Will Everhome modify my loan payment
Before we made a late payment, we wrote a letter to a litigation department asking for help. Our mortgage adjusted in November 2007 and it went up by almost $1000 a month. We asked to modify our mortgage as refinancing was not an option due to decrease in value. Everhome asked for our financial papers and after they reviewed it, they said that they do not think we can afford a lower payment. We have had a job change and explained to them that this year(2008) income will be much higher them last 2007. But they said that either sell your home or make more money and show it to us, may be them we will modify your loan. Our goal is to have somebody to negotiate with Everhome to modify our loan (to fix it for a lower interest rate)
