My wife did an illegal Loan Modification without my knowledge
I am 8 months into foreclosure...I was made all of these promises from Wamu to make for a much cheaper payment and interest rate and they did not come thru. My payments blew up to 950.00 per month and they offered to lower it to 897.00. I need it to be around 600.00 to be able to afford it. I went thru a divorce and my x wife did an illegal loan modification and was not making the payments is what started all of this. My payments was 566.00. She was pocketing the money and making it look like on the books that the payment was being made. When it went into foreclosure the first time in 2006 she did an illegal loan mod in 2007 to try to hide the foreclosure and when she left in April 2007 I found out that my payment had went up over 850.00...then she added a flexible rate that blew up even more.
