Will Everhome modify my loan payment
Before we made a late payment, we wrote a letter to a litigation department asking for help. Our mortgage adjusted in November 2007 and it went up by almost $1000 a month. We asked to modify our mortgage as refinancing was not an option due to decrease in value.

No child support = no money for house payment
I went through a divorce in 2003 and fell behind for a short time due to no child support. The mortgage company re-negotiated my payments from $1360 to $1600. I've been paying that for a little over a year. It then became a hardship again and fell behind, I believe in October 2007.

Don't listen to your Mortgage Company if they tell you not to make a payment.
I am not familiar with the company Able Mediation. When a Mortgage Company tries to talk you out of working with a third party they should immediately be prepared to offer you a workout. If they don't, then you need to ask why. Don't let any Mortgage Company stall out the process.

My Loan was sold.. now the new mortgage has no record of my payments?
