Bank of America isn't helping
I have been on the MHA program making trial payments on-time since April 2010. I was just informed via phone that I am denied due to two modifications in 2008 (within the same year). However, my original mortgage payment on my first was $3003.00. When I received the loan modification my payments was increased to $3450.00. I did the loan modification on my own and was informed by the Bank of America Customer Serv. Rep. that if I did not sign it then I would lose the loan modification and possibly my home. I was not aware of any options, so I signed it. I could not afford these payments because obviously it was an increase. I asked for another loan modification, which they approved but placed my payments back at $2985.00 which again never brought me to a significant lower payment. During my Making Homes Affordable, MHA I was given $1915.65 as my trial payments which I can afford. I am the only one who is working and the loan is in my husband's name. I was told by the Customer Serv. Rep that I can only have two loan modifications within five years and three in a lifetime. She said I could speak with loss mitigation for a possible special forbearance or see if they can make an exception to my modification and let me be approved for this last modification. Please let me know if anybody can help. I received an "intent to accelerate" over the weekend, so I am quite concerned. I have faith in my Lord Savior and through him is how I found this website by just searching around the internet. He would not take me this far, to leave me. I appreciate somebody contact me at your earliest convenience. Warm Regards, Kimberly
