How do you write a hardship letter?
August 13, 2009
We have received the notice of foreclosure but have 20 days to respond. Every time I have tried working something out they want me to pay more per month than I am now and I have trouble making the payments now. We were barely scraping by and then we lost our business contract and were unemployed for almost 3 months. We had job losses, but we are working now and could make the payments now but have now way to catch up all of the back payments and late charges/fees. We need foreclosure help. I don't know how to write a hardship letter.

Many homeowners are losing their homes because of the current economic crisis. The best way they can do is to apply for a loan modification to lessen the burden of paying high amoubnts of their monthly debts. Good thing there are lots of companies nowadays that can help them to modify their existing loans.
Just outline exactly what is causing you to not make your mortgage payments.
