I need a realistic repayment plan set up with Litton
April 15, 2008
I desperately need help with working out a realistic re-payment plan. The one that was created for me last month does not allow for unexpected expenses. The payment increased by over $600 a month with a $3500 down payment. I have two small children and an elderly parent and need my home. Please assist in any way you can. Is a forbearance and re-payment plan possible for me?

Negotiate with the bank....show them that you cant afford the monthly payment anymore....as long as they are getting thier money they will not modify. An attorney can provide the proper paperwork and procedures needed to get the best deal possible. Any bank doesnt have a choice but to work with the hired attorney, but he must have experience and history with the bank through prior modifications to get the best deals, Ones you probably didnt think were even possible.

I have just been laid off and with the way thigs are right (no work)I'm wanting to know what you can do to help??
We were only one month behind on our adjustable rate payment when I tried to get Litton to modify our loan and all they did was give me the run-around! I couldn’t believe it when the guy on the phone (he was a big jerk!) actually said that my family shouldn’t eat so much because then we would spend less on groceries and would have more money to make our mortgage payment! He also said we should get a cheaper car and a bunch of other stuff that was really rude. This whole thing was keeping me up at night worrying about what was going to happen to us. I told my friend at work about this and she said I should call the loan modification company that got her loan modified down to 3.25% fixed interest rate! I finally decided to call them, and in about 45 days they got my interest rate down to 3.85% on a fixed rate too! The company is First American Financial Group and we are really happy with what they did for us. The website is theloanmodfacts.com. We chose them because they didn’t make a bunch of promises like some of the other companies and they had a 100% money back guarantee. I hope this helps some other people fighting with their loan company!
Litton Loan has treated us fairly
we are 3 months behind on our mortgage do to loss of job and they gave us a decent payback schedual. we are also in the process of doing a modification. they have always been polite and helpful. Just tell the truth and be polite to them and they will respect you and your problem

Dear Representative:
I received a letter from my current lender Fremont Investment and Loan that my loan has been transferred to you Litton Loan Servicing LP.
This is an opportunity for me as a valued customer to ask you for a lower rate that I could not get approved by my current lender. I have been struggled with that high interest rate since two (2) years; and I remain my credibility, he would be a lot for me, if I could get that change from you.
Sincerely yours,
