Don't want Deficiency Judgment
My wife and I built our dream house in 2007, then my employer forced me to move in 2008. We tried renting and selling the house to no avail.

I need help completing a Short Sale
My employment was terminated on 01/27/09. I was transferred to Florida from Oklahoma in 2007. Since then, I have tried to sell my condo myself. I contacted Chase Mortgage and told them of my situation. They told me it had to be on MLS for at least 3 months. Now, it has been 6 months on MLS.

What is a Short sale or a Deed-in-lieu of foreclosure?
We bought this house in 2000. We had a job transfer to Texas in 2001. The house would not sell after 8 months on market. We had to start renting it to pay the mortgage. We have a property management company overseeing it. We just discovered that the property is in need of extreme repairs.

I had a buyer but Option One took so long the buyer walked
I listed the home for sale, had a buyer lined up and Option One filed the foreclosure...held up the process and the buyer walked. Now I have additional fees and penalties tacked on. I would have loved to stay in my home, but now just need to clean up the aftermath.

How can we avoid any judgments against us if they foreclose?
My husband bought this house in 2002. All payments were made on time during our occupation of the property. He joined the army in 2005 and left for boot camp in march of 2005. I made the mortgage payments while he was gone and put the house up for sale thruogh coldwell banker.

Received a notice from the Sheriff
Rec'd notice of Sheriff's sale yesterday, scheduled for April 15th. The appraisal on the notice was for $30,000 less than the loan.

I did what Suntrust said now they refuse to help me
My mortgage is through SunTrust. I provided a hardship letter along with doctors' letters, after my son's accident. I was off work without pay to care for him. Then my former company merged and our pay schedules were off, causing me to lose a week's worth of pay. All this was provided to SunTrust.

I got married, bought a house... now what?
I got married after I bought the house. I'm not sure, but I think I have Rural Housing loan. I'm trying to negotiate with the lender to repay it. I have $1500 dollars to start...but their repayment amount each month is too much. I don't know what to do.
My husband may serve jail time and I may lose my home to foreclosure
My husband is the mortgage holder, my sister co-signed on the loan. My husband is in jail, awaiting trial & possibly prison time. I've filed for divorce. My children & I live in the home.

I received a foreclosure judgment in the mail, what does that mean?
I was unemployed for 2 yrs due to medical I had got behind in my mortgage a couple of times during that period I always managed to obtain the money i needed to bring it current.
