Loan Modification with PHH

July 28, 2010

I am waiting to see if I qualify for a loan modification with PHH but I have to think since I am technically 12 months behind that they wont approve it. No foreclosures have started and I have been in contact weekly with the loan modification group and have spoken to the loss mitigation group as well. All is in limbo and still under review. I need a loan modification with PHH.

I have been in a loan modification with PHH Mortgage out of Mt. Laurel,New Jersey now for 12 months and the last i heard was it was still in review. I have was served my first notice of default in Dec of 2009. I started this program with a Loan Modification firm in Las Vegas,Nv only to find out my Loan modification was outsourced to a company in Los Angeles and they also said it was in review. I am thinking about a short sale because this is ridiculous how i am treated with no communication with them. I treat my dog better than this. I would like to hear about any feedback on what i should do. I am sure they are going to foreclose on me and probably with a short notice to vacate.

My husband and I have applied for a loan modification. We were told that our payment would be placed at the end of our loan while modification was being worked on. It has been 3 to 4 months now. We received notice via someone coming to cut grass on our property, that we had been foreclosed. We received not notice whatsoever. We received a letter a month later stating that they were just receiving our request for a loan modification. But we are still expected to move before a decision is made. What is there for us to do?
