My ARM will go up soon
We have been late on our mortgage many months as both of our retirement checks arrive the third Wednesday of each month. We are able to afford the payment, but the late fees are adding up and going against our credit report.

Saxon was no help!
I talked with someone a month ago about a a loan modification or some other payment plan. This person said they could help me with the first mortgage, they said something about a forbearance plan that was supposed to start next month.

Does GMAC do Short Sale?
I am trying to do a short sale and GMAC offered the option of deed in lieu of foreclosure. Are there any alternative to suffering foreclosure? I want to avoid foreclosure without doing a bankruptcy and ruining my credit. I received their court documents earlier this week and don't know what to do.

I am working now, need loan modification
I got laid off and just returned back to work. I have 3 kids and just barley making it. I really do not want to lose my home. I have applied for a loan modification with Homecomings but I have not heard from them.

I don't know where to turn for help with EMC
Back in Aug of last year is where we started having problems that was my last full payment to EMC. I called them in OCT to work with them and we set up a partial payment plan, which I have been on since. They have been automatically deducting from my account since then on the 16th of every month.

What is the foreclosure process in New York?
In January 2009 I advised my bank I was behind in payment (I missed Dec 2008) and that I am getting a hardship loan from my job which will be provided in April. But I needed a letter from them stating default in order to get the loan. In Feb.

Tenure may keep my job but not my home
I'm a tenured teacher who is going through a break up, this has left me with half the income but all of the bills. Also the second job I was at making an additional 2500 dollars a month isn't available due to the economy.

I received one Loan modification from Homecomings, does that mean I can't get another one?
Just trying to work out a deal since it was told to me originally that they only give one modification a year. I did not know when the mod.

My mother got sick and later died, that put me behind and am facing foreclosure
The main reason that caused us to be late is my mother's resent illness and death. My mother had a server stroke May 2007 and was unable to maintain herself both physically as well as financially. I refinanced with GFI to be able to assist.
