I need help getting a Loan Modification because of a recent divorce

I went thru a divorce last year, tried to refinance, tried to obtain a LOAN MODIFICATION. Was not successful on either of those. My payments have always been on time, however, it has been a struggle. I live paycheck to paycheck since my income was cut in half after the divorce and I was left with a lot of bills. We recently had a bad ice storm. I was without electricity for 11 days and when it came back on, my pipes had frozen and my house flooded. My insurance refuses to pay for the damage which was extensive. I cannot afford to pay for repairs and the house is unlivable as there is no water and mold is starting to grow, plus there is water sitting in my heating ducts. I have tried working with my mortgage comapny to no avail. I have contacted them and explained the situation. I have not paid my mortgage payment due at the first of this month, because I am going to have to move out and cannot afford to pay the mortgage and rent somewhere else. I don't know what else to do but let it go into foreclosure.
