Partial Claim with Bank of America
I bought my home for my 4 children and myself. I lost my job of 8 years in January 2009. I kept making payments with savings and unemployment benefits. I called once a month to Countrywide to inform them that I was looking for work and if they had any options available. No was the answer and that I had to be late before anything was offered. Well, Bank of America took over, I kept making payments, moving around what ever bills I could to keep my house. I was told by one of the BofA rep that I need to accept whatever job was offered or have a tenant to keep up with payments.(job was minimum wage) I found work in August 2009. The job was not as advertise and told. Lost unemployment benefit for being fired. that's when the payment stop in October 2009. I recently found work, real work. I can start making my payments again but BofA rep said not to send any payments unless I could pay all that was late 12k. Im in the middle of a foreclosure process that is pending because of my request for a partial claim. I'm so scare that Im going to be denied and will have to let my house go. I've already requested for a loan modification and was denied. I've been sending documents for the last four months and have not heard anything except that it was in review. Help.
