December 21, 2010

We are currently trying to get a loan modification with Ocwen, but we received a hearing summons for a foreclosure. We would like to know how to avoid foreclosure, we want to keep the house and start making payments again under a loan modification plan. what is going to happen after the hearing? we are terrified of losing our home.

Hi I am very frightened by the bad reviews for Ocwen. They want me to send them $5500.00 I decided to file Chapter 13 so that I can pay through the Court and their lawyer. They service Wells Fargo loans They are foreclosing on my 80 year old fathers house. So after reading the reviews my only choice is to file to protect the money I send

I just got served foreclosure papers by Ocwen Servicing;have a loan modification when I ws with Homeq that Ocwen never recognized; I paid my August 2011 payment by Western Union on October 27, 2011 within the Connecticut law of 90 days. just got off phone with an OCWEN representative; he stated that theydo not accept payments that are past 79 days( my modification says that I have 90 days!!!) and have returned my money to me...told I can pay almost $13,000 which includes $7,000 in their fees to stop foreclosure or attempt to do an inhouse modification as I am no longer eligible for a HAMP...I am going to fill out the modification papers for their in-house mod but no guarantees; so fearful of losing my house....got in this predicament because I took care of a terminally ill father who has just passed away; lost pay, no regrets, also recently found out that I have a tumor in my neck, not operable; where is the law for the consumer behind all this....I also heard that the Federal Trade Commission is investigating OCWEN for its procedures...... don't know what to do...any suggestions

Ocwen is horrible horrible company. I will lose my home to fraudulent fees. Ocwen took control in November from Litton and its been a total nightmare since. Need help. I love my home and family. How dare USA allow this to happen. Shame shame.

Need help desperately

I whole-heartedly agree that Ocwen sucks. But you have to pay your bills. I'm going through hell trying to buy a house that fell into short sale status with Ocwen, because the present owners are upside down and hiding money in order to not pay what they had a contract to pay on their house. Don't "Buy" what you can't afford.

i have a mortgage through ocwen and it has been a 13 year nightmare with a balloon payment due in 2 years that was supposed to be terminated through the attorney generals office BUT ocwen won't honor it had to get a lawyer now Ocwen are bloodsuckers

Not everyone has bought a house they couldn't afford. It goes without saying the economy is in a bad place and it makes it works that you have to deal with a company that can't understand what you are saying. It takes you 30 minutes to explain something that should only take 2 minutes to get across. I had difficulty after I lost my job. I could afford the home in the beginning but now it make a fraction of what I use to make. I hope this company is forced to shut down. It's hard going thru financial difficulty and nearly losing your home but it's even worse when the rep on the other side of the phone has no clue to what you are saying.

Ocwen paid taxes on our land that is not part of our mortgage now they want to foreclose on us. we hired a lawyer, and when we call them there is no one that speaks english and understands or wants to understand, so now we have to fight in court,
