Is there hope to get a workout with National City
I was in forbearance until February 1, 2009 and now trying to get it again long enough to get a repayment plan or a refinanced loan. National City would not return my calls in January to assist me in making a repayment plan. I had surgery in Sept. '08 and was off work with no income for 4 months. Husband is self-employed and I was 95% of income. I have been employed by USPS, but was removed and now in an expensive legal battle that could end with loss of position and benefits. I am currently working but only bringing home about 1/2 my USPS wages and in a 100% commission job.
