ASC told me they were just a servicing company and that they could not help me
I have actually tried before my first payment was even late and advised the first mortg. company that it was really starting to be a problem to make the mortgage payments due to a new job that paid a lot less than what i was making when i first bought the house.

My home burned down an I can't afford to rebuild, what can Option One do to us?
Our home was lost in a wildfire and we are insured for only 43,000.00. (We didn't know that of course). We are not making payments because we can't afford to continue to pay on a piece of dirt that doesn't have a home on it, and we can't rebuild one.

What happens to a Renter during and after foreclosure?
I am a lodger with a rental agreement with the owner of a house in Palm Desert, CA. I rent a room in back with access to the inside kitchen and bathroom. I am a single dad on public assistance with my two children.
I have been calling and calling Saxon... still no response
I have been calling my mortgage company on a weekly basis. I have been told to be patient my loan is being worked out. This loan has been in process for over 5 months. I am told I will get a phone call withing 48 hours, and they do not call me back.

I feel locked in... am I?
I am locked in a three year contract,interest only with no re-fi, and 20%penalty I been paying on time for the last year(12) months to be exact. At this pace I will be paying 135,000.
Wells Fargo said the investor does not allow Loan Modifications... is that right?
I make my mortgage payments to Countrywide. I have tried to request a loan modification. They say "the investor does not allow modifications to this loan". Countrywide is ONLY servicing the loan...Wells Fargo is the investor.
I need my payments lowerd
I would like to do a loan modification on my current loan. The reason for us falling behind is that my husband had a stroke (he is not on the loan) and we went through all of our savings and I was only working part time to care for him. He is now stable and I am back to work full time.
Will Everhome modify my loan payment
Before we made a late payment, we wrote a letter to a litigation department asking for help. Our mortgage adjusted in November 2007 and it went up by almost $1000 a month. We asked to modify our mortgage as refinancing was not an option due to decrease in value.
My eight kids are too much for me to afford the home, it's either them or the house
My problem is not unique. Since we purchase this house, we refinanced into one ARM to get out of another because it was set to adjust. Always on the hope that our credit would improve enough for us to get a standard 30 year fixed at a good rate.
