, does that make sense?
I tried a payment plan with wells fargo. I sent in extra money, but then they told me to stop payment on that check while the payment plan was being reviewed which I did. Because that check was stopped, they then said I broke the payment plan and would not allow me to set up another.

I am running out of options... should I try a short sale with Bank of America
I am in a situation were I lost my job. I found another job, but took a pretty big pay cut and now have to drive about 140 miles each day to work.

Benificial may force me to lose my home to foreclosure
This is my situation and it needs to be read carefully to fully understand how things have reached this point.
In December of 2006, I contacted my mortgage company Beneficial to refinance my home. At this time I owed approximately $91,000.

No Drugs and Prison did cause me to get behind on my mortgage... just a job loss
I have been out of work for several months. I refinanced the house this kept me afloat until June. I was accepted for a new job in NYC beginning Jan. 4, 2008. Thereafter I am sure I can get back on my feet. I am a hardworking woman who has always paid bills on-time and maintained good credit.

We have waited and waited for them to help us with the foreclosure, now what?
We have filed for hardship with our mortgage company in hopes to get a repayment plan or loan modification. We waited over 3 months to hear anything, and today we received certified letters of their intent to foreclose. We are desperate to keep our home.
