Indymac already started the foreclosure process and I want to stop foreclosure. What I really need right away is help writing a hardship letter.

How do you write a hardship letter?
We have received the notice of foreclosure but have 20 days to respond. Every time I have tried working something out they want me to pay more per month than I am now and I have trouble making the payments now.

What is a Hardship Letter
A Hardship letter is something most Mortgage Companies will require to consider you for a “Work Out”. This is your opportunity to appeal to them to give you another chance. The hardship letter should not be used to complain to what they have done or not done to make your situation worse.
