Hope Now should be called No Hope Now...
After 5 letters, at least 6 calls, and always being put on hold, I finally got a hold of somebody from Citi Residential Lending/AMC. Also, through a letter from them, and HopeNow. We were treated very unfair, and cheated out of a second chance to homeownership.

Am I another number to Citi Residential or do they care?
Hello, Although I didn't like reading the stories out there but it was good to know I am not the only one dealing with issues with Citiresidential/AMC. I need help finding assistance getting out of my ARM. Currently facing possible foreclosure with Citi Residential Lending (use to be AMC).

I can't get a straight answer with Citi Residential
The house is actually 3 bedroom and 3 full baths. with a 2 car garage. We have been trying every since October of 2005 trying to work with Citi Residential formally AMC. We have asked about deferring a payment but they told me they don't fo that.

Citi Residential reps are the rudest people
We are not in trouble with foreclosure but rather we were looking for a better homeowners insurance rate and went over by two and half months before we found the rate we liked.

Risking foreclosure caused us to file Ch 13, that did not help
Had a loan with Ameriquest, changed name to AMC that kept raising interest rate and payments, we kept getting farther behind until we were risking foreclosure and had to file a chapter 13 bankruptcy. They raised the interest and payment 3 more times to like 10.

I have reached my limit with Citi Residentail, I don't know what to do now.
I have reached my limit. Anytime I contact my lender, first of all your on hold for hours, then when you do get someone they don't know anything and have to transfer you, then you end up talking to a recording. Its very frustrating. I have nothing else left. I cant do this anymore.

Citi Residential forced up my Escrow by paying late taxes, can they do that?
Citi bought AMC, I was out of work for 6 months, avg 29 days late during this period, when CITI bought I called and advised I had been out of work, could they move one payment to end of loan so I'd be current, they said they had no policy to assist in that.

I can afford this, why won't they listen and help me avoid foreclosure?
I have had a lot of unexpected expenses. House got annexed into the city 2 years ago. Had to put city taxes on my escrow, made payment go up 100.00 in2007. lateral line on septic tank got hole in it. insurance at work went up 100 month. having to pay 200.00 a month to city for annexation.

I don't know if we should look at selling the home to avoid foreclosure
I spoke with someone about selling my home, however i would also like to see if I could get a loan modification, I don't know if we would be able to rent a place with the behind payments showing on the credit, I don't really know what to do at this point, so I would like to explore some options.
