I purchased a condemned property only to have it foreclosed
February 12, 2009
Purchased this property 25 years ago as a condemned property. Now it is worth $180K but I became disabled and cannot afford the mortgage. I am trying to sell it but no takers and would like to save my equity at least. I am months in arrears, a year almost and very concerned of course. The arrangements offered just were beyond my ability. How can I save my equity, almost $70K.

do not expect any help from wells fargo, i am in the same situation and they did not help me at all. i have house i could not sell, had short sale with a buyer, wells took to long and buyers walked away and not another offer since. asked for a deed in lieu, they said ok but would not work with my 2nd to offer them a release of title. i had worked with them 100% but would not work with me so i have no other choice but foreclose. they recieved all this money from the gov. our tax money and they are not willing to help us with our own money we gave them
