Can anybody help stop foreclosure?

December 24, 2009

We are working on a loan modification with Indy Mac but I am nervous about foreclosure. Please, can anybody help stop the foreclosure process?

There are still ways to stop a foreclosure even if your loan modification didn't go through. There are also forebearances of different kinds (each lender is different), there is the fannie mae hope loan for first mortgages, and more. You will just need to do a little research to find out what fits your situation best.

Just closed an IndyMac short sale today. Thought their process was much more streamlined that the bulk of short sales I've closed over the last year. This is the 3rd IndyMac in 12 months.
