I NEED HELP GETTING A LOAN MODIFICATION WITH LITTON

May 31, 2010

I WAS CONSIDERED FOR THE HAMP LOAN MODIFICATION THEN I RECEIVED A NOTICE OF DEFAULT WHEN CALLING LITTON I WAS TOLD MY LOAN MODIFICATION WAS DENIED AND PAY 19,000.00 DOLLARS IN 45 DAYS. THEN I RECEIVED A LETTER EXPLAINING TO ME THAT THE LOAN MODIFICATION WAS DENIED BUT I MIGHT BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN IN HOUSE MODIFICATION. AFTER CALLING LITTON I CANNOT GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER, NEVER CAN TALK TO THE SAME PERSON, AND AM NOW TRYING WITH CERTIFIED MAIL TO GET SOME ONE TO TALK WITH ME ON THIS MATTER. I ALWAYS PAID MY MORTGAGE ON TIME EVEN DURING THE MODIFICATION NOW ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS THREATEN FORECLOSURE. I NEED HELP GETTING A LOAN MODIFICATION WITH LITTON.

Litton Loan will deny you the hamp program at first, re-apply-you are entitled to - over and overkeep pushing it. call every week. I did all this and waited 8 months. It takes alot but keep pushing them..

How do you keep pushing if they refuse to answer the phone or return calls. Each time you talk with someone different and each rep. tells you something different. I am working on my third attempt at getting a HAMP modification. Each time I was denied for a different reason( incomplete application, denied because my application doesn't meet investor guidelines) What's the next excuse?

Starting the 06/15/2010-06/19/2010 Litton Loans calls each day, when I answer no one talks on Littons Loans side of the phone. Today they called and asked for my wife. She was at work, so I asked if I could help them. Litton Loans said no, I told them my name was also on the mortgage. Litton Loans said no and they hung up.

Yes keep calling every tuesday. if they say they need more paperwork, they really do. Fax it on Wednesday call back on Friday to make sure its logged. CALL EVERY TUESDAY.

It took me 8 months. BUt my rate went from 9.9 to 4.2.
