They are foreclosing on me and my animals

February 11, 2009

Our time is running out and I do not know where we will go. Nobody wants to rent to people with bad credit and pets. We have very old dogs and old horses that we love very much. Rescue organizations are bursting at the seams here in Michigan and will not take anymore pets. I would rather live on the street than dump them somewhere. I pray you can help us. Also my way to young to have alzheimers sister needs 24 hour care and has lived here for over 20 years and it would be so cruel to her to move to a strange house now. her brain can no longer form any new memory. She came down with this when she was in her early 40s. My mother and I take care of her and her daughter. I am worried that someone will show up at our door and give us 20 minutes to get out. That is what I keep hearing. And then where do we go.

on 2/27/2009 What a LIE!!! Citi Residential Lending was my lender on my home. I had made all my payments on time for 4 years straight. In 2007 I knew that hard economic times were coming so I decided to call the bank to see what my options might be. i.e. low intrest rate, extend mortgage, defer a few payment...SOMETHING! After 3 calls and being denied ANY options, I was called a "smartass". I simply stated: "it seems the bank would rather me leave my keys on the counter and walk away from the house". I was serious and in no way acting like a smartass. I simply wanted to know what options were available for me. So, for the above statistics to proudly state that Citi Bank "works" with customers to keep them in there house...BULLSHIT!!! By the way, I did walk from my home leaving the keys behind...NO options were available, nor were they offered to me.

LISA !!!!!!DO NOT LEAVE your house.
They don't have your mortgage note.
that is why they can't modify the loan. Go to you tube. search "mortgage notes"and watch the videos !!!!

I, too, fell for their BS. I had refinanced my original loan (Wells Fargo) in 2005 with AMC, which subsequently was taken over by Citi Residential. Everything was ok until I lost my job and had to use credit cards to survive. After listening to President Bush's address concerning home mortgages, I immediately called Citi to see if anything could be done as far as getting a 30-year fixed. They actually hung up on me. No other lender would help me out because the LTV was too high and the debt-to-income ratio was too high. I had no choice but to file for bankruptcy. So, when I went to my attorney to file Ch. 7, they originally told me fine; however, after looking at my paperwork, they said I did not qualify because my combined income and child support put me over the allowed limit for a Ch. 7. I had to file Ch. 13. So, although I had found a job, $775/month was being garnished from my wages and sent to a trustee who was paying my creditors. Well, I was recently let go from that job and am now collecting. I went to my attorney again. They had my Ch. 13 converted to Ch. 7; however, now Citi Residential's debt collector is calling me every 3 days harrassing me about the home I vacated over a year ago. I called my attorney again, and they advised that if the collector calls again, they're gonna get them on contempt.
