Don't want Deficiency Judgment
My wife and I built our dream house in 2007, then my employer forced me to move in 2008. We tried renting and selling the house to no avail.
We want out of home
We purchased our home in 2007. My house has been on the market since August 2009. We both commute from PA to our jobs in NJ. We no longer wish to live in PA and cannot find financially viable jobs in PA. Our home is not moving as it is in competition with the many foreclosures in the area.

Does GMAC do Short Sale?
I am trying to do a short sale and GMAC offered the option of deed in lieu of foreclosure. Are there any alternative to suffering foreclosure? I want to avoid foreclosure without doing a bankruptcy and ruining my credit. I received their court documents earlier this week and don't know what to do.

I really need to stop foreclosure. We have been working with a Realtor since July and Ocwen is refusing to work with us on a Short Sale or Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure. Please Help

Short Sale or Deed In Lieu with Bank of America?
We were in foreclosure, so we moved out. Then Bank of America decided to hold off on the foreclosure and asked us to put it for sale. They told me that if it doesn't sell they would do a deed and lieu.

Call me crazy, but I do care about what I may leave behind
I am receiving my last paycheck on May 23, 2008. I am retiring and moving away from this property to a property that my husband and I own in Tennessee. The house here has been for sale since Feb. 14. I will no longer be able to make house payments or home owners insurance beyond my last paycheck.

I am looking into the options of a Deed-in-Lieu, should I be?
I bought this house with my wife in September 2005. In December of 2005 we decided to get a divorce and the divorce was finalized in April 2006. If January 2006 we put our house up for sale by owner. With no luck with For Sale By Owner, we signed with a real estate agent in March 2006.

What are the ramifications of a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure
We do not currently live in the home. We had to leave the state of MI for my husband to find a job. (we now live in GA) The payment with taxes and homeowners insurance is closer to $1200.

Should I do a Deed-in-lieu of Foreclosure
I had a few questions regarding my situation. My property is a 3 br 2 bath house with a detached 600 sq ft cottage on a third acre. The front house has a family who gave me a verbal 30 day notice to vacate.
