I feel locked in... am I?
I am locked in a three year contract,interest only with no re-fi, and 20%penalty I been paying on time for the last year(12) months to be exact. At this pace I will be paying 135,000.

Why is there nothing Avelo can do in Michigan to stop the foreclosure
We are making our payments but they killing us. We won't be able to make them much longer. I have called our mortgage company twice to see if we could re-write the mortgage so we could afford to keep the home. I thought this would be a win/win. Avelo says is isn't something they can do in Michigan.

We may be forcced to give up our home... what options do we have?
I am 77 and my wife 72. We want to sell this home-have had it listed, not currently. I am currently able to service this debt. However we are finding it is extremely difficult to physically maintain this home not to mention financially. This home was appraised 460,000 last year.
