Bank of America bought my loan from Countrywide
My Mortgage was bought by Bank of america from Countrywide home loans. Now they say I am 5 months behind and am sure they are working to foreclose. UGH! My friend thinks I should just walk away but not after living here 22 years and not for $8700 debt.

They want us to pay this huge amount monthly in a repayment plan, we can't afford that much
The amount the bank wants us to pay on top of the monthly payment is NOT what we can afford! We owe about $2500.00 in back payments. We don't want to lose our home !! We have four kids at home so $1,000.00+ a month payments are not possible!!

Is it too much to ask to lower our paynents to something we can afford
We are retired and have a 14 year old son. We get SS for the three of us and adoption subsidy for our son. We refinanced last Aug. and because of financial circumstances with an adult sons car accident we got behind.

They have not contacted me, do you think they will forget about it?
Come April we will owe four payments to the mortgage company. my wife is currently the only one employed. my question is i have a settlement coming in April i was just wandering if they will take my home before the end of April,even though they have not contacted me about foreclosure.

Loan Mdification was denied, should I try for a Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure?
We inquired about a loan modification and was denied. We had a contingency offer on our home, so we applied for a short sale. The contract fell through and we've not heard whether or not the short sale was accepted or denied.

Getting your deliquent mortgage caught up... is not that easy
I am able to pay my mortgage payments it is getting the delinquent amounts caught up on that I need some time to do so. My account has already been turned over to an attorneys office. Just need time to come up with the past due amounts and bring account current.
