Has anyone been succesfull with a Deed-in-Lieu with Chase?

I am interested in doing a deed in lieu on my house. we have not lived in it since aug. of 2007. we had chase bank as mortgage holder but they recently sold our mortgage to another company. we could no longer afford the payments it was an adjustable rate loan and kept going up.

I might work at chase. DIL's are damn..near..impossible. Its not just something you can apply for, you have to have serious reasoning, death, seriously ill, stuff like that or you wont be considered. Try to short sale it. Im not gonna pretend like i know it all, but from experience, there not hasty about helping. Thing I hear most all day is "allow time...".
