Forbearance to avoid foreclosure
June 09, 2010
My home is already in foreclosure. They did not notify me until i called to pay what i was behind and then they told me it was in foreclosure. I called the number they gave me and it took three weeks to get someone to talk to me. Now they have been working on a modification but denied that last week. They assured me they would work with me so i would not lose my home. Now I don't know what to do. I can afford the monthly payments, it is just the amount i was behind i cant get caught up on. Now they wont except any payment from me at all. I need a forbearance to avoid foreclosure.

Hamp Program and your lender-If you have been laid off or do not have the means to make a smaller payment; you will not get the hamp program or any other program-no matter what the lender says - you will be foreclosed upon-but if you live in one of the hardest hit states and you have been laid off - you DO qualify for the hardest hit fund!!
