Ocwen
February 04, 2011
My loan was sold to Ocwen from Saxon Mortgage in November 2009. I was not behind on my payments until then. The new company has a different pay on date and I am paid once per month on the 15th. That makes all my payments late and I incur late fees every month that compound monthly.

Our lender was Saxon. We tried to get on the Obama program with them made our payments on time, 6-7 months later they went up on our mtg from 1500 to 2700. then sold the loan to Ocwen who told us don't call us, we'll call you; we are working on your loan modification. This was 3 months ago.

We are currently trying to get a loan modification with Ocwen, but we received a hearing summons for a foreclosure. We would like to know how to avoid foreclosure, we want to keep the house and start making payments again under a loan modification plan.

Currently, I am enrolled in a loan modification program. However, I have not heard from Ocwen whether or not I've been approved. I feel as though I'm getting "the run-around", and they instruct me to keep calling for updates.

We have a mortgage with Ocwen. We have a loan modification with them but it raised our monthly payment from 750.00 to 971.00. They also added 11,000 to our mortgage principal. Our interest rate is 12%. We lost the 10% we put down on the house. Now we discovered mold which is making my husband sick.

Ocwen Federal has been playing games with me for over a year. They were telling me that they were working on my loan modification, while all along they were setting a foreclosure sale date. The whole thing was just a smoke screen for them to take my home.

We got behind on our payments to Ocwen in 2008. This was due primarily to 2 job layoffs. Since then we have made our monthly payments on time, and can continue to do so, but we never caught up when we fell behind.

We were in a Chapter 13 and converted it into a Chapter 7. We have been trying to work on a loan modification with our mortgage company but the modification is too high and the interest rate is high.
