Loan Modification with Beneficial
August 03, 2010
Beneficial reduced our payments on a trial loan modification last year from $830.00 to $641.02, but it only lasted six months. We do not want to lose our home. We can't afford the regular payment, but we can afford a loan modification if Beneficial will allow one. We built this house and will not sell to anyone but family. We do not want to lose our home to foreclosure. Thanks for any information

WRITE YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL OR EMAIL THEM . Complain about every rotten thing Beneficial does when you try to deal with them (like not being able to talk with a specific person on phone), talking with their customer service people that you may not be able to understand , or maybe faxing papers that they say they never received . I went through all that and more but I did end up getting a full term modification from 8.7% to 5.5% . Keep bugging the Atty Gen. and don't forget to mention the thousands of other people getting treated the same way by Beneficial . CLASS ACTION ANYONE?
