WHat options do I have while in Bankruptcy?
I am self employed, and in active bankruptcy (filed in 2005). I have missed a payment in 2006, 2007, and now last month. Which now totals 3 payments. I have received papers indicating that HSBC is going to try to have the bankruptcy lifted in order to proceed with foreclosure.

What to do now...
Our house was sold back to the bank at a sheriff's auction. We did not find out that this was scheduled to happen until a friend who attends these auctions told us it was scheduled. I then contacted the attorney who told me to contact the bank to postpone.

What does Stop foreclosure mean... can it be done in my case?
There has already been a sheriff's sale on my property and my redemption period is almost up. I'm just interested in all of the claims the companies can 'stop a foreclosure'.

Can HSBC take my money and still foreclose?
I was served foreclosure papers in may 2007. In October 2007, HSBC told me if I gave them $9000 by October 30, 2007, that would bring my account current. It has been 3 months since I made the $9000 payment and HSBC refuses to accept my monthly mortgage payments and refuses to contact me.
Here is my situation with HSBC
I am current with all bills including my mortgage payment but have had to put some living expenses on credit cards in order to make ends meet. I do not wish to continue in this pattern. I also do not wish to proceed down the path of foreclosure.

I have contacted HSBC and they don't care
We have been trying to regain our savings and credit since a 5 year law suit put us $50,000 in the hole. I just had hand surgery and am off work for 12 weeks. When I called both the mortgage companies to try and suspend 3 payments until May they don't care.

Flip flop and HSBC could lead to foreclosure
We were trying to sell our home before our ARM adjusted. HSBC said we did not qualify for their hardship program. So the only company that would do a refi was Citfinancial. We didn't realize that is a loan from hell. The payment is way to much which leaves us falling behind on all our other bills.

Can I find any assistance with a foreclosure if we have lost employment?
My husband lost his job and after 6 months got a new job but making much less. After working there for almost a year he was injured on the job and placed on light duty make only a percent of his original pay. We have just continued to get further and further behind.
They will give us a fixed rate if we can get the back payments caught up
HSBC will not give us a fixed mortgage. They had agreed to hold off on the foreclosure until I received the funds to catch up. My wife lost her job and so we couldn't keep up. Then they raised our payment from 850.00 per month to 1033 per month.

They will not respond to me to stop the foreclosure
In July I sent them a hardship package that they never processed, I just updated it for them...if they will process it. However with each call I make to them I get different information.
