Is there any obligation for EMC to lower my rate if I can't afford it?
I've talked to EMC and other foreclosure companies about loan modifications. They either wanted a lump sum in a very short time; that I don't have now. Or EMC wanted me to do a 3 month payment arrangement, saving me only $300.00 a month, which is still too much.

I made a downpayment for a Loan Modification with ASC, then nothing
I was pre-approved for a loan modification plan and they advice us not to make payments until February of 2008, I have not heard anything and I paid my down payment in October, sent all the paper work as needed. I called in they advised me my loan modification is still in review.

We need Wells Fargo to approve a loan modification
We are currently 14,400.00 past due(including payment plan of the 3months behind from last year 2006), app for loan mod was denied and can re-App again. Family will open shop in Jan/Feb 2008 and income from this will defiantly help with our current situation but in the meantime what can we do?

I need a Loan Modification
We are seeking a modification but the mtg. company keep stating that is something they do not do. We're unable to refinance because of the pre-payment penalty. My wife has been unable to work due to a high-risk pregnancy.

Can a loan modification get me a fixed rate that I can afford?
We are constantly getting questions form people that need help because their mortgage has adjusted and they can’t afford the higher amount. Many mortgage companies have adjusted their ability to help home owners that are in this circumstance.
