Bank of America lost our paperwork
June 11, 2010
Bank of America was suppose to be working with us but never sent us the necessary documents to apply for Loan Modification. First time of application, they turned us down because our information was entered in the computer wrong. I sent them documentation and they failed to read or review. We have no where to go. Help Us. Calls to get help are on the record. Thank you.

I don't feel alone anymore knowing I am not the only one dealing with all the challanges Bank of America is giving to home owners.. I have been in my home since 1997 made all my payments prior to the due date and when I lost my job my 1st call was to BofA. They did not seem to be very accomidating to my situation. In August I called them to get a loan modification and I am still waiting for paperwork that was sent!!!!
I have been dealing with Bank of America since September of 2010 and prior to that with Frist Franklin. I submitted paperwork for a loan modification to First Franklin three times and was turned down once because I made to much then after I had been laid off for 6 months for lack of proof of unemployment. I went to court for a foreclosure in September but did not find out that Bank of America now owned my mortgage until days prior to the court date. The attorney for Frist Franklin didn't even now that Bank of America owned my mortgage. Now I have submitted my paperwork to BOA three times also and just recently got turned down because "they are unable to create an affordable payment equal to 31% of your reported gross income without changing the terms of your loan beyond the requirements of the program." What the heck does that mean? BOA and First Franklin have stalled and constantly losing my paperwork, asking for my information all in an attempt to delay a loan modification. Now I have been unemployed for 18 months and I am about to lose my home. It was a great idea for the government to bail out the banks now wasn't it?
