Greentree keeps adding fees that I need to pay, what can I do

May 14, 2008

I received a NOD on Friday the 9th of May, mailed on the 8th. I can catch up the loan by June 8th and the late prop taxes also but now I'm also being charged 1500+ for foreclosure fees and 1352 for advances on the loan? (I think this is from last Feb when I worked out having 2 payments moved to the back end of the loan). I just need someone to get them to add these two things into the loan and I would be fine. P.S. They also have the figures on the NOD padded. They say I'm in default Feb, March and April but Feb was paid back in March. I sent them $900.00 on May 9th before I got home and found the NOD in the mail and I know they did not have that yet when they mailed the NOD out, so right now I am behind $552.00 out of the $708.00 due for April and $708.00 for May that was due yesterday, May 11th. Also my back prop taxes from 2007 due are $1085.32, I just called and checked. On the NOD they have them listed as $1576.41. P.S. Just wondering on the missed Feb payment they list on the NOD. Could they have put that in on purpose even though they know it was already received so they could add in the (advances on the loan) amount? Just wondering if that is something that they could only add to the NOD before 12 months have gone by so they are trying to slip it in by saying Feb payment was not received before they made the NOD which is not true.

I have been going through the same thing with Greentree. In February of this year they told us if we came up with the $400 to pay what was due then they would defer our loan payments until June of this year. The end of March they took a payment out of my account and when I called and asked what happened to the deferment they told me that there wasn't anything in place. When I was put in contact with my account rep., she said that she hadn't started any paperwork. She then looked at her notes and said sorry I was supposed to but you didn't call back and get it going. Now she was the one that said she was going to start the paperwork, why would I have to call her and ask her to start it? Well, my payment was returned because of NSF and now we are in default and trying to do hardship withdrawl on my husband's 401K because we can't borrow $1000 from anyone to get caught up. I just don't think it's right that they screwed up and we are the ones paying for it.

I was without work for a few months and was not able to pay my morgage in june,.. they were soon at my heels
.. luckily I found a job and had payed them back/up to date however now my monthly payment is around $1200.00.. it used to be $671.00 per mo. it didnt sink in until I added up, just in august ive payed approx.
$3000.00, and now I have recieved this bill of $1200.00 for september.
I may be complaining to soon, Maybe there has been some mistake or penalties, but,to me, I feel like they (greentree mortg.) want to take my home away from me to make a huge profit by reselling at full price as well as keep everything I have payed over the last ten years.

my home has been reverted to lender (wells fargo) due to similar scenerios w/adding more and more fees to stop the forclosure......... 3376.00 in a 4 week period to be exact..... this was through northwest trustee services....... but even after the hurdles we jumped through to save my home ...... I try to pay in person the amount quoted 2 days prior to me and was denied due to more fees ! we now got a 20 day notice to vacate from wells fargo...... what do i do next and what can the bank do to me ? any advice?

I Used to work for them.. I know you all have alot of ?'s and have every right to.. about the NOD there is several ways around it all depends on each acct as long as it was sent out before the payment was recived BUT you take that amt off of what the Notice Of Default was for.. such as NOD was 1,000 u snt in 200 prior to reciving to satisfy the NOD you have 800 lft to pay.. its hard to explain by typing it out.. BUT i will advise you all.. to note all the reps that you do talk to look up the FDCPA guide lines im sure you will see alot of laws that have been broke.. fight fire with fire you have to with them.. save the voice mails you get.. best of luck to you all..

My house was foreclosed on by Greentree. I am not disputing that. However, they came and changed the locks then cleared out a lot of my belongings without notifying me. After they changed the locks, I called several times to find out how I could get back in to get the rest of my things for I had moved most of it. I had no luck at all. Finally, the day I did speak to someone who would be willing to help me, it was too late. They were there the weekend before (can you believe that!) and took everything. Weren't they supposed to give me some sort of notice to vacate or something like that? When I asked where my stuff could have gone they responded by telling me the closest junk yard. I do not and will not believe that. The house was immaculate with items in it such as my parents China from their wedding 35 years ago, newer furniture and dishes, my entire wardrobe (pre-pregnancy) with some items such as $150-$200 dresses and suits, designer shoes and purses. And they threw it away? Do I have any rights here? Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jennifer C.
