HAMP Loan Modification with Flagstar
we had a trial loan modification for 3 months and then Flagstar notified us that we could not qualify for the Obama HAMP Program since our monthly gross income was more than 31% of the monthly mortgage amount.....

Flagstar isn't helping me
Started with a search on Lendingtree to see what we needed to be approved to buy the house we were renting when owner's put it up for sale. That house would not appraise for loan (according to Flagstar loan officer) so we began search for house since were were pre-approved by lender.

Can I get a loan modification with Flagstar
I have been working with a few different people from Flagstar since 2009. However, I have been getting the usual run-a-round. I would like to try to see about saving my house with a loan modification. I've been trying to avoid foreclosure for months now, but no success.

The only way I can keep my home is with a Loan Modification... is there any other way?
I can not afford my house payment due to reduced income and excessive obligations. I want to keep my home . I want to have some kind of workout or modification to reduce my payment.

What are the ramifications of a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure
We do not currently live in the home. We had to leave the state of MI for my husband to find a job. (we now live in GA) The payment with taxes and homeowners insurance is closer to $1200.

I don't think Flagstar wants to help me with my foreclosure
I made my 1st late mortgage payment in oct/07 in which I had let them know in advance hoping they would at least waive the late payment which they denied so I figured they were not going to help in any way.

Can you get Flagstar to call me back and not to tell me they took my home?
I have tried contacting them but no return calls. I even emailed them but they just emailed back numbers to call which doesn't help me. Since I hadn't heard from them I sent them a check for 1200.00 don't know if they accepted it or not. I have left messages for them to help resolve this matter
