What will Obamas foreclosure plan do for me and the foreclosure I am facing
We are currently in the middle of a short sale but no one wants to buy. We have a fixed rate mortgage but it went up $200 in september. My husband lost his job last year but did get a new job. This made us fall behind and our lender was not working with us to try to help us at all. They offered a payment plan that was more than we could afford. So we tried to do a short sale, but it is not working either. Also have been hearing about Obama's plan and wonder if we would qualify. Whether we can keep our house or sell it, either is fine with me as long as we dont foreclose.
