Can't afford rental home
We are at our wits end. We had a renter in the home who was going to purchase the home but has now backed out and we are stuck with the payment we can't afford to make.

Bank of America won't budge.
Our lender won't budge. We both have great jobs now and they won't do a thing. Bank of America is very difficult to deal with. We can afford our payments now, but don't know how to get back on track.

Does 19 years of homeownership mean anything to Litton?
I have owned my home for 19 years and recently been struggling financially just like everybody else. Litton Loan has served me with foreclosure papers and are it's very frustrating and stressful to try and work something out with them.

What does it mean when they say I have redemtion rights?
i went to court in november. my hubby was laid off construction. normally he is only laid off a week or two a year. last year he made $22,000. less than 2007.court papers say the day for redemption is april 4th.

How patient should I be with Washington Mutual, it has been 3 months
I have an equity home loan as well. I am on disability. and have have medical bills as well. Been paying something on all things except mortgage for the last 3 months. I have a package into the mortgage company to renegotiate my loan, but have not heard anything from them concerning it.

What happens after we receive an NOD (Notice of Default)?
We got behind on our payments when they raised the rate, and my husband was in the hospital, then wasn't working as much. We are in a much better situation now, but since getting our NOD the mortgage company will not take any payments from us anymore, and I do not want to lose my home.
Is there hope to get a workout with National City
I was in forbearance until February 1, 2009 and now trying to get it again long enough to get a repayment plan or a refinanced loan. National City would not return my calls in January to assist me in making a repayment plan. I had surgery in Sept. '08 and was off work with no income for 4 months.

Why can't I use my Equity to stop foreclosure?
I was laid off and am currently working part time. Some weeks I make more than others! I have equity in my house but my mortgage company would not let me use it.

Saxon has people doing drive bye's on our home
We are currently 60 days past due. They have refused to work with us and have sent people to come and drive by to appraise the house. We looked at the mortgage and realized we had payed all interest this year, a total of $15000. That is half of my income.

I can't afford my home, taxes or insurance... what now?
My mortgage company failed to put my insurance and real estate taxes in escrow, which I had asked for, and now my insurance has been canceled and I don't know whether my taxes have been paid.
