Saxon refuses to take my payement and they are foreclosing
The foreclosure was filed just last week about 5 days ago... I don't want to loose this house... the reason for falling behind is two fold.. the refinancing into a fixed rate was not disclosed to me as being $400 dollars higher then we where paying until it was too late just over a year ago..
Can we extend the life of the loan with Litton
This is my dads house, he is 74 and has worked everyday of his life until he was injured, so he is having a hardship at this time but my husband is navy and we can make the payments just not the past due pymts and fees, until daddy can wk again, the pymt is 414.73 + 192.56, we want a morg.

Katrina started this whole foreclosure mess
I am a single parent and I lost my job during Katrina and got behind on the payments. When I found another job and start back making payments I was too far behind and it was too late. I tried to receive help, but was turned down. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren in the house with me.

Ch 13 Bankruptcy did not stop the foreclosure
The past die amount was included in the arrearage in my Chapter 13 plan. I will explain my situation.
I filed Chapter 13 in July of 2005 because my husband lost his job and we fell 3 months behind on our mortgage.

Ch 13 Bankruptcy did us no good at all...
After Katrina, mortgage company put us on a program and after 3 months our payment went from 845 to 1347, more than we could pay on time. I am a Registered nurse, and was hurt in a fall at a friend's apartment.

I can't even sell this thing
I had purchased the home with my fiancee at the time. He moved out in November 2006 and stopped assisting with payments. I tried to make all the payments I could, then my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and he could not work. I made the choice to sell my home and help them full time.
