loan modification to lower my payment
I have been working with my mortgage company (Litton) to do a loan modification. After being told not to make a payment for the entire time they were working on the loan, they came back with an offer for loan modification: the offer was to raise my mortgage by approx. 200.00 a month.

I HAVE MORTGAGE THROUGH CITI MORTGAGE. I HAVE TRIED TO TELL THEM WHEN I CAN PAY AND THEY WILL TELL ME GIVE THEM 15 DAYS TO DECIDE IF THEY WILL ACCEPT THAT. I AM 4 MONTHS BEHIND DUE TO DECREASE IN JOB SITUATION AND MEDICAL AND TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT TO THEM WITH NO RESULTS IN BETWEEN.

I was not notified of the sale and my home was foreclosed
There foreclosure sale was Jan. 13th, 2009, and I was not notified of this sale by letter or any other way. I received a letter "demand for Possession" in 10 days, which has now passed.

How can I buy the home back in the redemption period?
Home was sold in foreclosure nov. 2007. I tried for a week by phone to avoid foreclosure but got the run around from both the mortgage company and the attorneys for the mortgage company. I need information as to how to retrieve my home with right of first redemption.

Great news... my home has already been foreclosed, what now?
My home have already been foreclosed on. I can redeem it. I have money to bring to the table. My daughter have been dealing with mental illness for over a year. She is now in a controlled home, placed by DHR. I am now able to make my payments.

Pre-payment penalty questions
I don't know if you can help me. I live in Dothan, AL and I purchased a home with Chevy Chase Home Mortgage Co. I went through a broker for a loan called a (MTA), and I guess it wasn't fully explained to me and my wife. I also was told there was no pre pay in Alabama.
