National City forced escrow
Settled on Nov.2007 by July 2008 I was told by National City I didn't have enough in my escrow to pay my taxes by $4000.00 and I had to start paying $100.00 extra added to my mortgage and addl $1276.00 along with my July mortgage $2235.00 with 2 weeks notice. Now my mortgage is $2335.00. However they never trued up my loan, so now my insurance is due you guessed it they need another $60.00 now they can't pay my insurance. I call them about it they refused to re figure my loan. so my escrow is still short yet I'm paying all this extra money. They're asking me what the hardship is. In Oct 2009 they sell my mortgage to Greentree a Collection Agency By January 2010 they want an add'l $60.00 you guessed it my escrow is short again so I write the check for my homeowners insurance. They want to know what the hardship is. I say you're the hardship then I proceed to explain why. Like I don't know National City turned it over to then hoping it would foreclose before anyone saw what kick started the would thing. At first all I wanted was my loan trued up now I want a loan modification at 3% based on all the money that was never accounted for. My taxes not paid, insurance not paid yet they keep increasing my mortgage. Logistically I paid 2 settlement for this service why would I pay for it again. Who could I possibly owe after 3 years of Blackmail payments down a black hole. Greentree letterhead says this is an attempt to collect a debt your mort isn't a debt it's and investment. National City sent the rest to PNC. I work 12 hrs a day up @ 3am and home by 8pm and any OT I can get just to pay them $60.00 increments no one notices $100.00 would set up red flags on a 30 year fixed if I go to court someone could go to jail Greentree actually threatens me with foreclosure when questioned in dept. I'm not backing down. Feel free to forward if you think some one else can run with it i can corroborate it there are others out there help me you won't regret it.
