What can I do if my house that is in foreclosure was burned down?
My house is in foreclosure. There was a house fire, the house was considered a total loss by the insurance company, but it was under insured. The mortgage company will not apply the insurance to the loan. I have someone who will purchase the house for the remainder of the balance of the loan.

I think we got scammed, now we get foreclosed... how is this fair?
House was refinanced for a business opportunity in October 2006. I personally was led to believe that my name was not going to be on the mortgage, which it is not, however it is on the note. I contacted the mortgage company and stated in Sept.

What are responsible solutions to foreclosure?
I've had a hard time after my divorce and still helping a daughter with college expenses and also sharing joint custody of my youngest daughter. All I need is to be able to get the payments back to what I can afford them.
