Is there any help with ASC?
I have been trying to work with America's Servicing Company since October for a loan modification packet. I had to call 2 times and finally received it in Jan. The last person I spoke to had said nothing had 'escalated' and just send back packet. However, last week I found out vicariously that now my house is in foreclosure with a sale date next month. I am desperate to understand, and do what ever i need to do to keep that from happening. I had offered to make payments best I could since Oct but was told not to. Now, it is in foreclosure for non payment! Catch 22. I want to be able to postpone the foreclosure, but now don't trust Americas Servicing Company to expedite the postponement and allow time for the loan modification review to complete and or make other arrangements to pay something... anything... whatever I need to keep my home. I was wondering if it is feasible to work with an 'outside' source that could still assist me with what needs to be done and can help me to escalate them postponing the foreclosure. TIME IS OF THE UTMOST and very critical... ANY ADVICE???? thanking you for prompt response.

you might want to consider filling a chapter 13 to stop the foreclosure in it's tracks. Then you need to go to the neighborhood credit counceling agency. Your counselman can also help you to find that agency. Some counselman's office actually do loan mod's, and some don't. I would speak to a bankruptcy lawyer immediately. As long as the house has not been sold at sherrifs auction, then you can stop the foreclosure.
